Chicken is good. Plenty of parking but I was the only one there. We ordered online. I picked my order up. Went inside & the restaurant wasn't very clean. read more

The food was good and was fulfilled fast. I ordered online through DoorDash, for pickup and it was ready before I got there. The woman at the register was really kind and friendly and made sure I had everything that I needed before leaving. The chicken was crunchy, and the apple pie had a nice crunch, but still soft on the inside. read more

Other than the fact it took 4 min to order and 8 min for two tenders and a biscuit with mashed potatoes that were already made to be ready, everything was good. Lobby was clean and smelled good. Will come back but maybe they could use someone more focused watching the registers. Looks like the manager was right in front of me the whole time I was waiting for someone to take my order but he never offered any help. Overall it was what I expected but there is always room for improvement. Food was great, some of my favorite tenders in Tulsa. Price was a little high for such a small meal. read more

great chicken!!! very well cooked. the fries are great and they even give you gravy!!! the employees are very nice!!!!!!!!!

Food there is wonderful and my compliments to the staff thy work really hard .and especially when tge weather is horrible .

Bad food & customer service. The manager refused to replace my order with a receipt. I brought the food back as well.

I placed an order online through Yelp. You guys took my money check. My order gave me an order number. I get to the restaurant. They don't have my food. They can't even pull it up. I called your customer service line unfortunately, we're unable to help you because your account has been deleted no excuse you that is an error on your part and I suggest I get my refund of $17.58 or you will be hearing from my attorney. read more

Thanks for giving me food poisoning! When I opened the mashed potatoes and gravy and it looked gray that should have been my clue the rest of the meal was not going to be any better. The chicken was cold and had a chewy texture. So disappointing! read more

As someone who used to work there, I've always loved the food. Unfortunately, my order tonight was very disappointing. I didn't get any of the sides I ordered, and both the fries and the gravy were awful. read more

So I was kind of excited to try this place out because as someone who LOVES chicken, this was a place I hadn't been to yet. My daughter excitedly skipped to the door. got my hopes up! food was so bland, the chicken, mashed potatos, hub's fish. EVERYTHING the hushpuppies were dried out even. well i got halfway through my mashed potatoes and gravy and when I scooped, a hair came out! so I went up and showed a worker and said "just a heads up there was a hair in my mashed potatoes, you might want to be careful" and all I got was a "thanks".... I'm not one looking for free food, but needless to say once we saw that hair, we were done eating. both hubby and I didn't even finish eating. read more

FOOD NOT MADE FRESH AS REQUESTED! Asked for food to be made fresh. The order was read back just how I asked for it. I was even asked to pull up and wait 10 minutes for a fresh order. Just to get it with no Tartar sauce after specifically asking for Tartar sauce. The okra is not fresh in fact it is cold, hard, and stuck together. The chicken box and poppers were not fresh. Next time I ask for specifics I will sit and check my meal before pulling off and if not made the way I have requested I will be speaking to a manager for a full refund!! This happens more times than not. The amount being paid and waiting for old cold food is not ok!! There is no way to leave reviews directly on their website so have to go to Google or yelp. Now I see why! read more

I LOVEEEE chicken express but lately I have not gotten quality food. My roll was hard my regular tenders are fried to a crisp, not even looking like their usual tenders. read more

Chicken Express - fried chicken and tater tots - Chicken Wings Near Me - Tulsa, Oklahoma

This location without fail messes up our order every time. Always ask for mashed potatoes with NO gravy and we receive gravy every. single. time. Tried to go back to get correct mashed potatoes once and employee argued that there was no gravy in the mashed potatoes. (which was clearly a lie) and only would issue a refund instead of fixing the order. Extremely disappointed. read more

The chicken tenders were delicious and fresh! The Mac and cheeee was gross. Couldn't even eat it. It was like soup. Roll was decently fresh. The jalapeño poppers were really good. But you only get 3. read more

