Wonderful hidden gem. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our group of four went for lunch with Alejandra thoughtfully reviewing the menu with us pointing out some of the favorites and local tastes. Each dish was delicious red snapper, smash burger, bikini sandwich, beet salad. Ms Pipers lemonade was incredible as were the caramelized crepes, and basque cheesecake. Would highly recommend Reservations recommended, room is open air or screened in when needed. Fans are plentiful. read more

Whoa. This meal absolutely knocked it out of the park. I think it all started with meeting our server, Taj. I'll call myself out, I couldn't figure out where to check in for our reservation (100% a me problem, not theirs!). The kind gentleman who saved me from wandering through the wrong gate ended up being our server, and his recommendations were spot on all night. We sat in the screened dining area, which I'd definitely recommend unless you're one of the lucky people mosquitoes don't seem to notice. The menu is gorgeous and immediately gets you excited to order. There are so many creative, tempting options that choosing wasn't easy. We started with the tuna crudo, and wow...lights out. One of the best I've had anywhere. For my entrée, I followed Taj's recommendation and ordered the tiger shrimp with the chili oil on the side. Great call. I could add just the right amount of heat without overpowering the incredible red miso sauce. The sourdough served alongside deserves its own shoutout, it was fantastic. My husband had the snapper and loved every bite. The accompanying salad was fresh, bright, and tossed in an outstanding citrus vinaigrette. By the end we were completely stuffed and couldn't squeeze in dessert, which may have been the biggest disappointment of the night. Guess we'll just have to come back. Excellent food, warm hospitality, and a memorable dining experience. Ms. Piper's is absolutely worth a visit. read more

Had dinner here after being discharged from the hospital. It had been five days since I'd eaten a good meal -- this truly felt like the first meal of a new life. Ms. Piper's is right next to the Hampton Inn. The taxi driver recommended it when she dropped me off, and the front desk helped me secure a reservation. I was seated quickly after a pleasant greeting. Even though there were empty tables, the ones that were occupied had smiles and joy on people's faces. The place definitely lives up to its slogan, "share the love" -- I felt it. I started with a cocktail called La Vie en Rose, which was especially fitting since it's one of my favorite songs to sing. My server, Juanjo, was friendly, always smiling, and gave me great recommendations. It was a very relaxing experience. Watching him move around his tables, I noticed he was smiling even while clearing dishes. He moves with vitality and lifts the energy of the whole place. I told him so. The butterfly snapper was beautifully done -- both taste and presentation. The croquettes were tasty with the sauce, and the pepper had just enough spice to remind you it's still a pepper. A good combination. I ended the meal with a cup of rooibos tea. Highly recommended. There are so many dishes to choose from -- and the meal I had was definitely too much for one person! read more

Had a lovely dinner here on a Saturday night. There was really talented live music playing and it felt like an elevated backyard barbecue--be warned though, there are mosquitoes! The food was excellent. We stated with the spinach and corn empanadas which were baked and flavorful. For entrees we ordered the half chicken with coconut rice which was a hearty portion and paired well. The food here is absolutely excellent! We stayed at the hotel and ended up eating there every single night. The butterfly snapper and Picanha steak were standout dishes--incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection. Even the garden salad was fantastic. You can tell everything is exceptionally fresh, which makes sense since the ingredients are locally sourced. If you're looking for a great dinner, I highly recommend checking this place out! We felt incredibly relaxed in this atmosphere and were pleased with our server who made a helpful food recommendation upon request. My husband and I split their smashed burger and some type of cheesy cassava bread. We thought the food was very good, and being from Ohio, we don't typically get to have that type of bread! We landed in grand cayman which was a super easy trip from Chicago. However, we were still hungry and tired like any travel day. I hadn't made any reservations for the first night since I didn't know if we would be up for going out. Or at least I thought so until ms pipers called to confirm our reservation. Our family of 5 agreed that everyone was up for dinner out. Ms pipers was a short cab ride from where we were staying on 7 mile beach. The atmosphere itself is super fun and the live music really added to it. We started with drinks (glass of Reisling for me) and a few appetizers. We shared Mediterranean plate and hamachi (yum) appetizers. For our main entrees 2 of my kids ordered the Smashburger and my son and I both ordered the shrimp with sourdough bread. And my husband went with the Korean bbq ribs which were quite delicious from the few bites I enjoyed. The shrimp was also one of my favorite meals in grand cayman. Everyone wanted dessert, but my son was begging to get home for the bears game so we got the dessert crepes to go which were SO good. Highly recommend if visiting grand cayman! read more

This was our first stop upon arrival to the Caymans. We were shocked that it was a hotel restaurant, but still decided to go. Parking is free and in the guest parking off the hotel. The restaurant is so beautiful! It is a standalone building behind the hotel! It's very modern, clean, upscale, and island outdoor themed. Luckily for me they had a few vegan items. I got the veggies and hummus, which was big enough for two meals! I also got a kombucha, which was sweet and refreshing! All of the windows were open, the fresh air was coming in, and they still had fats for additional cooling. The staff was nice. If I come back to the Caymans I will come back here! read more

