Great service, friendly employees and clean place. They also honor the military. The burgers are juicy, fries are crunchy and the shakes especially the strawberry are amazing. Great place to choose for lunch or dinner. read more

**Five Guys Review** If you're craving a classic American burger experience, **Five Guys** is a top choice. Known for its juicy burgers, customizable toppings, and generous portions, it delivers an old-school feel with modern quality. **Food Quality**: The burgers are always fresh, never frozen, and cooked to perfection with a nice sear. What sets Five Guys apart is the freedom to fully customize your burger with a wide array of toppings, from the basics like lettuce and tomato to grilled onions, mushrooms, and jalapeños. Their patties are hearty and full of flavor, with the right balance of meat and seasoning. **Fries**: The fries are another highlight. Hand-cut and cooked in peanut oil, they're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You get a huge serving, often spilling out of the cup into the bag, making it a perfect accompaniment to the meal. **Service & Atmosphere**: Service at Five Guys is typically quick and efficient, though the made-to-order approach means you may have to wait a little. The atmosphere is casual and straightforward, focused on delivering great food without the frills. The open kitchen layout allows you to see the food being prepared, adding to the transparency. **Price**: Five Guys is slightly more expensive than your average fast-food joint, but the quality and portion sizes justify the price. The freshness of the ingredients and generous portions ensure you're getting your money's worth. **Overall**: Five Guys is an excellent choice for those seeking a no-nonsense, customizable burger experience. While it may not be the cheapest option, the quality of the food and the freedom to make it exactly how you like it set it apart from many other burger chains. read more

Five Guys - Burgers Near Me - Slidell, Louisiana

We were coming from the New Orleans airport headed to Ms it was around 9:30 so we decided to get something quick & needed protein The couple with us suggested Five Guys. I've never been to a Five Guys before, I know it's a crime. Our friends showed us how to order. I went for the regular cheeseburger (2 patties) with grilled mushrooms and onions, mustard, and ketchup. Comes with free toppings. My answer would be, have you ever watched the Food Channel when they are giving a review? When they are describing something they love and the angels start singing well that was my moment. It was so oi and gooey. The cheese, onions, and mushrooms were good on the burger. It was time for them to close and they were patient with us finishing. I would highly recommend going by and enjoying a great burger. Enjoy read more

I am about to unleash the secret of the best way to eat at Five Guys. If you're interested, keep reading. If not, get to stepping. Years ago I heard rumors of this amazing burger chain that was expanding like wildfire. Like many things people rant and rave about, when I finally had a Five Guy's burger, I was majorly underwhelmed. It's ok for a fast food burger and all, but come on people, Whataburger kicks their gluteus maximus. So I already told you the burger is just ok. What is the secret? Standby whodi, I am about to tell you. The secret to Five Guys is to skip the bun. Hold up. Wait. Skip the bun? You heard me right the first time. Here is the secret. Let's say you find yourself working in New Orleans East and you want a quick meal that won't get all over your clothes. Get online, download the fiveguys app, and order a burger or hot dog exactly like you want it, and click no bun (bowl). They will make the burger exactly like you like, but you can eat it with a fork and a knife. You won't even miss the bun. Trust me. SO now that I have explained the secret of FG, I'll fill you in on this particular location. Parking can be a bit difficult as the lot services several other businesses. Ordering online is a great way to avoid the lunch rush. Bathrooms are clean and single seater so you can wash your hands in peace. Maybe it is just me but the people in this location stare at me as if I am an alien. I've been here about three times in the past couple of months. It never fails. I walk in and people just stare like they can tell I am from the westbank and am not good enough to be in Slidell. I just stare back and they usually avert their gaze. I doubt you'll have this problem unless you are a westbanker. If you would of asked me a few years ago if I would be a FG regular I would've thought you were crazy. Now that I know the secret though, I'm a fan. read more

WAY Overpriced, and quality is down the past few years. If you're charging these prices it better be on point every time, and it's not.

