I love this place, when I get off work I'm always comin' here. I know I'll like it but here's the thing, whoever was just workin' 'bout one hour ago cookin' for some nuggets fries double quarter pounder ONLY mayo and fries. Let me start by sayin': 1- So dry I wanted to cry it tasted like ass 2- Too much mayo (Normally not picky but it was way too much today) 3- When I get a burger do I really want the fuckin' paper on that shit and the burger to be overcooked. Overcooked I can handle, but not the fuckin' paper to be on that shit. Very upset with this order I understand, if it's a honest mistake and yes, I do understand completely. But, that was just upsetting for this to even happen. This is a great McDonalds. If you like McDonalds food, you should be happy with this location. I always order ahead online, and food is usually ready when I get there, and if not it's filled quickly, and order has always been correct (which is huge). They're also a 24 hr store, which makes it nice for night owls. read more

The service here besides morning crew (y'all rock!!) sucks especially evening crew. 95% of the time I order a double cheeseburger no pickles and no mustard I somehow manage to not receive onions on it, or there's mustard on it but usually no onions. So I gotta get the burger remade, but also the evening crew has an issue with serving old/stale food that hadn't sold. There have been plenty of times I've got cold fries or horrible not consumable chicken nuggets. Ontop of that the mangers (besides morning and the guy who runs night crew) sucks especially Samantha Rodriguez who works mostly night crew as a manager, she's been rude and doesn't seem to care about how many times her kitchen staff mess up personalized orders that on the screen only tell you what to put on your burger. To wrap things up the new remodel is absolutely horrible, you gentrified the McDonald's way more than it was, at least the last redesign was comfortable unlike this corporate "Delicious Burgers" tile sign right as you walk in, looks like someone asked Ai to create a McDonald's layout to complete with chipotle or something. best mcdonald's i've ever been too. so good i've stopped going to my local one in giddings because this location put it to shame. everyone was extremely polite, far beyond what i've come to expect from mcdonald's. the wait was short compared to usual mcdonald's lines but the other customers in line were all honking and some got impatient and drove off. this experience makes me think that the rating for this location is only so low because the local population needs an attitude adjustment. i honestly didn't know a mcgriddle could be so tasty. read more

I come here pretty often because I am quite the fast food addict, but the last about 15 times I've came here, it's been not very good. The chicken nuggets have an abnormal amount of fat in them, which is insanely disgusting. The cheeseburgers are usually decent, but I did ask for extra pickles and they gave me 1 pickle lol. I don't get why this establishment gets such a bad rap. I think things have gotten much better since the refurbishment. I've never had any issues with customer service. They have always been friendly and greeted me as I walk through the door. People complaining about a worker wanting to check to see if they have a item, why? Many of this kids are new to the work force. This may be their first job. At least they are looking to find the answer, and not just saying "We don't have that." Lockhart McDonald's seems to get worse every time I visit this location. They either don't know what is on their sandwiches, the promos available, or how to use the app. Read your SOCs. Or better yet the store manager (also the franchise owner per the shift manager) named Darryll (not sure how he spells it) should complete the Franchise Training Program to ensure the people he leaves are in charge of the store for the early evening shift is properly trained. So the guy that took my order in the drive-thru got my order right. I get home and my burger is completely wrong. So I throw it in the bag and left because I forgot to order backup food because they constantly mess up. I was hungry so I didn't grab anything else aka my fries and drink. When I got there I told the guy that he took my order correctly but they completely messed up my burger and he asked me if that was it. I said well I didn't bring my fries but there at home getting cold while I'm here. He said no worries, we'll replace them. When they gave me my fixed burger, I told the girl in the front window about the fries. So the shift manager came up and said he needed my fries to replace them. I was like what? because he did not have a name tag and was wearing crew clothes. He said the cashier was not authorized to give me fries. So I asked him what was he going to do to compensate for my time. He said he said the grill made the burger and not him as well as he wasn't the one that promised to resolve the inconvenience of messed up burger. He then told me he had only been a shift manager for 2 1/2 weeks. Lockhart owner, train your shift managers or promote only your shining stars. He refunded by Homestyle burger which was more than replace the $1.49 for a medium fry for my inconvenience that was offered to me. We all know those fries get cold and soggy quick because he wanted to me go home and get my fries. So he wanted me to make 3 trips (my original, the one to replace my burger, and the one to bring back my fries). Please read "Give'Em the Pickle!" by Bob Farrell. It's taught for managerial customer service training at UT. I worked for one of the best store managers at McDonald's more than 20 years ago. His rule to a successful store were 2 rules. 1. There were five cars ahead of me in the drive-thru. When I paid at the first window, I moved to the second. I was given my drink and told to move to the third window to receive my food. I waited for quite a while and saw the person behind me and six other cars accept their orders. I called the restaurant and said I stayed at the third window when a worker gave me my food. I asked if they forgot about me, and she said no, we are busy. I spoke to the manager, who said the same thing. All I wanted was for them to admit they forgot me. If you make a mistake, just admit it. I again told the manager I just wanted him to acknowledge I was forgotten but he would not say it. I know this is petty but I teach students and I always say if you make a mistake admit it and move on. McDonald's does not train g employees to a vet responsibility and sorry isn't always the appropriate answer. read more

Ordered at the drive through. They have a double lane options for ordering and two windows for pick up. Let's just say the employees there need more practice with that system. We ordered and paid. Got our drinks... was asked to pull up to the next window... we waited.... 7 mins after we paid we were brought the wrong order... they took it back and said... wait a minute.... we waited several minutes while we watched order after order behind us get their orders ... while we still waited. Noone came back to the window to give any info, no order nothing. Finally I decided I needed to go inside and see what was happening, defets the purpose of the drive through if I have to come inside to get my order. I ask the lady at the counter who says they gave my order to the wrong car so they had to remake my order... another 5 mins later and my order was finally ready and correct... but no apology, no bonus apple pie for the trouble... Well, we came in here to eat breakfast after leaving our laundry at G&G. We had a frustrating time ordering because when we asked for hot cakes and sausage the cashier said, "I don't know if we have sausage, let me check," and then she came back, yes we do." Then my fiancé asked for a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich to which the cashier said, "I don't think we have that, let me check," and came back, "yes we do." We went to McDonald's around 11:30 pm we ordered and waited and waited and waited for our food (we were the only people who were waiting the few others already has food). When our food was finally ready the lady said a number we assumed it was ours but since we had to take a number to our table assumed she would bring it since they weren't busy, no she would rather walk to the other side where she could see us and just yell it out while staring at us and only got more loud when we didn't get up. While all this was going on you had three little boys running around inside playing hide in seek on top/under tables running around yelling in the restaurant then playing in the bathrooms only to come running out playing on all the kids games when I discussed with management I was told they're some sanitizing wipe over there.....like I should go clean it...best part is THERE WAS NONE!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! This place does not follow McDonalds policies at all. First visit I was served old stale bread and the second visit they gave me some odd orange colored chicken on my crispy ranch wrap. About the other 100 times I've eaten a ranch snack wrap, the meat was not orange.
