Honestly, this place is so slept on... Krave It has the best pizza in Bayside-- by a LANDSLIDE. I love that they use unbromated flour and I appreciate that every piece (even the specialty slices with many heavy toppings) has great structure, no flop. Thin & crispy crust, great ratio of sauce and cheese. I also love how clean the restaurant is. They have some incredible specialty slices that I never knew I needed in my life until I tried them! Especially the "Desi Boy" slice and the "white truffle chicken cutlet" slice. I also have to mention their vodka slice with sesame crust Everything in this place is high quality, even their regular slices. Their sandwiches are pretty incredible too, and you can tell that the bread is fresh made in house-- you don't feel bloated or overly stuffed after eating them! The owner is super friendly and even gave us a couple extra slices to try to complete our "pie" when we had already ordered a small variety of slices. The staff are all very friendly and it feels very comfortable and less stuffy than some of the other pizzerias in the area. Happy to give this place my business. Just had to come back for the Angry Nonna Sandwich again at Krave It after the Yelp Food Pickup Experience few days ago. Took the Q13 Bus (which was fast) like last time. Staff greeting and welcoming you with a warm smile when you walked in. Ordered at the counter, would take 10-15 min to make the sandwich. Ambiance wise = Love the hipster comic-styled wallpaper. Super genuine staff and great service as well. Can pay with cash or card, but there's a small service fee being charged for card. Besides getting the Angry Nonna Sandwich ($15.50), also ordered the regular fries that came with spicy mayo ($6.53) + a Krave It pineapple pop soda ($3.96) to wash everything down. Staff brought everything to the table even though it was only self serve. 1) Angry Nonna Sandwich: The mildly spicy sauce was delicious and savory. Chicken parm was seasoned well and not salty. Bread could've been a little more crunchy imo. Portion size was plentiful and definitely enough for a full meal. 2) Regular Hand Cut Fries: So many widely-cut fries and more fries than I'd imagined for a single order. Worth it! Size wise was like those halal rice platter in aluminum foil container. I got full midway but still finished the whole thing. Fries were definitely freshly prepared and made. Could've been just a little bit more crispier. Spicy mayo was the perfect sauce to dip the fries in. 3) Krave It Pineapple Soda: Refreshing to taste with the sandwich & fries. We got Krave It delivered through Uber Eats. It came quickly and no issues with the order. Lunch specials are available during the week through Uber. Lots of interesting and delicious menu items with not typical combinations. We had the HC Knights sandwich. It has grilled chicken, homemade pesto, roasted red peppers and fresh mozzarella. Awesome combination especially when it's warm. We also got the White Truffle with Chicken Pizza. Lots of flavor and the crust stayed straight, it didn't droop. Will definitely order again. I heard about Krave It but never been when I'm in Bayside. It's so close to the Bayside LIRR train, finding a parking spot is a challenge if you drive. The employee was welcoming. I was checking out the pizzas and rolls. There are so many unique options. Since the person sharing with me wasn't picking up my call, I decided on fried oreo then chicken and waffles pizzas. Brunch: For the chicken and waffles pizza, I normally don't like spicy but wished there was an option for hot honey. It would be less sweet and more savory. It's a funky place with a fun atmosphere. They took our order at the counter. Then we seated ourselves and waited for our order. My daughter got the tikka masala wings. My husband got the chicken tenders and I got their truffle eleven sandwich. The sauce on the wings was creamy and had good flavor. The wings themselves were average. Pictures don't do this good justice. The food was expensive but worth every single penny. both items shown plus a drink cost me about $32 which is a lot of money but the food was absolutely worth it. Anything lower would've been a steal. The chicken sandwich was full of flavor and cooked perfectly and the ranch tator tots were super juicy and savory. Both items are pretty indescribably good. Our church has been ordering pizzas from here. I've had it 3times from church and a few other times privately and they r always spot on!!! I went back recent for Yelp and tried the cheeseburger slice and i thought it was going to be too much but it was SO good. The shift leader tried charging me $9 for a drink at a pizzeria. When I questioned it, he said "just kidding" and laughed. That tells me he was hoping I would not notice and would pay it. Was looking through Uber eats for an option that had a good buy one get 1 deal and stumbled upon this spot and was very pleasantly surprised. The same ol' sandwich I got on a wheat wrap and it was pretty nice-the garlic mayo was a nice way to go and getting it on the side was helpful so that it wasn't OVERLY either garlicky or mayo-y. However, this process was a bit much even knowing I was getting two of them, so not really a discount. The true