I love this place, it's local, it's reasonably priced, it's the best!! This is absolutely one of my favorite places to get rotisserie chicken, they cook it perfect every time and it comes with many sides. We usually get a whole chicken with the cucumber tomato salad, my kids love the mash potatoes with the gravy and Mac and cheese. Hidden gem!! It's a mixture between Chinese/Mexican food. This place has the best ribs and green sauce. I usually get the chicken and ribs combo with yellow rice and broccoli. Their ribs are so tender that they just slide off. I definitely recommend getting their green sauce because it literally goes with everything! The rice is so bomb. I always come out of this place with a food coma. They get pretty busy during lunch time but you can order ahead and they'll have your food ready. Girlfriend: My boyfriend put me on this place since last year, was a huge fan of the grilled chicken breast. Was finally able to get it today and was saddened they didn't have it anymore. It's been replaced with fried chicken tenders. Really wish it wasn't replaced but everything else is as delicious as it was before. Workers/Manager are not friendly here with the exception of one guy with a Spanish accent he was very friendly over the phone. The Indian woman at the register is also very friendly. Scheduled a pick up order over 24 hours in advance for a specific pick up time. Got there on time and waited an extra 30 to 35 minutes for my order. To make things worse the next day I checked my Bank statement and noticed I was charged an extra 5 dollars. I used a debit card to pay and was not informed there would be an extra fee for using a Debit card to pay over 130 dollars. As for the food the ribs and green sauce are what's worth ordering however the ribs are no longer sauced the same. They are different from what they used to be as stated by other reviewers. The sides to avoid are, mash & mac n cheese. The mac n cheese is not cheesy & the mash has a very strange taste, most likely made by using water and powdered potato mix. I got the half chicken and 2 sides, rice and red potatoes. it also comes with a can of soda, coke or sprite, and two slices of pita bread. I also got an extra side of corn. I'd say most of the food like the chicken, rice, and potatoes are very flavorful and can be slightly on the salty side for some people. When I got home, I actually mixed in a little plain white rice and it was perfect. I was able to eat this take out order for like 3 meals and all for $10 too! The half a chicken comes with at least one leg, one thigh, and one breast. Also I wouldn't mind if I were eating at home but I don't like to deal with bones when I'm eating outside, which it does come with bones, because it gets messy and I'm lazy. P.S. Try the green sauce. It's probably my fav green sauce place. The lunch order comes with 2 little green sauce containers. Chicken Lovers is not just a restaurant...for some of us, it is a way of life! lol I am so happy that I stumbled across this place last night as I was searching for something to eat in a neighborhood that was new to me. I wanted a quick bite and this place was close and looked great. I actually parked and rode my bike to the location. Parking was good though with a parking lot right no Northern Blvd in Queens. It looks like an old school restaurant from the outside. And when you walk in through the door you have to go through plastic curtains like in an industrial refrigerator. I was thinking that it may be gross in there as I walking inside to be honest. When you walk in it is very "no frills" and not that nice at all. But...it does smell amazing and the sides in the display looked good as well. The staff were really friendly and helpful and got me in and out quickly with my food. There are random tables set up to eat inside as well if you do not take out the food with you. I went at the end of the night and many items were already sold out. But I did manage to get a half chicken and 2 sides. I went with the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The Mac N Cheese was so good and plentiful that I only ate that as a side and kept the mashed for lunch the next day. The chicken is grilled and both white and dark meat and was delicious as is. They do have green sauce and another sauce as well to add some flavor if you must. A huge piece of naan bread came with the chicken and was great making my own pieces of the bread and chicken and sauce. I have not had grilled chicken like that since I was in Long Beach, California and it was grilled outside all day. It took me back there last night. So I just got a whole chicken instead. The food is always fresh and you can tell they care about their quality from the food. The chicken is never dry and always juicy and ribs just fall right off the bone. The green sauce they provide with the chicken is just a match made in heaven. It has a nice little spicy kick to it but just very slightly that leaves you wanting more. The corn was so buttery and creamy i can't stop thinking about it right now. The potatoes were delicious too of course! There were a few pieces slightly over cooked but it's ok, even with it being a bit mushy it was still yummy.