We were excited to try this restaurant, which is a couple minute walk from our hotel. Sadly, we were rather disappointed. We ordered the Korean ribs, coconut rice, Korean pancakes, and a couple side dishes - cucumbers and wood fired veggies. For desert, we ordered the banofee (banana with a a meringue and a sauce and another desert I don't recall the name. The food was bland, the coconut rice was dry and overall the food was very underwhelming. They also forgot the ice cream for one of the deserts. For the price, I expected a lot more. Even if there was something I didn't rly like the flavors of, you can tell the quality is there. I feel like they definitely have trained chefs (you know when you think, oh they definitely worked/trained under some good cooks) , my opinion tho. Branzino is a must have. The sauce elevates it to another level. The short ribs are yummily sticky and savory. The burrata is so good with the bread and arugula. We also got a dessert of the crepe. It was soooo good and I usually hate sweet food. Definitely have to split the dessert tho. The happy hour also has good snacks. My favorite had to be the pumpkin humus and bread. This is a very nice restaurant; the best meal we ever had so far here in the island. The service is excellent; Alejandra is so attentive and very personable. The food is excellent too! It's worth the trip to this restaurant. The pan fried branzino has a very light breading but crispy outside and tender and moist inside (just the way I like it. The butterfly red snapper is so delicious. We end our meal with their toasted crepes with dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream. The ambiance is so nice and cozy with live singer performing all through the time we were there. read more

Super cool spot for dinner and drinks! The restaurant, garden and decor are all gorgeous and the live music added a nice touch. Food and service were both solid but I'd be lying if I said I was blown away by either aspect. I would categorize this as a bar with light bites and drinks rather than a dinner spot, mostly because portions were very small for entree prices. This wonderful restaurant has it all: delicious food, great staff, and infinite charm as the fictional Mrs. Piper's cottage decorated with mementos from her world travels. It's a bit hidden and difficult to find, which is appealing. We will definitely be back. read more

All I can say is wow. The flavors that jumped out from the food was incredible. Every single dish was unique, presented beautifully, had some type of Asian Caribbean fusion component. The cocktails were also very different. I always get branzino if it's on the menu this particular one was then lightly breaded with potato au gratin I think. My son who is 11 had the Korean short rib and they were the best I have ever had and that includes the many Korean restaurants in my area. My daughter had the kafta kabobs and again unique and so much flavor. The funny thing is that the food came out pretty fast not on island time at all. The ambience is like you are having a meal outside of someone's house, but it's at a Hampton Inn, the hotel owner made a terrific choice to make this a must visit on Grand Cayman. read more

Unfortunately, I think Yelp steered me wrong here. Given the reviews, I was expecting a first-class experience. But that didn't happen for us. The ambience is great. Nice little secluded garden setting. Service was good. But the food just didn't hold up its end of the bargain. We started with a couple apps. Perhaps the best dish of the night was their burrata with mortadella. The burrata was nice and creamy. It paired well with the mortadella. We also ordered the cheese bread, which was actually a few dense dough balls with dipping sauce. Calling it bread is a bit of a stretch. For main course we shared the Korean ribs, the rigatoni pasta and the burger. The burger was very good. However, the ribs were very dry and were served only lukewarm. The rigatoni pasta had a nice sauce, but the pasta itself was severely overcooked. Almost mushy. read more

Food was decent, though not great. Service was better than the food, though still not the best. We had received a voucher from an Airline to eat at the hotel restaurant during our stay because of a flight change, though the restaurant did not honor that voucher; the hotel and airline did not inform us that we could only use the voucher for dinner nor that we had to use the voucher before we checked out, and this information was not provided on the voucher. Unfortunately, that meant the restaurant would not honor the voucher. Nonetheless, the manager did provide a 20% discount, which was appreciated; if it weren't for the discount, I would have considered this a 2 star rating based on the food quality, issue with our voucher, and communication with the manager prior to bringing us the final bill. If you are staying at the hotel with a voucher from an airline, be sure to clarify with the restaurant and the front desk what the conditions for the voucher are. If you choose to eat here, expect a decent experience that is convenient if staying at the Hampton; I do, however, believe there is better food on the island for a similar price--especially considering that issues of miscommunication between the restaurant and hotel might render any vouchers or discounts you have based on your stay useless. read more

Food was wonderful. Best we had on the island. Waiter was superb. Why the poor rating - I was so disappointed. I made the resy 41 days prior. It was our last night on the island. When we arrived, the hostess took us to a table for 2 by the swinging door to the back of the kitchen. When I inquired if there was anything else available she offered us a table 2 feet away ( other side of the swinging door ) equally as close to door and said we could have our pick of those two tables. Our waiter was there instantly to get our drink order. I went to the restroom. Our waiter was so attentive it couldn't have been more than 5 minutes after we sat ( 2 minutes is probably correct ). There were 2 tables for 2 and one for three by the bar/pool/veranda. If a resy 41 days out warrants the worst seat in the place when other options were available, I can't recommend to others read more

Ms. Piper's is a GORGEOUS restaurant that is ensconced by beautiful landscaping, flowers, and trees in a space that is so uniquely beautiful. During my time in Cayman, we came for dinner (made reservations via OpenTable) and decided to eat in the garden, which was SUCH a great choice because it was absolutely stunning. Since this location seems like it's an Instagram haven, I wasn't sure how the food would be, but oh my god was it as beautiful as its surroundings - and absolutely DELICIOUS. We did some shared apps - the tuna crudo (that had an amazing wasabi mayo), cassava cheese bread that came with an AMAZING roasted red pepper aioli, and my personal favorite, the mushroom and cheese croquettes with a smoked tomato aioli (Ms. Piper's aioli game is STRONG!). That was enough food to pick on, but we also ordered the burger, which was DELICIOUS and hugely portioned. The drinks at Ms. Piper's are also incredibly and really unique. I was a particularly big fan of the Iconic Women signature cocktails - all cocktails that are inspired by women from all over the world who had an impact on breaking the mold and being strong, fearless women. I had the Selena (Patron silver, pomegranate juice, hibiscus and agave syrup, and a peach liqueur) and it was PERFECTLY balanced - not too sweet, and really refreshing. Danny, our server for the evening was also excellent - he was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional, which added to our experience fully. Ms. Piper's is somewhere I will continue to go again and again during visits to Cayman - the atmosphere, service, food, and drinks is remarkable and somewhere I can't recommend more highly for an all around amazing experience. read more
