I ordered the deluxe chicken sandwich combo meal through the drive thru. Every step of the way the employees were friendly and efficient. The area was tidy, clean and free of debris. When I opened the lid on my chicken sandwich it looked perfect! I'd say it looked better then the picture on the menu (and you know at other fast food restaurants it never looks as good as the picture) The sandwich was amazing! Today I had the slowest drive thru experience I've ever had a chick fil a. It's seems the workers there now compared to the past care more about talking with their coworkers than serving customers. With that being said, this place (similar to countless other Chick-fil-A's) is always packed. Their drive-thru and dining room services genuine and their ticket times are low despite the number of people that are always there. I really enjoy the upgrades in their app like the order from your seat option and I love that this location has a playhouse for kids. Want to know what's worth than poor service...? A straight up lie. Chick-fil-A needs to stop running those commercials about their staff going above and beyond when they aren't willing to do the basic things. I asked them to put peaches in the frosted lemonade, some locations will do it and others say they "can't". Why can't they? Because they don't know how to charge for it? Either way inconsistent. And that is not the particular issue with this location, just an example of their inconsistent behaviors that didn't used to be so inconsistent. At this location we ordered breakfast and requested them not to butter the bread for the minis. I was outright told they could not do it. Again, I worked at Chick-fil-A and until recently it had been our family's go to meal place any time of day. That being said, this is the first place that has ever outright said they couldn't prepare the minis without butter on the bread. Mind you if you request a salad without something Chick-fil-A will make you a fresh salad, and can even make a grilled cheese. And as I said "we have ordered such at countless other locations" I heard them mocking my statement at the pass through window. Chick-fil-A has grown to large for itself and the quality control is definitely going down hill. They are going to let a few bad apples spoil their reputation. After her volleyball all-star game, we were headed this way anyway, so I decided to let her get her chick-fil-a fix. Little did I know that this one trip would trump all of the great things I had done as a dad previously. She was super excited. So excited in fact that the entire 25 minute drive here she quoted me facts about Chic-fil-a, their food, and the whole closed on Sunday thing. Who knew she was a Chic-fil-a encyclopedia. Service at this location is pretty stellar. On our second visit there were two employees in the drive-thru line taking orders on tablets. This sped up the line and kept it from stretching back into the roadway. I wish all fast food joints would do that. The food here has been consistently good. Their spicy chicken sandwich isn't really spicy, but it does have pepperjack cheese.That has been my go-to sandwich while the kids stick with the plain ole deluxe with cheese or nuggets. On 4/9/2024, I went in to the restaurant for a carry out order. When I got to the pickup area, there was a (not so) gentleman in front of me berating an employee, Mary Cantrell (who I believe is a manager). The man was angry that his card had been cut after he negligently left it at the restaurant. Ms. Mary explained numerous times the card was cut for his financial safety. Despite the male customer being a complete and total jerk and not being appreciative, Ms. Mary handled the situation professionally and as calmly as she could. I guess since I'm the duchess of this joint I should review it. I don't claim to be an expert foodie, but I do try to avoid fast food whenever possible. That being said, it's just not realistic a lot of the time. Dropping thirty to fifty dollars on dinner when your dining companion is a picky-ass four year old (also known as the boy) who won't EVEN TRY what you ordered for him gets really old really fast. Chick-fil-A isn't a typical fast food place. Their chicken nuggets are really good. They aren't weird chicken "parts". All white breast meat and whatever they season them with is yummo. Their chicken salad is pretty good, too. They offer grilled wraps and grilled chicken sandwiches if your pants are feeling a bit too snug. Also, you can substitute fruit salad for the waffle fries (which I'm not a fan of but of course the boy is). The fruit salad is really great. It's not a bag of *yawn* apple slices. It's delicious mandarin oranges, strawberries, grapes and apple chunks. Yum! They also are one of the only places that have my drink of choice (well besides vodka on the rocks) Coke Zero on the menu. Coke Zero!!!! No one has that!!! I love Coke Zero the most and I've gone through the drive thru just for a large Coke Zero. The other great thing about Chick-fil-A is how clean it is. It's always really clean inside the restaurant and the kid's play area doesn't scare the bejesus out of me if the boy wants to go play in there. No disgusting kid gumbo on the slides! In the past and at other locations I've always paid less than 50 cents for a cup of ice but this location insisted on charging me full price of a drink JUST for ice. When asked for the manager, she indicates their policy had changed. Why is every chick fil a different?The chick fil in Florida is free and metairie kenner location is less than 50 cents a cup. Since the closure of the CFA at the Northshore Square Mall, this is my only place to go to get the Chicken That is Laced with Crack. Every so often, I get breakfast here and they are super fast. If the drive thru is backed up. I go in and order and then I am back to my car in less than ten minutes, usually. My only "complaint" is about corporate, not the store. So let me start off by saying that Nick Perniciaro, the owner of this particular restaurant knows how to take care of his customers, especially the regulars. Whenever he does come in, he asks customers questions like,"How are you doing today?" Beyond that, his employees also respond in a polite manner when it comes to serving each customer. The food overall is expected of a Chik-Fil A, and everything is prepared as quickly as possible. Coming here with my family in the mornings to get coffee is what really makes my day seeing as by this time, all of the employees recognize my mother due to the number of times we come in. In conclusion, this location is definitely one of the best due to the quality of service and the management. It gets busy during Saturday's, but it seems like there's nothing that the staff can't handle in terms of big crowds and such. Ensuring the customers have plenty of refills and help upon request is there number one priority. For that, Mr. Perniciaro does an excellent job with his team. Catering at Chick-fil-a is a pleasure at this location. For Administrative Assistant Day, my office ordered a chicken feast to celebrate the staff members we couldn't do without. Christopher and Courtney both helped with our order and were professional and courteous over the phone. My boss picked it up at 11am and everything was waiting for him, piping hot and delicious. I love our chick fil a. The people are nice and caring, never mess up our food and quick service. They do special things around holiday for the kids, have a father daughter date night and several other events. The food can be a little pricy but it is real chicken. Not the processed pink stuff for chicken nuggets at other places. The first couple of times we went through the drive through and we ordered face to face with a person it was a little awkward but now we are use to it and it makes the line move faster. Highly recommend buying a calendar. You get your money back. read more