One of the best burgers around always fresh and hot great fries. A little on the pricey side but tastes great one of my favorite places to go too. read more

It's been 5 years since I've had a 5 Guys Burger. I got the little cheeseburger, which was good and fresh. I am glad they posted the calories: 610 calories. Husband got double bacon cheeseburger which was huge. It is 920 calories. We split a small fries and it was plenty for both of us. They were fresh and delicious. Drinks are self serve, with refills. Cashier was friendly, and we got our order served correctly. The restaurant was clean, and lots of places to sit. Good thing since about 20 people came in after us! read more

Overpriced. Overhyped. I don't get it ya'll. The fries were good, I'll give Five Guy's that. (1 star) The atmosphere here is chill. I'll give Five Guy's that. (Star #2) But the burger. The burger isn't all that. It was full of gristle (gross) and greasy. I love a big, juicy cheeseburger with all the toppings I can get as much as the next guy (girl) but damn, Five Guy's. Drain the grease off a little before you slap it on that bun. And the gristle. I can not even go there. I'm recoiling just thinking about it. I mean, disgusting. I'm happy to see this new location in the Slidell area but if I go back it'll be for the fries only. read more

On the subject of their food. Bland burgers. Awesome fries. Now on to the problem with this place. On August 31st, I went to FG with my son to eat. After we finished and were leaving, a female employee called me over and asked me a highly inappropriate question. She asked, "Is your son autistic or OCD?" Out of the blue. No prompting. I find that line of questioning unprofessional. I told her no, but then she said that one of the other employees has OCD, and pointed him out to me. Seriously? Is this the type of employee you want working for you? I will never set foot in that store again. read more

Love that the food is freshly prepared and so many options to make the burger just the way you like it. I would argue that Five Guys has the best french fries in town, as well! Love mine seasoned and with malt vinegar! read more

Not sure why this place refuses curbside pick up, especially since this place has too many tables close together. Not safe for those of us who was trying to stay healthy. Such poor company policy. Disappointing. read more

Great burger at a reasonable price. Hand made right. in front of you with fresh, not frozen, French Fries. The only thing that could make it better, IHO, is if they served fresh Onion Rings. read more

Today, I went to Five Guys around 1pm. The store was really clean and kinda busy. But it was flowing as someone who works in the industry it was great to see everyone communicating and work with great attitudes. I actually ate here last night as well which made me come back to get more hot fresh food! Great job! read more

I went at 2:21pm for lunch and the cashier was very rude. Very aggressive and agitated for no reason. It was a very off putting experience. Fries were cold as well as my burger. There was a special needs women behind me and he was very rude when asking why she didn't have a mask on. She clearly did not have one so to ask "ma'am do you have a mask on !?" Was a clearly dumb question and to ask her in the middle of taking my order was very rude. Also when the Cashier handed me my drink I grabbed a lid and a straw and was walking to the machine to make my drink. Then the cashier is yelling "Sir ! Sir ! Sir!" At me I turned around and the Cashier asked me "did you grab the correct lid?" I'm not understanding why this cashier is the way he is but I don't think he should be talking to customers. None the less I am very disappointed and don't not see myself visiting this location again. read more

The service was good and the food came out pretty quick! My little sister and I ordered regular fries, but they gave us way much more that spilled all over the bag; however, I don't mind those extra fries! :) the place as a whole could definitely look into doing some renovation. I ordered their little cheese burger and it was top notch! I didn't want anything too "extra," but nothing too plain! It was just perfect and it hit the spot! read more

This is the 3rd time I came to this particular 5 guys and they "forgot" to put grilled onions on my burger. Literally every time I come here I only ask for mayonnaise and grilled onions on my burger. It's not that hard. It's probably because one of the little girl's working there thinks she has beef with me or something, and she was the one fixing my sandwhich. But guess what little girl? I don't argue with children; the only beef I want from this store is the one on my burger thank you! read more

Tonight I was pretty disappointed with the service here. I understand how busy it can get but putting someone on hold for 10 minutes and then picking up the phone and just hanging up is not the best way to do business. read more

