Have to open by saying that I absolutely LOVE chicken wings. Hot wings are Fun Food and it takes a lot to ruin that for me. Thus, I admit my bias. That said, I absolutely love the wings from BWW. I always look and consider the burgers and sandwiches. (The Bird Dawgs look fantastic!) I had a salad once and it was good, but I always seem to get the wings. The sauce selection is great. The Thai Curry is my absolute favorite wing flavor anywhere, at any wing place. I have never found another that surpasses it. I get it every time, then I try one of the other sauces so I don't get stuck in a rut. I must say, they are all pretty good. The Caribbean Jerk is very well done. Most of the seasonal limited-time flavors have been good. The restaurant itself is pretty typical of the BWWs I have been to. It is large and high-ceilinged so it is loud and echoey even if the crowd is small. On a game day (Saints) it is deafeningly so. The service is hit or miss. We have had wonderful service and only so-so. Never what I would call truly bad though. There was a time when the service here was sloooooowwww but that seems to have turned around. The draft beer selection is very good - I have to respect any place that has Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap. Getting takeout has been painless. Went to this location on a Monday night. It was not packed but fairly busy. There were 3 servers. The server we were sat with had ONE other table. (Rochelle is her name I believe) We originally sat for about 5 minutes before she came over and said "Im not ignoring yall just busy". Couple minutes later she comes back and asks for drink orders and if we want apps. We put in drinks and said no so, she brings drinks fairly quickly and then says I have to check on something at the bar then I'll be right back. 5 minutes pass and we haven't seen her. Another 5 pass and we see her standing by the kitchen talking to the host. After about 5 minutes of watching her chat with the host she disappeared into the kitchen. Few minutes later she comes back to the table directly next to the us (the only other table she had). Then leaves the dining room again. Doesn't say anything to us or acknowledge that we are waiting to place orders or just to be noticed. We eventually asked another server if he could take over and he was busy with 3/4 other tables and was honest and said it would be a little bit of a wait. We walked out. As we were leaving she made a snide remark to the server we asked to take over. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Waited for over 20 minutes for nobody to acknowledge us or even get our orders. Wouldn't recommend this location to anyone! Additionally: she had her vape hanging from her neck. This BWW location is the Absolute worst dining experience of my life. This BWW location will not be open much longer, mark my words. This location has no management whatsoever. My work associate and I decide to stop in here for some lunch. It was lunchtime on a Thursday. For lunch time on a Thursday there was not a lot of other patrons at this location. We waited to be seated. There were no clean tables available, so we had to wait for the server to clean one. Not a great start but hey I have worked in the food industry before; this sort of thing happens. We then are seated, and the first thing our server makes us aware of is how long the wait is for food to leave the kitchen. I should have taken this warning more serious. We decided to row the dice. We try to place our orders for wings and wing sauces, but they were out of the two types of sauces that we wanted to try. We foolishly sat there waiting for our food for over an hour. Our server come to our table and claimed that another server grabbed our food and gave it to another table, I doubt this was even true. My work associate and I had to get back to work for a meeting that started for 2:00 pm. Our server never came to check on us, which is the first chapter of the server handbook. After several failed attempts at getting her attention, I was finally able to get her to notice me. When she found time out of her busy schedule to talk acknowledge me, I told her that I needed to get back to my office and I have been waiting now for over an hour and a half. I am going to need 2 things. I need my food comped and I need to take the food to-go. Another ten more minutes went by, and she finally brought us a to-go box with wings that had no sauce on it. They took 1 hour and 30 minutes to serve us wings with no sauce. I will never return to this location again. I will never recommend this location to anyone I like. If you are the owner or manager of this store, you should be ashamed of yourself. You have let your customers down, you have let your employees down, and you have let yourself down. It seems like it has gotten a little better recently, but the service still tends to be on the slow side. The food is very good however. Since I like spicy food and my wife does not, I can get my wings with Mango Habenero, Hot or Hot BBQ sauce and she can get hers with no sauce at all. Everyone wins! Our wings and ultimate nachos came out cold; and the wings were definitely not flavored "Hot" as we ordered- there was much more heat to them. This BWW is really the only one I've ever been to, so if you're a BWW fan and you've been to a bunch around the area, consider that this is the only one I've known. We used to come here all the time because of their beer. It was always fresh and always cold. When we do come here now, it's still always fresh and always cold and they have many good brews on tap. This restaurant is always clean, especially by the bar area, which is where I always sit. It is kept clean and even if you're not actually AT the bar, they hire attentive bartenders that will make sure you're well taken care of. The grub here is pretty decent. They've rotated quite a few of the really good menu items I used to like, but there's something on that menu for everyone. Their wings are sometimes hit or miss, which is why I don't give this place 5 stars. It just seems that sometimes, the wings are tasty and plump and fresh right out of the kitchen, but the last couple of times I've ordered wings, they were scrawny and had obviously been sitting somewhere before they brought them out. That's one reason why I haven't been back there. But... my "other" wing place stopped serving sings all week and only does so on Tuesdays, so now, I might have to go back to BWW for my fix. The sauces for the wings are really good. That's what I like. The bartenders will get to know you and when you come in often enough, they'll know how to take care of you. Like... when I say I want chili cheese fries with enough chili to float a battleship, they will come out with a generous portion of chili on those fries and that's awesome. They don't skimp on that kind of stuff. And, of course, if you want to watch the game on huge TV screens, they have that too. Also, the parking is right outside and it's in a large lot, so you won't be fighting anyone over a spot at this place. That's a plus. Their bar area is also REALLY good for groups, so don't be afraid to pull a couple tables together. We used to do a weekly gathering of up to a dozen people with no problems. Came for ufc night. Place was busy. But they were outmanned and didn't have enough staff working the bar. Long waits on drinks. Bathrooms not super clean. They over charged my friend and under charged me. No big deal. Manager seemed overloaded as she ran around with her head cut off. The one thing that saved them from me chopping them to pieces for the food being cold and long wait times was the female bartender. White girl blondish brown hair. She literally ran circles around her coworkers and double checked and made sure our drinks were right. The male bartender just couldn't keep up. Period. He was slow pouring drinks, beers weren't poured right and he seemed to be in 3rd gear. Dude it's fight night. Time to find that 5th gear. Manager; don't drink so much freakin Red Bull. This location of Buffalo Wild Wings often has a pretty long waiting time and it a bit smaller than most others I've visited. But when I want buffalo wings, Buffalo Wild Wings is what I crave. I think their mild or medium buffalo flavor is perfect. I also really like the Mango Habanero when I want something different and really spicy. I usually order to-go (on the phone or through the app) and come pick up at the designated time they give me. As long as it's an "off time" - not during a sport event or dinner rush, it's good. One night, arriving at the designated time (40 min. after ordering), I waited an additional hour to pick up my order. In their defense, it is difficult to predict times during prime rush hour during a sporting event. Customer service was great but the wing were not what they use to be. They were small which I know they can't control what comes in the truck. I asked for all flat traditional wet for mine and my husbands. There was almost no sauce... I also got the buffalo chips with cheese and there was barely any cheese?! Are they in short supply of condiments or something?? Other than the food the place is very inviting with all of the TVs. I mean what 90s kid wouldn't love that place.
