Both my friend and I commented on the length of time it took to prepare a standard item from their menu in the afternoon. It shouldn't be a production or an imposition to prepare their chicken bites and fries. While I know the manager who brought me my order meant well, it shouldn't be a big deal to tell me that my order is hot. Second -- the condiment rationing continues unabated since the Chicago gang took over. The condiment trays are now kept under the counter. The staff doles out the famous Whataburger ketchup packets as if they are a rare commodity. As for the lemon packets that used to be in the beverage area, those now have to be requested and the staff have to go into the back of the restaurant to find them. The food is ok -- but the stinginess and the speed of service tell me there's better fast food options -- even in a small town.

So, it works for all of us. At times when we feel like a treat, we will order the cinnamon rolls, or the centers. They always seem fresh when we do.