Fries were good. The whole place would've been a lot better without one ignorant employee. The young guy on the grill with gold hoop earrings in both ears isn't the right one for the job. Rudely asking people several customers back in the line what they were getting while people are trying to place their orders. HELLO STICK TO THE GRILL LET THE CASHIER HANDLE IT. The entire time i was in there all i could hear was his loudmouth gawking over irrelevant topics. I don't know about y'all but i can handle noise but for the sake of the people in there. he should've used his inside voice. Next time i'll order online to bypass loud and rude employees read more

This place is so cool atmosphere is great. Missing TV's but it's OK. Good music. Burgers are great no extra charge for toppings there are tons of toppings including jalepenos A1 sauce hot sauce grilled mushrooms and onions. There fries still have the peeling on it which is awesome and there is 2 ways to get them regular or Cajun. I love the Cajun. When you get your order they give you a cup of fries and they dump more in the bag so you definitely get your money worth. I wish they had one closer to where I live but when I go out of town I look for five guys. read more

Last night Enjoyed a single cheeseburger- it was cooked just right. Clean location and friendly service

30 minute wait for an online order of 3 burgers. 8 others walked in, ordered, and got food before me. Don't order online.

Although it was packed and took longer than usual to receive my one cheeseburger, i havent had 5 guys in a while either but glad to say it was worth the wait! Probably the best burger ive ever had. I just ate an just talking about another one has me salivating... Good stuff. Will deff be back! read more

Gross Yuck Flies Everywhere. Waited in line several minutes at lunch time just to order. Overpriced $6 burgers. Waited a looooong time for the food. If you're getting it to go, and the tables are full, there is no good place to wait. Customers were constantly trying to get past or around me to reach the restrooms or drink machines. After several more minutes of waiting, I moved over by the food prep area, which is on display behind a short see-thru panel. There were about 15 burgers all laid out and made except they were missing their meat patties. Buns full of mayo, lettuce, bacon, and other toppings were laid out on the counter for a long time. 2 employees were crowding the griddle, trying to cook all those patties. This was the lunch hour so you would think they would have been more prepared with meat. As I waited, a fly buzzed in front of my nose. Then I noticed it landed on top of an open bun covered with condiments. I watched 3 flies dance around on everyone's burgers while I waited. I started thinking, Yuck I don't know if I'm going to be able to eat here after watching the flies have free access to the food prep area. The burger assembler was watching the flies too. He quietly moved his mustard bottle towards the flies and bumped the counter, causing all the flies to spring up into the air for a moment, before landing on the food again 5 seconds later. I thought, Okay, none have landed on my burger yet, so I'll wait and see. Someone quickly placed the meat on my burger, but didn't wrap it up, and turned away to attend the griddle again. Immediately a fly landed on my lettuce. I watched it walk a big semi-circle around my bun top, all over my lettuce and mayo. Then it flew over and started waltzing on my burger meat too. I went to the counter for a refund and was told I'd have to wait to speak to a manager. Just getting the refund took another 7 minutes! They couldn't refund it to cash since the general manager had chosen the 12 o'clock lunch rush to make a run to the bank (something you never do, if you're in the food service business), so they had to give me a totally useless gift card, which I guess I will have to throw away. read more

Today I went into Five Guys. I called in an order. My experience was not good. I go up to the register and tell them the name on my order. Instead of my name showing up it is another name that person who took my order put in the computer. I decided to check my food before I left b/c the last time I was there I got home and my order was wrong. Here again it was wrong. This time is was the fries. I ordered Cajun fries and was given plain fries. I tell the server my fries are wrong and he asks me if I would take some seasonings to put on the fries. I told him no I want what I ordered. He gets an attitude and tells me well he was just asking. He then puts some fries in the bag throw it on the counter all the while having an attitude. I promptly took my food and left.I get to the car and the fries were greasy and warm not even hot. While I waiting on my food a white customer brought back his fries b/c they were mushy. Do not go here. Especially if you are a person of color. The only person on color working there was sweeping the floor. They are not friendly and they have not gotten my order right at all. Today was it for me. read more
