It's been 5 years since I've had a 5 Guys Burger. I got the little cheeseburger, which was good and fresh. I am glad they posted the calories: 610 calories. Husband got double bacon cheeseburger which was huge. It is 920 calories. We split a small fries and it was plenty for both of us. They were fresh and delicious. Drinks are self serve, with refills. Cashier was friendly, and we got our order served correctly. The restaurant was clean, and lots of places to sit. Good thing since about 20 people came in after us!

Overpriced. Overhyped. I don't get it ya'll. The fries were good, I'll give Five Guy's that. (1 star) The atmosphere here is chill. I'll give Five Guy's that. (Star #2) But the burger. The burger isn't all that. It was full of gristle (gross) and greasy. I love a big, juicy cheeseburger with all the toppings I can get as much as the next guy (girl) but damn, Five Guy's. Drain the grease off a little before you slap it on that bun. And the gristle. I can not even go there. I'm recoiling just thinking about it. I mean, disgusting. I'm happy to see this new location in the Slidell area but if I go back it'll be for the fries only.

However, the BIGGEST disappointment were the fries!!! They were basically "crinkle cut" shoestring potatoes. I have tried other chicken tenders places and had massive crinkle cut fries. I cannot truly express my disappointment in them!!! The service was great. My food was presented in a timely.

He specifically is always making sure the food is fresh and everyone is satisfied. I have never been here when the food wasn't good. Yes, it can be frustrating when they don't have certain toppings are things made but they are one of a few 'fast food' places to do almost everything in house, and for that you have to give credit.

The wait times alone are enough to make you walk out -- the line regularly stretches all the way to the entrance, and it barely moves. What's frustrating is that it doesn't seem like anyone is managing the situation. On more than one visit, I've seen the manager standing at the register chatting with coworkers while only one employee is actually making the food for a long line of customers. It's clearly understaffed, and it shows. There's no sense of urgency by the manager, in my opinion. To be fair, the portion sizes have been consistent, so that's about the only positive I can give. But everything else misses the mark. Twice now, I've gotten sweet tea from a container labeled "unsweet," which is just careless. Today there are two containers labeled "sweet".  I guess we are guessing today. After trying both the left container was "unsweet".  The dining area isn't any better -- tables are often dirty with food left behind from previous customers. It takes a lot for me to leave a 1-star review, but this location has earned it. Between the long waits, poor service, lack of cleanliness, and no sense of urgency, it's just not worth it. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to eat. HORRENDOUS! Won't be back.

I've had breakfast, lunch and supper. Today was lunch! After very very early flights into NOLA we needed something to eat. We arrived right after breakfast was up. It ends at 10:30. We got there at 10:35. Oh well. We both order the chicken salad on the sourdough bread. The sandwich was HUGE! We could've split it for sure. We each took half home. The chicken salad is tasty. The only thing the bread falls apart making it hard to eat. But the amount of chicken salad is really good. The sandwich came with chips which is pretty standard. The counters, floors and dining room was clean. Which is important to me. The food was ready in 15 +/- minutes. They was only 4 other people in there besides us so I wasn't expecting it to take long. All in all it was good just as I expected. The only negative was the front counter person was not friendly at all. Just looked at us when we walked in. No smile, no welcome, nothing, which is unusual for Panera. Maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe she doesn't get paid enough. Maybe she just didn't want to be there. It happens. Food was good, inside was clean, parking lot was adequate and bathroom was okay! I would definitely recommend! Cheers

Now this is where the low stars come in. Front of house worker taking orders was so rude. She had an AirPod in and kept making not only us but other people repeat themselves and said "I can't hear you". Of course you can't sister - you have a freakin AirPod in. I'm not a Karen and normally wouldn't give a rat but she was rude and obviously trying to make her lack of effort everyone else's issue. You can't hear the way you need to because you have an AirPod in, not because people aren't speaking up. She was rude when we placed our order and then didn't ask if we'd like chips or drinks before she told us our total. Ended up just ordering drinks separately at the self service kiosk because we didn't feel like dealing with her nasty attitude again, which she was giving out to everyone for free. All the other employees we encountered were very nice. Tables were for the most part clean but most still had some crumbs - again not a huge deal, rushes happen and something's get over looked. Everything was actually really clean though, even the bathrooms.