star, though, was the white truffle chicken slice. It wasn't the cheapest slice of pizza I've ever gotten (so lucky that it came with 2). But I am such a sucker for truffle and this really hit any sort of truffle craving I had. Day of visit 1/15/2024 In the words of my very wise 7yr old "best day ever!" We really had such a great experience that day. And I certainly have the employees at Kraveit to thank for it. My daughter wanted the Mac and cheese slice and ofcourse that wasn't out. When I asked how long it would take for them to make the pizzas, also, if they were going to make a Mac and cheese pie soon? Paul (the awesome Pizza maker) said which ones do you want? I'll make em now. WHAT!!! He knew we'd get a slice or two, but offered to make whichever ones we wanted next. We ordered the Mac-tastic, sweet devil, and, fuego chicken. My daughter described the Mac and cheese slice perfectly. She said "this is blowing my mind with goodness lol". It's really a gem of a slice. The chicken fuego was my personal favorite. Perfectly balanced and delicious. The sweet devil wasn't my favorite, but I see the appeal. Their garlic knots were perfect. And dont forget the krave-it soda! It's addictingly delicious. I also reccomend the fried oreoz for dessert. Now while we were waiting for the pizzas to be done, we got our own pizza making class. My daughter was elated, and the bursts of laughter and happiness wouldn't stop. Diana showed her how she put the sauces on, and answered all her questions. Paul explained the toppings on the slices, twirled the dough for her, and showed her how he sliced them. She must have said "best day ever" over 20 times. She was so happy she forgot the was hungry lol. I know how busy this place can be, and how they crank out the pizzas, so to take the time to answer a curious child's questions really speaks of Paul and Diana's character. I've been coming to Krave-it since my college days (when it opened). And I'm happy to say, that they've officially sealed themselves in the hearts of a 2nd generation. My kids will be here and in the words of my 7yr old "I will bring my kids here one day". So after seeing some Instagram videos of all these delicious looking slices from this place few of us decided to come here for a quick lunch. Place opens up at 11AM so we showed up little before 1PM assuming most of the specialty pies would be ready but we were wrong. As we walked in the music was literally blasting louder than most of the local bars I drink at. The entire pizza display case was empty with maybe 2-3 simple pies all the way in the end of the display case. The girl behind the register explained they had some big order or something that's why there was no pizza ready I honestly could not hear her correctly because the music was so loud. We very disappointed but ended up getting their sandwiches instead. I ended up getting the HC Knights sandwich which is grilled chicken, homemade pesto, roasted red peppers and fresh mozzarella. This sandwich was very very good and the bread was crispy and delicious. Each sandwich also comes with a small side of spicy coleslaw. Really friendly workers and owner. You walk in and are already greeted with a smile. They have soooo many options for sandwiches, slices, and other snacks. We ordered different slices like the Doritos ones, the Birria, etc. All were delicious but the portions are huge so definitely stick to one slice and make your way up. Second time back. After my last visit and I was slightly disappointed the owner reached out to me and asked me to come back and my meal would be on him. Took him up on his offer. Ashley is the most helpful and pleasant young lady at the front counter. She even let me try their AMAZING white truffle slice with chicken on it and OH MY GOODNESS. Can't remember the full name of the second one. Both are pulled pork. I paid with credit card and was surprised that the credit card transaction doesn't give me the opportunity to tip the staff. I had a few bucks to throw into the Tip Jar, but would have given more of I could have. It wasn't a very long wait for the food... The Country Boy was pretty flavorful... we liked it. The Senior one was much less flavorful, but nice and soft and cheesy. I went back to the counter to order a slice of regular pizza to-go for our daughter. The same gal behind the counter asked me how the sandwiches were, and I was honest, telling her that mine wasn't that tasty. She said I should have gone back to her for more sauce... so NOTE to you readers... be prepared to revisit the counter for some extra sauce. At the same time, I asked for a slice to go, but since she already had a fellow ready to place an order standing in front of her, she motioned to me to wait just a minute, which I did. My daughter said that the pizza is pretty typical... she gives it a 7 or 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is best. My main reason for leaving this review though, as someone who has previously owned restaurants in the past, is to warn the owner of this establishment that they should be careful to keep this counter staff member happy. It's a real thing of value to have someone who can keep up with the busy pace of business on Bell Blvd and keep a smile on their face.
