My family and I came here today at 6:45 PM. We went through one of the two drive-through's, and received no response. So we went to the other one, hoping to get someone on the other side, and again nothing. So we proceeded to drive to the drive-through window. The workers were having a good conversation in the kitchen apparently... They looked at us sitting at the window waiting for them. And then continued their conversation. Everytime I go here they're slow as hell and I don't know how but the service has gotten worse. They mixed up the orders when there were only four cars outside, didn't give me a fork for my chili dog or a spoon for my milkshake, and no ketchup for my tater tots. We come here frequently just for the sake of convenience. Almost every time, there's something screwed up. A few weeks ago by boyfriend ordered two ultimate chicken club sandwiches. He came Home and there was no bacon or cheese. Today, I ordered an ultimate chicken club. I specifically asked when ordering "that's the one that has bacon and cheese, right?" And she said "yes." Add this one to the list of Sonics not to go to in Slidell. Went there yesterday and waited for a while after being asked to "Hold on" in one of the stalls. Pushed the button a couple times, asked for a response a couple of times and got nothing. It's not like they were terribly busy. I left. I won't be back. In the past, it's hit or miss with this Sonic. Employees here just do not GAF. I've eaten here and left and seen 2-3 of the employees across the parking lot taking smoking breaks together. Maybe that's why they ask you to "hold on' when you're the only car in the lot. This location was closed a couple times in it's past after bad weather events. I'm thinking that Sonic shouldn't even bother to keep this location open. It's not like there's too much of a difference in service weather it's open or shut down permanently. read more

I go to this Sonic all the time for the morning special but I went tonight to get ice cream and it was awful. We waited 20 minutes at a stall and kept being told "hold on one more minute." We saw the drive thru moving so we hopped in line. We were again told "hold on." After 10 more minutes at the drive thru, we finally left. I probably won't come back. read more

The worst sonic to ever exist. The employees have an IQ of a green pea. Apparently, they don't even speak english because when you order something it's not even what you ask for. It's ridiculous. I finally broke down and decided to get the only thing I ever order from Sonic...super sonic breakfast burrito. Could only finish half but it tasted soooo good. I purchased this at 6:30 am Sunday the 18th of October. By 8:00 pm that evening I had terrible stomach cramps and diarrhea. Had the same symptoms the next day with an added fever that topped out at 103.8. Spent Tuesday sleeping and drinking fluids. Still had fever but was gradually lowering to about 100.2. And now it is Wednesday. Still don't feel the best but no fever. That was the most expensive burrito I have ever eaten! I stole away 2 days of my life!!!!!
