It lacked the richness, spice, and depth that define it. Instead, it felt diluted and unfinished, as if the key elements never made it into the pan. The "curry goat" was even more disappointing. The sauce was thin to the point of being soupy, with little to no curry presence. The dish had no body, no warmth, no layering of flavor just water where there should have been depth. Even the rice was off, adding nothing to salvage the plate. These are foundational dishes in Caribbean cuisine. We were a larger party of 11 and got a prime spot on the beach literally 10 feet from the softly lapping sea water. Our server had the sense to get the kids orders in and served to ensure a delightful experience for the adults. Make sure to peruse the specialty drink menu that can be crafted with our without alcohol. Our food choices roamed the entire menu and everyone loved their meals so feel free to take a suggestion or go your own route. I had a perfectly cooked burger that left me stuffed and satisfied. Expect resort pricing but trust me that the memorable meal you eat will substantiate the price. Truly a one-of-a-kind meal that you'll remember for years to come.

At first, I wasn't even sure where the restaurant was because we had to walk past a beautiful building with rental rooms. But once we turned the corner and saw the restaurant, it literally took my breath away. We both ordered our steaks medium, and they came out perfectly cooked. No notes needed. I also got lobster, macaroni and cheese and broccoli. The lobster macaroni and cheese was extremely creamy m, cheesy just enough and the noodles were shells which is always a plus for me. The broccoli is just plain steamed broccoli. The food arrives quickly, there is a full bar with great service. It is much quieter than the upstairs bar!! Be careful, the boards on the walkway to Mimi's dock bar, and the boards at Mimi's dock bar have been replaced and unfortunately, there are a lot of variations in height and fit resulting in many trip hazards!
