GRANDE chicken burrito
Donald U.

They call this $15 item GRANDE burrito! Don't come here if you're hungry because this little thing won't satisfy you . To top it off the chicken was dry and I had to separate the gristle pieces.

A picture perfect Half Rotisserie Chicken with great beans and rice!

Definitely two thumbs up for me! Friendly service at the counter followed by a very good, fast, meal. I went with the half rotisserie chicken combo with rice and beans. Everything was very tasty!

OoooMmmGoodnessss!!! My first time at Chicken Fiesta and I am in Chicken Heaven!!! Let's start with the flavors! Amazing!!!! And The quality was spot on. The Quantity is filling. The price is Fair! What a great Tex-Mex restaurant. I was very happy with my food. They even have a Drive thru if you're feeling lazy. You can call in your order too. I will say the customer service was so/so, but everything else was nothing less than GREATNESS for me!

Stopped for lunch. I got a chimichanga and my wife a taco salad. With a name like Chicken Fiesta we both decided on chicken. The service was fast and the food excellent. My kind of fast food.

#4 half chicken combo with rice, beans, salad, and yucca. Best combo in RVA.

When I still worked nearby, I would visit Chicken Fiesta on Broad Street all the time. Stopped going so much when I changed jobs...then this location opened up closer to my house and totally changed my weekly diet again. The chicken here is undefeated. My go-to is either the #1 Chicken Sandwich or #4 Half Chicken combo -- both are a great value. ALWAYS get yucca. Fast service, great playlist.

Chicken Taco Platter

Delicious Mexican food! Fast. Friendly. Clean. Platter included a LOT of food! Chicken was delicious. Tacos were plain - but you could add other items off your platter to load them up. Yummy.

We arrived on Thursday night around 8 pm, and the parking was hit or miss. I had to circle the…read moreblock to find a spot, but it was pretty close once I did. I noticed the ice cream/yogurt spot nearby was hopping. There was a person asking for change outside the front door. We were greeted by an enthusiastic host and seated immediately at a booth up front. The server came by within seconds and brought us water and place settings. We decided to get the chips and salsa for an appetizer and a pair of melting chimichangas for entrees. I can't resist some chorizo and steak. My partner got the chimichanga without chorizo and with chicken. The ambiance was colorful with beautifully painted murals on each wall, and the atmosphere was undeniably loud. There were lots of patrons. The place was packed, even at the bar, so your mileage may vary. We received our orders within minutes of each other, so there wasn't much of a wait time. The chips and salsa were homemade, fresh, warm, and delicious (muy rico). Same for the entrees; exactly what I want in a Mexican food restaurant. The chorizo and steak were well-cooked, seasoned, and chopped finely, but not ground. I was in heaven with that chimichanga. We had to take home leftovers. The next night, heated in the oven at 325 for 30 minutes, they were similarly excellent. The night ended without dessert, sadly (too full). However, the server was quick and efficient, and he was always around to fill water and bring anything we needed throughout the meal. Great experience overall. We will definitely return here whenever we have a hankering for some good Mexican food at reasonable prices. I can recommend this place to anyone who appreciates hearty and filling Mexican food.

The ambiance can be described as eclectic and casual. It's great for big groups and relaxed lunches. There's a variety of menu options for food and drink. Our server was nice, but she didn't really answer our questions about the menu or substitutions, which was a little inconvenient. Also, we kept having to ask for utensils and napkins, which made our food get a bit cold. The pineapple habanero margarita tasted like spicy pineapple juice and was pretty expensive. It was pretty, but not worth the money. The food also was really average, but the portion sizes were good for sharing. The huitlacoche tacos were a little bland and soggy, the chicken chipotle tacos had a good sauce but were also soggy and the fajitas did not have enough seasoning. Not a restaurant that I would come back to, but I liked it's proximity to other dessert places nearby.

Try out the calamari. Some of you may order a second round to make it your entire meal. My eyes…read moreand stomach immediately lock to calamari whenever I see it on the menu of any place. The calamari were crispy and came out hot and throwing a little something different since this place is a fusion of Mexican/Chinese it came with gyoza dipping sauce. The menu is filled with options that combine two different styles but if you are not feeling adventitious you can get the standard. For the main course I went with the Szechuan Surf & Turf Burrito. Yooooooo.......... I was like who... no what ..... why .... How did someone come up with this. It is like when you visit somewhere and have good food but you know you are visiting and will not have it again until you return. Hopefully the place is still open. So much flavor packed up and rolled by some angel's hands back in that kitchen. No hunting for shrimp as with some places when they tell there is shrimp in the selection. I am so glad we decided to eat there because you can tell this is the type of meal where eating it hot is the only way to do it justice. This place is not the first to have a fusion of foods, but I can say it does a better job than most. Richmond has some great eating spots and is quietly a foodie spot to check out.

Food as decent, but suffering from fusion confusion. I specifically mentioned to the server that I…read morewanted spicy (which should be a given for any Szechuan dish) but results were lackluster at best. I was provided with Sriracha, but if you slather it on, that's all you taste! Wife's bulgogi burrito was better, but all-in-all we weren't thrilled. When you factor in the difficulty of street parking downtown, and the price (2 lunch burritos with tip and tax were @ $45) I don't think we'd make a special effort to return.

Once inside, there are a few rooms with different decor. I asked for a booth, so was seated in a room on the right with rims on the ceiling. so cool! First off, my waitress was so nice. she recommended I try the Green Chile Fried Chicken. Wow! If you like your chicken fried, this is different. It is fried using Lay's potato chip! It is so crunchy and delish! I had them put the chile on the side. Only complaint is that the chicken was half the size from the picture on their website. Felt a little cheated here. My guest had the King's Memorial combo. It was huge, but bursting with flavors and it came with a crispy taco on the side. Their complimentary chips are light and great and they have a white sauce and real tomatoes in their dip. Definitely returning to try more things.

Loved the creamy jalapeño sauce, the salsa was refreshing and bright, and the queso was yellow with (likely) rotel mixed in, but definitely delicious. The chips are a little too thin and don't stand up as well against the thick queso and salsa. We really enjoyed the fajitas and the plethora of accompaniments. The beans are a little off but nothing alarming but the tortillas were super soft. They met our expectations for a white mexican establishment. The flautas were good, especially with all the sauces, but i would get something different next time.
