This place is the bomb! They have a scrumptious assortment of all kinds of chicken salad, sandwiches, sides, soups, and deserts. We arrived a year ago but only discovered them a month ago and have been back 3 times! Their potato soup paired with their chicken salad with pineapple, grapes and apples is a can't miss. The delicious buttercream cookie as a desert is an added bonus, but the have a larger version you can also purchase, Can't wait to stop by again. read more

I was passing through the area and made a stop for lunch. This is a healthier fast food place. They have multiple flavor chcken salad, with something for the bold like spicy chicken salad to the most traditional chicken salad for those with a less adventurous palate. They also have soup, different choices every day. That was my choice of side on a cold Florida day. They top off the meal with a tasty cookie. The staff at the counter was very friendly, helped me make the decision on what combinations of salads would go well together. The place was clean and reminded me of the decor in my grandmas kitchen. Overall it was a good meal. read more

We have eaten here many times and we love it. The different kinds of chicken salad are great to try. The food is always fresh and prepared nicely. The soups are always good. The place is clean and nice to sit and eat. The service is good (counter) unless they are very busy, then you might have to wait a few minutes. The only complaint is that they did away with the salad. So sad. Please bring it back! read more

Simple clean delicious. Generous portion go away satisfied. The white chocolate cake is divine.

I was leaving the gym and drove pass Chicken salad chick & and the name is just catchy so I came in! The environment feels like grandmas home, cozy vibes, very clean, everyone is friendly and helpful ! Indoor and outdoor seating ! The young lady who took my order was so helpful. It was my first time here & I was a tad confused, but the young lady at the counter made that experience well. I order the Chicken BTL on wheat bread , it came with a pickle and a sugar cookie with no drink it's came out to about $9 & come change and that wasn't bad :) The sandwich was good. I don't really eat chicken salad, but i will eat it here ! Only thing is I wish my bread was a bit more toasted i love me so CRUNCH! read more

Chicken Salad Chick - a plate of food on a table - Sandwiches Near Me - Port Orange, Florida

Whenever we embark on a road trip out of South Florida to Jacksonville, the Carolinas, or other destinations, we always make a pit stop at Chicken Salad Chick. A terrific little spot to have a quick bite to eat and refuel the batteries, they offer tantalizing chicken salad varieties for a fair price, as well as some exquisite pimento cheese dips. Chicken Salad Chick is one of the few chains that I genuinely enjoy and find the consistency no matter where I go. The Port Orange location is a good one, with attentive and polite staff and tasty chicken salad dishes. I should say the word again, "tasty," because it is. What I really enjoy about Chicken Salad Chick is the fact they have a lot of different varieties of chicken salad (at least 12), as well as sandwich and pimento cheese offerings. I usually order two to three different types of chicken salads when I'm there on a bed of lettuce, maybe even some pimento cheese. For my money, the Classic Carol is a good start, the Cranberry Kelli, because I like the sweetness of cranberries that make it quite hearty, and the Buffalo Barclay, which if you are a fan of wings, you won't be dissatisfied. Additionally, the Pimento Cheese is super good with crackers. If you live near a Chicken Salad Chick or passing through a town that has one, do yourself a favor if you like chicken salad and stop at one like the Port Orange location. It will change your life. read more

Arrived Saturday around noon to a light crowd. As always the crew did their best to take care of our order. Kaitlyn at the register was very pleasant and helpful. We always enjoy great service here. Ordered the Kelli scoop with grape salad, a favorite of my wife and I ordered the Sassy Scotty on wheat bread with a side of macaroni and cheese. Everything was good but thought the macaroni and cheese was not up to normal standard and is why I gave them 4 stars. Kaitlyn and colleagues earned a five star rating. read more

Amazing food, the best chicken salad sandwich I ever had !!! Chicken salad chick provides great portions for the price.

Their chicken salad is the best. Friendly servers always helpful. One of my "go to" places.

My first time here and it did not disappoint. They have a whole menu dedicated to just chicken salad with so many different types to choose from. You can even sample any of the chicken salads if you would like before ordering. If you are not into chicken salad that is ok, they have egg salad or pimento cheese for the vegetarians. They also have various sides such as fruit, soup, pasta salad, etc. that go with your sandwich. I opted for a lighter option after Thanksgiving. I got the classic salad with a scoop of their lemon basil chicken salad. It was very flavorful and I loved the basil in it. You can get an extra scoop if you would like extra protein. It also came with a pickle spear and cookie on the side (all meals come with the cookie too). Overall, I was very happy with my first experience and will be back to try more. Cashier was also very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We sat outside and they brought it out to us. read more

