Chickii chicken is the best! So tender and savory. I love the rice bowl mixed with the Chickii sauce and spicy teriyaki. Lemonade is good too

Arrived hungry in Phoenix and decided to try this place as we wanted something light for lunch. It takes about 35 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport but since our hotel is near the restaurant, we decided to just go ahead with our plan. My husband and I ordered the Rice Bowl and Munchii Chickii. The Rice Bowl comes with chicken cutlet, coleslaw, pickles, rice and sauce of your choice. I took the ranch. Very simple meal but it hits the spot. Exactly what I wanted. My only complaint was that the slaw was too little. I should have ordered one extra on the side. My husband's order came with mac n cheese, seasoned fries, chicken bites, slaw, pickles and ranch. Pretty good too! I forgot to ask the staff if the meats are halal but I thought I saw a halal meat certificate on the wall. Overall good food, easy parking, clean place. I like it.

I do wish my review was more positive, but I did like my meal or experience at Chickii. To begin, the sign out front was not lit, making it hard to find. I ordered the chicken sandwich, no substitutes for pickles and slaw was an L. First impression was that chicken sandwich was very greasy. You can see the shininess from the grease on the bun. The chicken was good sized, interesting flavours. I did like that they have a curry sauce and Thai influence. The flavour wasn't great though. Won't come back.

Called to place my order. I ended up getting the chickii sandwich with Fries plus a drink. It was really really good and a lot for me , would definitely recommend people to stop by to get a sandwich from here. Very delicious!

This afternoon, I had no clue what to have for lunch, so I checked Yelp and stumbled on Chickii--4.8 stars on both Yelp and Google. Obviously, I had to try it. What got me curious was their rice bowl. I mean, a rice bowl at a fried chicken spot? Never heard of that before. So I went with the mild chicken rice bowl and added their Chickii sauce. When I got there, the place was pretty empty, but they had this cute chicken decoration inside, which was kinda fun. I grabbed it to go, and honestly, it was a solid choice--big portion, super tasty. No regrets!

My new favorite chicken spot! I loved their fresh, flavorful wings and curry sauce. Fries tasted like mama noodle seasoning--a delicious twist! Great service, clean restaurant. Highly recommend!

We came here right by the coffee shop where we were studying. I was excited to try this place because it has many great reviews. First off, the inside is cute. I like the chicken stickers, the art on the wall, etc. It is a tiny space. Music is blasting from the TV, and maybe it's loud in the kitchen. The staff and we couldn't hear each other well. It's not that big of a deal, but it does increase our annoyance, haha. The food was mid. I think the sauces are pretty creative and fun, but the chicken tenders were not crispy and almost looked like fish pieces, as someone else said. It's not very cheap either.

We were a party of four each having different orders and unanimous 5 stars from each of us. My chicken sandwich was huge and the chicken breast was juicy and delicious. I will be back to this place on one of my many visits to Arizona to enjoy that chicken sandwich.

    Do y'all deliver?

They don't deliver but, they are on DoorDash. 😊 They're definitely worth a shot. They've got some pretty great chicken with awesome sauce options. My suggestion: Soy glaze or peanut.

As a proud Yelp Elite, I decided to give this place a chance because the reviews were the best I saw in the city! The place was busy on a Sunday night and it is small but I never say customers waiting too long. There were two larger parties seated so the food took some time but nothing outrageous. We started with the calamari, spring rolls, and crab wontons. The calamari were the biggest I've ever seen and very delicious! Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the spring rolls or crab wontons. I feel like those are hard to get wrong but I was not a fan of the cream cheese that was used and it was a lot of it, barely any imitation crab. For entrees, I had the spicy basil and substituted ground chicken for chicken breast, my personal preference. I ordered level 2 spice but it was still a bit spicy for me. Trying a new Thai place is always hit or miss with spice levels so I actually thought I was being safe with 2. Additionally, the chicken was so bland. Some Thai places season their chicken, some do not and unfortunately Pad Thai Cafe missed that mark. My partner ordered the short rib curry dish and my goodness, it smelled like heaven and tasted just as good. I don't eat beef but had to taste it and it was divine! He also ordered spice level 2 and his dish was not as spicy as mine. Overall, the rest of the party enjoyed their food and there were good flavors there so I'd definitely recommend the entrees, not so much the starters.

The chicken Potstickers were solid. Thai tea was not too sweet and delicious. The Massaman Curry though... First, I asked for extra peanuts and did not get them. Then I asked for a 1/5, and there was no spice at all. Like none. It made for a bland meal for sure. It was more than just the lack of spice, there was a lack of flavor for the curry in general. I expected some spice but nothing overpowering. I got the majority to go, so I can fix the issue at home. Overall, nothing super impressed me. Thai Chicken is moist with nice slight char to give you that depth of flavors. Can easily share this. Egg rolls were crispy on the outside and moist inside, served with a great orangish red sauce. I ordered the way I did on purpose. These are my go to Thai dishes. The staples. I wanted to taste everything I consider my personal favorites so I could really gauge the restaurant across the board. The vegetable egg rolls and chicken satay were good. Solid. The potstickers were good. The chicken larb was actually good, maybe a little too much sugar, it tasted slightly sweet, but still one of the stronger dishes. Mango sticky rice was enjoyable. The Thai iced tea, flavor was on point. That's actually my first indicator when I try a Thai restaurant. The only thing that would've made it better is crushed ice. Real Thai spots usually use crushed ice. It melts perfectly and dilutes the sweetness just right. When you use block ice, the tea stays too sweet longer. Crushed ice gives it that smooth balance. Small detail, but that's how I gauge authenticity. Now to the honest part. The pad Thai was mediocre. It was lacking. I've definitely had better and I wouldn't recommend that dish. The spicy fried rice was okay, nothing special. The lad na gravy was way too thick, and instead of using Chinese broccoli, they used regular American broccoli. That's usually my second give when I rate a Thai restaurant. Traditional lad na uses Chinese broccoli. That swap changes the texture and the authenticity of the dish. They also didn't have the typical sauce that usually complements lad na, which I found strange for a Thai restaurant. The Thai fried rice was decent. Overall, I'm giving this place four stars. Here's my why. First, they didn't have common condiments that are pretty standard at most Thai restaurants. That threw me off. Second, the service. They weren't rude at all. Everyone was friendly. But the attentiveness just wasn't there, especially considering we placed a large order and the restaurant wasn't that busy. Third, the flavor and authenticity details. It just didn't hit the way traditional Thai food usually does. I've eaten Thai food all my life, especially in Thai Town in California and throughout Orange County, and the flavor profile here wasn't on that level. If someone asked me if I would return, probably not. But don't let my review stop you. Be your own judge. My goal isn't to hurt the business. It's feedback. Tighten up the service, dial in the flavor, stick closer to traditional ingredients, and it could easily level up to five stars for my taste. And yes, expectations vary. I've eaten a lot of Thai food, so I may be grading on a different curve. One more tip, if you're a party of six or more, double check your receipt. Gratuity was already included in ours and I didn't realize until I got back to where I was staying since I'm out of town. I had to call and have the extra tip removed. Just keeping it real.
