It lacked the richness, spice, and depth that define it. Instead, it felt diluted and unfinished, as if the key elements never made it into the pan. The "curry goat" was even more disappointing. The sauce was thin to the point of being soupy, with little to no curry presence. The dish had no body, no warmth, no layering of flavor just water where there should have been depth. Even the rice was off, adding nothing to salvage the plate. These are foundational dishes in Caribbean cuisine. We got water initially and did not get more until after we got the check. We would have ordered more cocktails or dessert but it just took way too long. Food came out quickly so I don't think it was the kitchen. We had to flag down someone to get the check and then we ended up paying in cash as it took over 15 min for them to come back to let us pay.
