    Peach milkshake

Simply the best!! Wait is never long, food always hot, always greeted with a smile and yoday i got 2 cherries in my milkshake (lol) The Peach milkshake is my favorite for the summer! It has chunks of peaches in it

    Post eye exam!

This is the only Chick-Fil-A around for miles so obviously this is the perfect place to stop after an eye exam! With that being said, this place (similar to countless other Chick-fil-A's) is always packed. Their drive-thru and dining room services genuine and their ticket times are low despite the number of people that are always there. I really enjoy the upgrades in their app like the order from your seat option and I love that this location has a playhouse for kids. I've never had a bad experience with this restaurant chain saw absolutely continue to visit... Plus, their strawberry shake is bomb!

If you can't do something why allow it to be ordered that way? "-HONBUTT" (minus honey butter)

Want to know what's worth than poor service...? A straight up lie. Chick-fil-A needs to stop running those commercials about their staff going above and beyond when they aren't willing to do the basic things. I asked them to put peaches in the frosted lemonade, some locations will do it and others say they "can't". Why can't they? Because they don't know how to charge for it? Either way inconsistent. And that is not the particular issue with this location, just an example of their inconsistent behaviors that didn't used to be so inconsistent. At this location we ordered breakfast and requested them not to butter the bread for the minis. I was outright told they could not do it. Again, I worked at Chick-fil-A and until recently it had been our family's go to meal place any time of day. That being said, this is the first place that has ever outright said they couldn't prepare the minis without butter on the bread. Mind you if you request a salad without something Chick-fil-A will make you a fresh salad, and can even make a grilled cheese. And as I said "we have ordered such at countless other locations" I heard them mocking my statement at the pass through window. Chick-fil-A has grown to large for itself and the quality control is definitely going down hill. They are going to let a few bad apples spoil their reputation. Competition is certainly growing, and it was their service more than anything that set them apart.

No trailers in the drive-thru!!!!! What if it's my pleasure to take my trailer for some chicken?

Thank you. My pleasure. Thank you. My pleasure. Thank you. My pleasure. OK. I actually didn't get a "my pleasure" until I paid, but you get the picture. Chick-fil-a, it's the place people love to hate, but also the place people love to love. If you are a resident of planet earth, you are aware of what Chic-fil-a is all about. I won't bore you with those particulars. Instead, I will do my best to bore you with the particulars of my visits here. I am a dad. I am a dad who occasionally listens to my kids and gets them what they want. My oldest had been wanting chic-fil-a for several years, but I never wanted to drive to the one in Covington. After her volleyball all-star game, we were headed this way anyway, so I decided to let her get her chick-fil-a fix. Little did I know that this one trip would trump all of the great things I had done as a dad previously. She was super excited. So excited in fact that the entire 25 minute drive here she quoted me facts about Chic-fil-a, their food, and the whole closed on Sunday thing. Who knew she was a Chic-fil-a encyclopedia. Service at this location is pretty stellar. On our second visit there were two employees in the drive-thru line taking orders on tablets. This sped up the line and kept it from stretching back into the roadway. I wish all fast food joints would do that. The food here has been consistently good. Their spicy chicken sandwich isn't really spicy, but it does have pepperjack cheese. That has been my go-to sandwich while the kids stick with the plain ole deluxe with cheese or nuggets. I expect this will become a regular stop since it makes the kids happy, is priced reasonably, and dad likes it too.

Super slow, I did a mobile order and I ended up holding up the drive thru line because of my drink. Is there a point to ordering ahead?

The Impeccable Seafood Platter is what we usually order, and it never disappoints. Everything is made fresh and cooked to order--always hot and full of flavor. In the five years we've lived in Slidell, Louisiana, there hasn't been a single time that the food wasn't absolutely delicious. The fish is perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp always tastes fresh and seasoned just right. Outside of the food, we also come for the sweet tea. I don't know who's making it back there, but it is consistently good every single time. The customer service is another reason we love this place. The ladies are always kind, welcoming, and attentive. They bring your food out to the table, check on you to make sure you have everything you need, and are more than happy to pack your food to-go if you can't finish it. For two people, we typically spend around $55 for the Impeccable Seafood Platter and two drinks--but honestly, it's enough food to feed about four people. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for fresh, flavorful seafood and great service.

It's more like self service, really, than a restaurant. You find a table, go up to the bar and get yourself a menu (weaving your way in and out of people standing in the awkward line to order at the counter). Then go back to your chosen table to look over your menu. You make your choices, then go stand in the line at the counter to place your order (make sure someone stays at your table or else another group coming in may take it and you may have to wait to sit down again). I placed our order, one appetizer and two entrees. One entree came out first... like way before the appetizer. It was nearly 10 minutes later before the appetizer came out, then several more minutes before the second entree. No one waits on you, no one checks to see if you need anything. It is completely self serve. Except you are dependent on them to bring your food out from the kitchen. I would have tipped quite different had I known there was no service involved and our food would come out in the wrong order. But I guess that's why they are smart enough to take your tip when you first order/pay. That said, We really did enjoy the food. The flavor was good and the batter is a nice light fluffy batter. I'm sure it would have been better hot, but we are the type of people that wait for everyone to have their food before we eat. And since it came to us so randomly and out of order, some of it was lukewarm at best by the time we ate. Not sure when we will go back, but at least I know better what to expect.

The Caribbean Jerk is very well done. Most of the seasonal limited-time flavors have been good. The restaurant itself is pretty typical of the BWWs I have been to. It is large and high-ceilinged so it is loud and echoey even if the crowd is small. On a game day (Saints) it is deafeningly so. The service is hit or miss.
