Wonderful location right in the water. We enjoyed our lunch and had excellent service. Affordable for the area.

Hands down the best meal we were able to enjoy on our most recent visit to Grand Cayman…read more Unbelievable ambience and lighting with food to match. We were a larger party of 11 and got a prime spot on the beach literally 10 feet from the softly lapping sea water. Our server had the sense to get the kids orders in and served to ensure a delightful experience for the adults. Make sure to peruse the specialty drink menu that can be crafted with our without alcohol. Our food choices roamed the entire menu and everyone loved their meals so feel free to take a suggestion or go your own route. I had a perfectly cooked burger that left me stuffed and satisfied. Expect resort pricing but trust me that the memorable meal you eat will substantiate the price. Truly a one-of-a-kind meal that you'll remember for years to come.

At first, I wasn't even sure where the restaurant was because we had to walk past a beautiful building with rental rooms. But once we turned the corner and saw the restaurant, it literally took my breath away. There's outdoor seating that leads right to the beach, which looked incredible, but we chose to sit in another outdoor area surrounded by lush greenery and trees....and it was still such a beautiful experience. My friend ordered the caviar martini, and I had a taste & the caviar was absolutely divine. The service was quick, attentive, and kind, which made the experience even better. We both ordered our steaks medium, and they came out perfectly cooked. No notes needed. I also got lobster, macaroni and cheese and broccoli. The lobster macaroni and cheese was extremely creamy m, cheesy just enough and the noodles were shells which is always a plus for me. The broccoli is just plain steamed broccoli. If you're ever in the Cayman Islands, this place is a must.

The food is definitely the highlight here. The drinks were just okay and didn't really stand out, so it's probably best to stick with wine or beer if you're ordering beverages. That said, the atmosphere makes up for it. The location is very cool and relaxed, and it's an easy walk from Camana Bay, which is a big plus. All in all, a very nice spot with solid food and a convenient, enjoyable location.

It lacked the richness, spice, and depth that define it. Instead, it felt diluted and unfinished, as if the key elements never made it into the pan. The "curry goat" was even more disappointing. The sauce was thin to the point of being soupy, with little to no curry presence. The dish had no body, no warmth, no layering of flavor just water where there should have been depth. Even the rice was off, adding nothing to salvage the plate. These are foundational dishes in Caribbean cuisine. To miss the mark on both so completely is not a small oversight it's a fundamental failure in execution. I've included photos for context, because the presentation reflects the experience.

Everyone was nice and the restaurant was cute and view was gorgeous! The food was ok. I got the fruit platter with cottage cheese and it had nice fresh fruit , I also got the breakfast quesadilla and it was good. My husband got the waffle and did not finish it, which is very unusual for him. He said it was tasteless and mushy. He wanted to order avocado toast but they were out of avocado! lol. As we were leaving another group was just being served their lunches and they looked and smelled amazing, so, maybe we just ordered wrong and or hit it at an off time. It's definitely still worth the stop for the cute little place and beautiful view!

There was no wait and the staff were prompt and very friendly. Drinks appeared quickly and when it came time for food everything was perfect. We started with conch fritters, not too crispy, not soft, just golden delicious balls of conch goodness. I had the curry grouper and found it perfectly cooked and seasoned. My son had a wahoo steak and it also was perfectly cooked and spectacularly seasoned. The plantain sides were not too starchy, slightly sweet and a good compliment to the meals.

My husband and I dined here twice during our stay at The Kimpton and loved being right on the beach listening to stellar live music. We ate an assortment of tacos in addition to churros, elote and ordered margs to wash it all down. We thought overall, the tacos were mediocre to good. My husband loved the elote, and I thought it was fair. If you check this place out, I recommend coming on a Tuesday when you're allowed to order the tacos a la carte so that you can try a variety versus having to order three of the same type. My favorites were the tuna and chicken tacos. The churros are tasty and don't even need the chocolate sauce!

We went specifically for the pina coladas, and they did not disappoint! They were strong and creamy! It was frozen so it was perfect for the warm weather! The staff was great, they were happy, but didn't come by too much. There is a parking lot close by if you do not stay at the hotel, so no problems parking. My only concern, and the reason for giving it 4 stars was the food portion. We did order food for dinner one day, and the portions were extremely tiny. Especially for the price. I would say come here for the drinks, and go elsewhere for the food. If I ever come back to Cayman Island. I will come back here for sure!

We were pleasantly surprised by their outdoor dining area right on the water and the tarpon swimming along side the deck (fun fact if you have kids, they feed the tarpon at 7:30pm and if you order seafood, you can chuck your bones and leftovers into the water for the fish). Service was quick and friendly. We were seated promptly, orders taken, and food delivered all in reasonable time. We ordered the conch chowder and calamari to start and both were very good. The fried snapper came with escovitch on top (pickled onions and carrots) along with beans and rice, veggies, and plantains. The whole fish was perfectly fried and crisp. The plantains were a surprisingly nice touch of sweetness and the escovitch added some extra flavor to the fish. Kids got the shrimp linguini and fried shrimp which they both liked (and enjoyed tossing the tails in the water for the tarpon to finish off). All of this was chased down by a caybrew bottle. A great meal at a reasonable price in a beautiful spot. Note that this restaurant is close to the cruise port so on port days, it's likely very busy during lunch.

Any time staff is friendly at a busy port of call restaurant/bar, I have to respect them. The atmosphere with seating right next to the ocean is a delight. The Meh The food was ok, but not worth stopping for. I don't recall what we had, but it was just average. One reason for taking lowering the rating is the fans, while effective were turbo-loud.