The food and service are great the employees are amazing they make it a five star restaurant but the side racist discrimination from the new managers to there employees is downright nasty read more

Lunch daily prices have gone up but everything went up everywhere so... But great food

We decided to run in and grab some chicken to take home for dinner. My husband decided he wanted fish and I stuck with chicken. Got the order placed and he fast at the first table. I was noticing how clean everything was! We changed our minds and decided to eat in. The food was great! From chicken, fish, corn on the cob, coleslaw, fried okra, mashed potatoes, and hush puppies! A big variety. Each one was great. They were not super busy but the employees were laughing and having a great time. It was definitely a great experience and honestly I have not seen a cleaner restaurant! Floors, tables, window ledges, drink and condiment areas spotless! As well as the food prep area. read more

The chicken is great. The prices are twice as high as comparable food, chicken. But simple fox lower prices and I'll be back.

When they first opened they were amazing! Very organized and impressive. We put our order in at 7:30 got our meal at 7:50. As we stood waiting we noticed there was Way to many staff they messed up on 2 orders and the only table came up and asked how much longer? So basically employees just bumping into each other. We asked about our order and as I did they just dropped the corn nuggets and then told us another 3 min. All for Express. Finally the cashier said something to us about how long it was taking which as nice. read more

My FAVORITE fast food chicken! I always get the spicy chicken tenders and a family size Jalapeño Poppers! Do not forget the Jalapeño poppers! They are delicious :) The sweet tea is very sweeet but it's bomb! read more

Recently we went to this place inwhich they have been very good but management must have changed. We waited 30 minutes for our order since they didn't have chicken breast. We was the only people in there at the time but we finally got served and was very dissatisfied. The chicken was soaked in grease, Mac and cheese was mush and burnt, corn was dried out. When we told the manager, he said it was water not grease...lol. We said, did you deep fry with water or oil...our plates was sitting in a puddle of oil which melted the Styrofoam. Manager kept arguing with us and kept saying it was water not oil. I've never seen any chicken drenched in oil. I requested our money back. read more

They took my order which seemed like it took forever then they said I had to wait eight minutes which turned into 20 minutes!!! I asked if everything was in the bag and of course they said yes. I get home, which is 25 minutes away and was missing family fries, coleslaw and rolls. I called them and they said they couldn't do anything unless I drove all the way back!!!! Won't return!!!!! read more

Had the spicy chicken tenders and corn on the Cobb. Chicken was just right and corn as well. I like the apple and cherry pies similar to the McDonald's pies before they went to the current crust. Glad this place is close to home and very convenient. Staff was courteous. Could be a little faster, but that chicken is worth the wait as they are always busy. I just walk in rather than use the drive thru. read more

Mmmmm. Never had chicken express before.. they did not disappoint that is for sure! I got the 4 piece chicken strip dinner with a biscut and mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was very delicious! Also try the fried pickels. They are pretty good too read more

10/14/22 @ 640 p.m. The last three times I have been to the Chicken Express at Memorial and 91st in Tulsa they have messed up my order. The first time I ordered a liver dinner and got gizzard which I do not like I spoke to the manager that time and she was very nice and offered that I could come back and they would fix it. The second time I ordered a large order around $70 and they forgot to give me the corn that went with my order. This time I called and again spoke to the manager he was indifferent offered no solution and ultimately hung up on me and then refused to talk to me when I called back. I did not return for a good six months. Today I went and again order a liver dinner amongst other items and got gizzards again that I hate. I again called and talked to the Manger who I think may have been the same one and was offered no solution. I ask if there was a corporate number and he said yes but he did not know it. I stated rather blandly that that would limit the number of complaints. He then stated with what I perceive as attitude "you should be able to look if up on Google you can find most phone numbers there." I have went to Chicken Express at any location for the last time I can guarantee. I find it deplorable that this how Chicken Express treats their customers and that this manager is who they have selected to represent them. KFC, Popeys, and Cains should really pay them because they have certainly convinced me to pick one of them from now on. Please do not waste your money at Chicken Express remember this is the same attitude that is preparing your food and cleaning their kitchen. read more

