Great for catering! I do a lot a breakfast and lunch meetings at offices in the Slidell area, and this Chick-Fil-A is my GO-TO spot. Most of the time I call them 30 minutes to an hour before I get there (with an order to feed anywhere from 15 to 25 people) and they always execute flawlessly. The food is hot and packed up as I arrive, they're great with the "little things" that make a big difference - plates, utensils, the little flavored creamers for the coffee, etc. The staff is professional and courteous and yet it all comes at fast food prices. Try ordering something like that at other fast food places and see what happens. I DARE YOU! I LOVE this chickfila! The service is always fast, and the dining room is always cleaned. Really clean restrooms also. The older couple that help out in the dining room are such sweet people (just don't bring your drink in the play area, like the rules say) and are ALWAYS helpful when I have my 19 month old daughter with me. The counter people are kinda pushy when it comes to getting your food out. I usually have to situate my daughter at the table before I can go grab my tray and they yell my name about 5 times before I go up there, kinda annoying, but I guess they want me to really have my door right at that moment. My daughter and I come here at least once a week. She loves the grilled chicken, and I love the fact that they healthier than their neighbor fast food place. read more

I'm going to rate this Chick-fil-A with 5 stars even though I won't be going back. It's a fast food thing, not a business thing. I just decided to finally see what all the fuss is about as the lunch lines at every CFA are always backed up into the streets. And the lunch by fast food standards was good. I got the peach iced tea which was great (I may come in once in a while just for that). And though the lines WERE long, it moved about as fast as it could and once I got to the cashier, I got my order VERY fast. I am mostly writing this review about my cashier Kaitlin. While still standing in line, I got the chance to observe her with a customer ahead of me. At first I couldn't tell but I quickly realized that the gentleman was hearing impaired and Kaitlin was communicating with him in ASL. First of all, for some reason, I am fascinated by ASL and you just don't see that every day. And secondly, it's very impressive for someone who works with the public to have that skill and Kaitlin has such an engaging smile and was just so pleasant and charming to watch. I was on a kick for chik fil a at least twice week during my move from Cali to Louisiana. Unfortunately my last craving landed me here and when I got home my usual chicken sandwich had globs of fat still on it. It was very much all I needed to get over my obsession.. I guess I should start by saying I LOVE Chick-fil-a in general, but this one does seem to be too busy (which is a good thing-right?) for my taste. I've come in here many times to utter chaos...people standing at the counters waiting on their food, while the customers in line (by the way, there is no line...just shove your way past others to order) can't order because the counter is blocked. Every time I come to this Chick-Fil-A I've gotten an incorrect order, whether it's been a missing milkshake (and a crying child the whole way back to pick it up), or a pickle on a sandwich that I specifically said NO PICKLE on...twice!!! I much prefer the Chick-fil-a store out in the mall across town...it's way smaller, never seems busy, and the staff even knows us and our orders....If you can, skip the Chick-fil-a on Gause and hit the one at Northshore Mall, you'll be much happier!!! read more

I would give this location 1 Star but the food is still good. The SERVICE IS NOT GOOD! All locations are busy not just this one. They can't handle the business. I use the mobile app ordering for speed and convenience. However, here they do have designed parking like other locations. When I went the mobile pick up area, I just stood there until I stopped an employee and let her know I was there. She said my food wasn't ready which is why I complete the order before I even get into the parking lot. I'm okay that the food wasn't ready. I was taken back by NO ONE acknowledging my presence. 12/21/2019 at approximately 12:10pm. I'm putting the time and date info because the people that manage this establishment need to go back over the video surveillance and verify that what I write in this review is accurate. I arrived at this location at approximately and entered the line behind the person in front of me at the counter. At that time there were no other customers in line in front of me. Before I entered I asked the young girl standing by the door if she was waiting in line before I realized she worked there. She said no so I continued behind the customer ordering at the counter. She at that point asked me if she could help me with anything and I stated that I was just waiting to order. As I was waiting behind the customer that was order, the next associate (Omangi) appeared and motioned for another customer that walked up after I did and waved them to her location which required them to walk right passed me. From my observation this associate knew I was waiting but decided to pass me up anyway. It was at that time that I realized that there was a snake type line that I was suppose to enter. Now I understand this but I had never been to this location before and wasn't familiar with the layout. I then looked around and stated out loud to the young girl standing at the door "Am I not standing in the right place" She then looked around and informed me that I needed to be at the snake type line. So I complied and eventually was served by another associate. There were several opportunities for at least two associates to realize that I wasn't complying with the "rules" to be served here and simply request that I wait at the appropriate spot. The first attendant that knew I was waiting as the next customer but passed me up anyway, and the young girl at the door who I assume was there to properly direct traffic to the proper location. Neither associate performed their job appropriately or in a welcoming manner. Someone could have used their heads here but everyone failed. This is certainly not the type of reception nor treatment I have come to expect at a Chick-Fil-A location and I will never return to this location. read more

Chick-fil-A will always get an A+ in my book. One thing about this specific location that stuck out to me was the manager, Harold, who was EXTREMELY polite. I come to chick fil a for salads. Now when they switched the salad menu to what they currently serve, I was really upset. To know me is to know I do not like changes I thrive on consistency. So I finally gave in and tried the market salad with the grilled chicken strips, fruit (apples and strawberries), and blue cheese crumbles. It is actually very tasty. We were driving back from Orange Beach Alabama and placed an online order pick up at 9:30 am. The chick fil a app said lunch items would take an additional 15 min to prepare during breakfast time. I placed our order early to ensure the fries that we were ordering with our breakfast would be ready. (My daughter has a gluten dairy allergy and fries are one of the only things she can have at chick fil a) We arrived at the restaurant at 10:10 and they refused to make the fries until 10:30. Worst experience! So disappointed. Had to wait forever to even order because the iPad died. Then she said aw well I guess the line will back up. Finally someone got on the normal speaker and couldn't hear anything I was saying. Then it was repeated back to me wrong over and over again. Then I get to the window and it was still wrong. Service was extremely slow especially with drinks/ milkshakes... not to mention milkshakes not even fully blended--huge chunks of fruit preventing straw usage is extremely annoying. Every time I've been to this Chick-fil-A there is always good service! The workers are just amazing and just know how to put a smile on your face! I give this place 5 stars because it never disappoints me when I go. The lines maybe long at times but they go by quickly and once you get to the window your food is ready to go and fresh! Even when I decide to go inside, I'm usually in there for 5 minutes and then back to my car, by the time I get done paying they are handing me my food. I love going here just knowing all the workers are positive and happy because that is usually rare to find. Also, every time I've been, they never messed up my food everything is correct each and every time. They always have special events going on like kids' night, dressing up like a cow to get free food, or some mornings getting free breakfast.