I used to love this location. I went into tonight around 6:30 and they were out of sassy Scotty. The kind young girl at the counter (Camille?) told me it would be a minute because they had to make more. No problem. While I was standing there waiting there were two young gentleman in the kitchen goofing around and talking very loudly about how they were completely out. Then one of the males told the girl at the front (jokingly) that she was useless and kept joking around Not my kind of humor, but was more bothered that I was literally the only one in there and it had been 10 minutes since I ordered. I used to work in food service and loved chatting and having fun with my coworkers, but this was not conversations I'd have in front of customers. I got my order after about 15 minutes and left. Got home, opened the container, and started stirring it. Then I noticed a grape. Thought it was pretty weird since there are no grapes in sassy Scotty. Whatever. It happens. Ate two bites, and on my second bite I tasted something sweet and discovered it was pineapple. Kept stirring and found five more pieces of pineapple. There is not supposed to be pineapple in sassy Scotty. The whole container is sweet and that doesn't go well with cheese, ranch and bacon. It is now in the trash . I am pretty sure they took a few different kinds and mixed them together instead of making a fresh batch of sassy Scotty. I called and spoke with Angel who apologized and made some comment about how it must have been scoopers mixed up or they mixed up trays? She offered to make note and I could pick up a fresh one when I came in next time and I politely declined. She was very kind but I declined because I won't be coming in anymore. read more

We love Chicken Salad Chick! We've been to this location a few times and had good experiences. The food was prepared timely and our orders were correct. The food is always delicious. I particularly like that the "Chick" meal comes with a little cookie! It's the perfect finale to the meal and it's SO GOOD. I will say that this location didn't seem to have the same flavors as my home location, but I think that could have been due to seasonality. I recommend the Fancy Nancy and Fruity Fran flavors and the grape salad and seasonal strawberry summer salad for sides. All employees were wearing masks and the restaurant is so clean! We felt very safe. read more

Always out of food and you would think they're having to cook steak in the back with how long it takes to get chicken salad.

Great place for lunch (assuming you like chicken salad)! They let you try everything, the prices were extremely reasonable, and the free mini cookie was a nice touch (and delicious enough that I bought another!) Wish we had this place where I lived. I had the lemon basil, which was AMAZING! And also the buffalo, which had good flavor but I wished was hotter. I tried all the "spicy" options, and I didn't think any of them were that spicy (but I like spicy!) so I went with the flavor instead. read more

Huge fan of chicken salad chick ever since I went to one for the first time. Buffalo barclay is off the chain and I love it.

The food was so fresh and packed with flavor. The meal was more than enough and well priced. The service was quick and I was given delicious recommendations. The ambiance was old-school and calm. It's such a cute place and lots of smiling faces. Very clean, fast and they bring the food out to you. I love this place. I was literary going every week when they first opened. I came back after a long while and remembered why I loved it so much. It's always so hot and fresh, then the cookie just tops it off. It's so soft and just the right touch to end the meal. The service is always really good and the establishment is nice and clean. Love taking my baby girl to eat lunch here. She will eat everything I order, especially the fruit. We get the trio with 2 scoops and grape salad, then I add fruit on the side just for her. We loved the Springtime special Dill-icious! Really wish that was on the menu! At least give me the recipe! The only reason I give 3 stars is because I know they use mayonnaise made of soybean oil. I'd pay more if they changed to no-soy products. Soy increases estrogen in both male and female, which means women reach menopause sooner and men decrease testosterone. Tisk tisk. GO SOYFREE. read more

Had the opportunity of sharing lunch with a friend Friday. We had been talking about making chicken salad sandwiches...but decided to try out Chicken Salad Chick. After ordering a sandwich and small ( emphasis ... SMALL) and an ice tea. Our server was delightful, prompt, and explained the menu. The wait was reasonably quick, although the lunch crowd was minimal. To our surprise the sandwiches were small, and a minimal amount of chicken salad. It appeared that a couple teaspoons of salad mixture was tossed on bread. We both joked....the name of the restaurant was so accurate. You get the amount of chicken that is on a baby chick! One baby chicken provided the maximum amount for the sandwich . Save your time and money folks, there are many better options for a great chicken salad served in various methods. The restaurant had everything going for it, clean, nicely decorated. The service was good. But the product sorely disappointing . read more

Too much food! Almost.... I had the standard chicken salad sandwich on wheat berry bread. I really enjoyed it! Will be back...

So many yummy options...Every different style of chicken salad we tried was delicious! You can't go wrong. I usually get mine without bread, but my parents both chose to make theirs sandwiches. The bread is soft and compliments the chicken salad(s). Their broccoli salad is my favorite side. Those sugar cookies melt in your mouth. read more

5 stars! Where else can you go for like 20 different types of chicken salad? They offer samples, and all of them were great! The prices are very reasonable. I will be back to get some to go. First time here. I enjoyed the food, ambience, & service. What was absolutely insane though was the unnecessarily high use of plastics in every part of the meal- from the eating utensils to the plastic encasing the tiny cookies they give to each patron. And then... there's absolutely no way to recycle all that plastic. Everything just gets chucked in the trash. It's comforting to know that my cookie wrapper will outlast the meal I just ate by hundreds of years. read more