This place use to be one of the best! If not the best place for chicken and roll! The sweet tea was excellent! Now! Please stay away unless you want old chicken! Old rolls, and a wrong order! I went through the drive thru. I always would got thru the drive thur because the service was good! STAY AWAY! APPARENTLY! There must have been major personal changes! read more

When I am in the mood for some fried chicken. Chicken Express is the place for me. The chicken are always good, fresh and hot when I go. Those jalapeño poppers are my FAVORITE!! I love them and always get the family size because the regular size only comes in 3 ): and they are too good for just only 3 with my meal. They have a lot of good side options and you can choose the pieces of chicken you want as well as if you want a roll or biscuit. Really good always coming back for more. read more

I was very impressed with the boneless chicken. Not only was it flavorful but cooked perfectly. The rolls were very fresh. I will definately be back read more

Normally I'm a huge fan of this restaurant, however this location got my order wrong and served me old food. We waited behind 9 other cars to order, and once we did she didn't read our order back to us. I was hoping due to the amount of time we waited and how busy they were, that I would've gotten fresh food. The tenders were dripping in grease and felt like rubber, while the fried pickles were covered in soggy breading. read more

Food was cold and soggy not good at all. Do not recommend going to this one. Save your money.

This franchise comes and goes with me. I think they changed their gravy so I will avoid the tenders for a while. In fact, the tenders were also not my favorite. A little too much breading or overcooked, not sure. I am not going to mark them down on this one visit because I know the chicken is great. They also have fried fish but I didn't see the menu for that in time. I will give it a try. Small place, a couple of televisions, clean restroom. I wish they had a spicy version. read more

Chicken Express has very good chicken for a fast food restaurant. The staff was helpful. I would compare this restaurant with Cane's and find it better because of the seasoning and sauces they offer. If you've tried Cane's you'll like this restaurant as well and will have a variety of sauces and sides to choose from. Give them a try. read more

Got the 3 piece meal with dark meat. TASTY Chicken! A little on the salty side but I really liked it. The corn on the cob was cooked just right and the sweet tea will give you a thrill - it was as sweet as my mama :) The best thing of all? The service - all smiles even in the "voice" over the speaker at the drive through. Great experience all around and I'll definitely be back :) read more

Was a good place to get a meal but has gone straight downhill. Cold food, missing items and rude management who just don't give a darn if you did not get what you paid for. I recommend trying someplace else and avoiding the frustration and hassle of this place. read more

I always, always wait 20 minutes. This would not be all bad if the food was hot and fresh. This is never the case! They always forget at least 1 side . It's to the point of complete ridiculousness. I just do not go there anymore. read more

Normally I'm a huge fan of this restaurant, however after driving across town to get their fried fish, which is usually good, I was given really old dried out fish, so tough, both ends were uneatable, they did give me 4 pieces instead of 3, probably to make up for the fact that they knew they were giving me really old fish. I would have been happy to wait for fresh fish to be fried, had I been given a chance. read more

I am a regular customer of the Tulsa store @ 91st& Memorial location. I typically go by every afternoon and have a drink and an occasional cherry pie. The store is always clean and the service is always fast. My only complaint is that about a month ago they changed the TV station in the lobby from HGTV to a sports channel and frankly I just don't think it is near as welcoming or relaxing. I have asked one of the young people at the counter to change it and she said they were unable to. read more

I've been eating here for well over a year, and they are quickly becoming my go-to chicken place in the Tulsa area. Best price on a big box of tenders. Best deal on a large glass of tea. (32oz. /.99 cents) My personal fave is their bone-in chicken. YOU CHOOSE which pieces. This chain is nothing fancy. They just serve good, crispy chicken. Can't wait for them to open a second Tulsa area location. Hoping it's along the Highway 75, South Corridor. read more
