I've been ordering delivery from Chicken is Back for quite some time, and I can tell you that the fried chicken is actually crispy and juicy. You must get the white garlic sauce if you're a garlic lover like me. It's so creamy and good! The spicy original is also really good if you like a little kick. My only complaint is that they put the sauce in such a tiny container, and it's definitely not enough... Although they're known for their fried chicken, don't sleep on the grilled chicken. It's a healthier option, but it's still incredibly juicy and flavorful. Honestly, it surprised me how good it was! As for the crispy batter fries, they're OK, but honestly, kind of meh. I do think it's a little pricey, but I'd say it's worth trying. Definitely recommend! read more

I was looking on Yelp for a korean chicken place to eat not far from my job and found this location so I decided to pick up lunch. Nice establishment, cute wall art, clean. I ordered 10 piece wings bone in with red pepper sauce and pickled relish on the side. The cashier was nice the chicken is made to order so it took about 10-15 minutes. The chicken was really good not to spicy, nice size pieces of chicken, good crunch to them. I will definitely order again and try there other flavor of wings. read more

Cozy small Korean restaurant. The service is good and the food is made fresh when ordered. We ordered the Korean crispy chicken wings and Korean seasoned fries. They came out very hot and very tasty. We enjoyed both dishes. I will definitely come back for more when in New York. read more

It's cute but not the cleanest place. As you might expect, the smell of greasy frying kind of permeates the air. No comfortable chairs in this house, but there is the one couch option in the back (between the kitchen and bathroom; right where my Jewish family always requests to sit ). The food is good; crispy chicken; delicious crispy fries; good sauce options. Everything is served very hot, which is great. The white garlic is a recommend. The frozen lemonade might be the best thing we had; must try if you like good fresh lemonade like we do. And the prices are typical of this cuisine. Higher than you'll pay at KFC or Popeye's but hey, it's a restaurant after all. read more

Wooooooo when I say their chicken sandwich is good, it was GOOOOOOOD! It was so good that I had to get it the next day again. Back to back chicken sandwich for lunch lol idk what kind of sauce they put in there but it was what made the whole chicken sandwich diff from other spots. Also to add that their chicken was tender and crispiness was on point. I just loved it so much!! read more

Delicious Korean fried chicken sandwiches. Hours are convenient and service was great.

Chicken is back is a great Korean style fried chicken place. They have constant take out orderd. The cheese snow flavor is very addictive. I was hesitant at first but it was so unique and delicious. The chicken was not greasy but it was very crispy. Chicken and I will be back. The ambiance was relaxing and inviting. Laid back. read more

Their wings with the white garlic sauce is the way to go. Very crispy, but not like some places where it's so hard that it hurts your roof. It's soft and nice. I got them for takeout, so I imagine it would be even better in person. I like the burger and fries as well, but they don't stand out as much. read more

There are a lot of Korean fried chicken options in the area, but I think I've found my favorite one. The chicken is juicy and the batter has a nice crunch without feeling too oily or heavy. We ordered 100 wings for a party and they even threw in a box of fries. Everything was ready on time. This will be our go-to from now on. read more

I stopped in here for a quick bite for dinner and was really impressed by this new chicken shop. It was pretty empty during the weekday so I ordered and waited at a table for my food, it took about 10-15 mins to come out and everything was delicious. The thigh burger was super juicy, fries were really crispy and I upgraded the drink in my meal to a mango slush drink (forgot what it was called exactly)... it was a little too sweet for my taste but still refreshing. The decor is also super cute, I was one of the few dining in but it looks like a lot of people have discovered this spot and order via takeout. I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area and would highly recommend! read more

Took my teenage son to "This Chicken Is Back" on Northern Blvd in Queens. It is a chill spot with friendly vibes and tasty food. They serve Korean-style dishes with a bunch of different sauces to pair with their crispy chicken, shrimp, and sandwiches. My son loved the frozen lemonade, and I was really into the corn slaw, super refreshing. The place is chill and cozy, with a few tables and benches for seating, plus some screens and even a few games to keep you entertained while you wait or eat. The staff were super friendly, gave great recommendations, and kept the vibe relaxed. Definitely a fun little spot to grab a bite. Will try again with others. Meter parking outside. read more

Top notch fried chicken. They fry it fresh on the spot. I had leftovers for two days and it stayed nice and crispy. Great quality meat, and they don't skimp out on the size either. I thought I ordered a 20 pc but it seemed like we were endlessly eating. They definitely threw in a few extra pieces. The bulgogi fries were also amazing. The bulgogi was delicious and fries were fluffy crispy. read more

