Well, let me say how happy I was trying this food today. I saw this place the other week and have been waiting for the right time. As you can see from the pictures the portion sizes are great. I ordered a combo of 2 sliders and a side and the sliders were huge. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy with a great crunch from the fry and the cold slaw. I have to say, I love spicy and I ordered my food medium and it had a nice low level burn. Will get a bit hotter next time to see the height of fire. My other order was the loaded fries and just the amount of chicken makes it a meal for most. The staff were very friendly and they were making the food to order. The restaurant is a nice size and the train station is across the street. I was

I got the 2 tenders and side meal and I won't get tenders anywhere else.. let me tell you why. They prepared my tenders fresh as soon as I ordered And the chicken was like perfectly crispy and perfectly juicy. The Mac and cheese was not my style but still very good. The spice level was def matched my tastes. I'll be coming back ughhh Make sure to eat it fresh or air fry it when you take it Togo.

Chick N Drip is a new Nashville hot chicken shop that just opened in the heart of Bayside. The special thing about this chicken shop is that it is all halal. From lite mild to reaper, they have all spectrums of spice levels. I tried the extra hot and it was truly an experience. The chicken was crispy and the potato bun was soft. The wait was a bit long - because of grand opening but the staff were nice once we got to the front. Definitely will come back here again.

We came to Chick N Dip for their grand opening and received a free chicken sandwich with fries. This was a promotion that was limited to one per person. I got the medium heat, while my boyfriend got the hot. The burger was a little messy to eat, but the chicken itself was thick, meaty, juicy, while still crispy. I also liked how they put a thicker slice of pickle inside. Overall, it tasted pretty good. The fries on the other hand (though seasoned) were pretty tasteless and definitely needed the sauce on the side.

Two words: $hit Hole. My teenage son dragged me here for the Chix Mac and cheese. Thought I was entering a drug front. No letter grade from the health dept. posted on the front window was my first warning. None of the decor matches. As if the they took pieces of other restaurants and cobbled them together into an uncomfortable mess. The dining area seconds as a supply room, with boxes of bread and commercial sized jugs of cooking oil piled helter skelter on the floor. Two TVs on the walls that don't work and plastic house plants screwed to the ceiling tiles upside down. Guy behind the counter seemed nice enough. When asked if they had a restroom, was told it was out of order. When asked if the faucet worked so I could wash my hands, I was answered with a shake of the head. I was afraid to ask where they go to the bathroom. My son and I ordered and I paid. It was then I looked at the food prep/ cooking area. OMG!!! Like a science experiment that exploded. Unrecognizable liquid coated the walls, the floor, the counter, the pots and pans. If a health inspector walked in, he/ she would close the place immediately and place a biohazard sticker on the locked front door. Was going to ask for my money back, but read a review while waiting for my order that they don't grant refunds. I must admit there was a stream of people coming in and out for take out. I decided to stick around because we were both starving. Oddly, the chicken was meaty and juicy. The seasoning tasted good as well. My son's chix mac&cheese looked like something from the floor of a school bathroom on prom night. He said it was "ok". There were many positive reviews from other sites. I suspect it's friends, family and avatar Drove home waiting for an attack of salmonella or explosive diarrhea. So far, it hasn't struck.

Great local food at a great price, it's one of those places where you could definitely see yourself being a regular due to price location and quality. I came here cause I was curious to see how hot chicken was done here and if it would match up to the competition here in NYC and in Nashville where the dish originally came from. While it didn't beat Nashville it definitely beats whatever is in NYC at the moment. I ordered the loaded fries and the slider chicken tender combo and both items exceeded expectation. The fries and the chicken were super crispy, the same can be said of the chicken in both the slider and the chicken finger, but despite the chicken being spiced just right, with a nice crispy coat ultimately the star of the show was the sauce they used to drizzle the loaded fries with and what they gave us on the side as a dipping sauce for the chicken. The sauce had a kick of chipotle, was hot and extremely rich, which helped take a slight edge off the spiciness of everything. Overall an awesome meal and a great introduction into hot chicken

Really flavorful and delicious ! I got combo 2, which includes 2 sliders, and fries ($12). Good for 2 ppl. Fries were crispy!! Recommended!!

Good portion of food and the service is relatively quick but flavor wise wasn't the biggest fan of the chick n rice. Thought it would taste way better than the halal carts platter which I love. Price was 12 for one order including tax. The spice tasted just bitter and chemical like. I like spicy food that tastes fragrant and like real spices not artificial and cheap. Overall not bad but wouldn't go again. Wish they put more rice and better tasting sauce/spice

We ordered the chicken cutlet meal and the beef noodle soup. The chicken was cooked beautifully, light, crispy, and not greasy at all. I was in the mood for some Blood Rice Cakes, so I stopped by just as they opened for the day. One of the kitchen staff handed me the order, and I should have double checked it then, but I didn't think to since we were there as they opened (they must have gotten other orders already!). Upon arriving home, I realized they gave me the wrong order. We called them, and they has also realized the error and offered to remake the order. We headed back to pick up the correct order. They give a decent portion, and the spiciness is always on point. Be warned that the Hot is like pure spicy! What I ordered: -Blood Rice Cakes (Mild): good chewy texture. It's mild in flavor, so might be better with a Medium spicy. -Turnip Cakes (Medium): nice soft interior, and a crisp exterior. Good turnip flavor, that is not overpowered by the spicy. What was mistakenly given to me (eaten the next day - reheated): -Legend Pops (Medium?): Good ratio of breading to chicken. Best to reheat this by toaster oven to crisp up a little. The chicken held up well. -Sweet Potato Fries with Honey Mustard: Good soft texture and sweet potato flavor. I am happy that they have this location, since it is much easier to stop by, and there is seating if I choose to eat in.

An employee directed me to the counter and helped me place my order, explaining the menu items. Another friendly employee ( I think his name was Alex) noticed my large order and personally helped carry four trays of food to the table, setting the tone for a genuinely great visit. From the first bite, it's clear this is far from ordinary fast-casual fare--the chicken is juicy beneath a perfectly crisp, non-greasy coating, and the spice levels are seriously dialed in, whether you opt for a manageable Mild or decide to take on a real heat challenge. I love that the chicken rests on the white bread which absorbs all the delicious juices. The menu is thoughtfully simple, focusing on sliders, tenders, and satisfying sides, all served fresh and hot. All delicious. The kale coleslaw is a triumph. So are the pickles. I despise pickles, yet ill eat all the pickles at Dave's. They're so good! Then for rosé flavor, which is literally just adding heavy cream to the sauce, is an extra $6. Then we ordered the 10 wing + 5 drumstick combo and we asked for half/half sauce assuming half of the 15 pieces are one sauce and the second half is another sauce. First off, they charge you $2 for sauce, which is fine but tell me why they charged us $2 FOUR times. So $8 total for sauce bc they separated the 10 wings into 5 and 5 and put one sauce each and they charged $2 each for that. And then they separated the 5 drumsticks into 3 and 2 and put one sauce each and charged $2 each for that. So total for 10 wings & 5 drumsticks was around $44. I've literally been to every korean fried chicken place on northern blvd and never have they separated the chicken like that and charged the sauces that way. Like why are you charging us for sauce 4 times when it is one single order of chicken. Never coming back here. Its a legit rip off. On top of that, they charge you for to-go containers, which is free at every restaurant. They just charge you exorbitant prices for literally every single thing here.