The chicken is perfectly fried and we thoroughly enjoyed the honey garlic sauce. They have a couple of family set options which are great so you can try a variety of the items on their menu. Inexpensive combos and meals! The boneless chicken was very juicy and the fries were hot and crispy. I thought the honey soy sauce on the chicken was just a tad too sweet. It left me feeling a little thirsty afterwards. My husband liked the lighter version of the grilled chicken sandwich. It's a pretty casual establishment and the menu is very similar or identical to Mom's Touch a few years back. We had a big group and they were very accommodating! read more

Very good fried chicken! Got takeout, must try! Not oily and crispy and delicious. Really liked the variety of dipping sauces!

The crispiest, most delicious chicken!! My friend loves Chicken Is Back, so she brought me here and I was SO impressed that I already went back again on my own. If you like chicken (wings, bites, tenders, sandwich, etc.), trust me--this is THE spot! I don't think I've EVER had a better chicken sandwich than the one here, and my friend has said the same. For the wings, my favorites are the plain crispy wings and the honey soy crispy wings. Seriously amazing flavors! Aside from the delicious food, the service is also excellent and I love the vibe/ambiance! The lighting and art here are super creative and fun, definitely making it a great hangout spot for a group dinner. Highly recommend this spot and can't wait to keep coming back! read more

I came here back when it was Mom's Touch. Definitely sad to see it go but they still serve up a mean fried chicken. Their boneless wings are very juicy and crispy. The honey flavor was a bit too sweet to my liking so I would've liked a little more savory sauce to balance it out. Overall, still a pretty enjoyable dish. read more

My nephew and I chose to eat here because Dave's Hot Chicken was packed and we weren't going to stay out in the freezing cold. Glad it worked out that way! This has to be one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. The Premium Thigh Burger was on point. It was so tender and tasted great. Probably the juiciest chicken sandwich I've ever had and I've had many. The burger buns could be better, but it did not take away from the sandwich. The chicken might look bland, but it was well-seasoned. Also, their Organic Lemonade, which was more like a slushy was great as well. Highly recommend this spot. read more

We stopped in for takeout and ordered the 10pc cripsy wings and the thigh burger meal. The chicken wings were good and had a nice crisp to them. The thigh burger was thick, juicy and cripsy. It was a little messy though, but that's not a bad thing. The fries that came with the meal were a good amount and cripsy. It does take a little longer for your order to be completed since it's chicken and needs to be cooked longer, so you might be better off ordering online or calling it in. Also, the sauce sizes for the wings could be a little bigger. read more

Just went in here today. My thoughts: For one, it's nice that this place is open relatively late, especially up to 1AM on Fri and Sat! Most places in the surrounding blocks are closed by 10/11pm. Second, the food is delicious. My wife and I got the combo with two chicken thigh burgers and fries. I also added a 10 piece Honey Soy tender bites and some white garlic sauce on the side. The thigh burgers were perhaps the best I've ever had. Big pieces of crispy (not soggy) chicken. The onions, lettuce, and tomato all tasted fresh, with the raw onions being crisp and sweet and the tomato blending perfectly with the sauce on the sandwich. The honey soy bites were my way of testing their flavors before committing to wings in the future. They certainly passed the test and had a great crispy texture and the sweet flavor i was looking for. The fries were also made very well and maintained their crispy exterior. They also paired very well with the white garlic sauce. The pickled radish was good, which is worth saying as some places have some tough pieces of radish, but not here. The corn salad was...new to me. I don't know where I stand on that yet but overall I would def recommend this place and plan to try their other stuff in the future. Also, it's worth saying my wife doesn't really like chicken thigh burgers all that much from other places, but she really liked these! read more

The food was phenomenal. We went with high expectations and left with those expectations being met. At first it did take about 10 minutes to just get our order in because it was busy, but then things started moving. This is my second time visiting since the new management took over and the name changed to 'Chicken Is Back.' As a huge fan of the previous chain, I was initially worried that they might have altered the menu or the quality of the food. However, it turns out they are as good as before, if not even better! The overall ambiance is clean, spacious, and welcoming. The staff are both courteous and friendly. My family's favorites are the original crispy chicken wings and both the spicy and regular thigh burgers. I also love their cold noodle salad, where the veggies are always fresh and the noodles are perfectly seasoned. I'm so happy to have this Korean chicken place close by! read more
