Ordered a sandwich bowl!! I understand it's like the sandwich but it was covered with a tremendous amount of mayo! Double what you would put on a bread sandwich. Seriously. Think! Why would anyone want a healthier bowl covered with a 1/2 cup of mayo. I measured. I didn't ask for no mayo but never expected a waterfall of it!! read more

I usually get takeout from this Jersey Mike's because I am not usually on that side of town, but I will drive over there for a JM sammy! Yum! I love the veggie sandwich options. If you like a hot sandwich, the portobello mushroom and swiss is tasty and is unique amongst sandwich chains. The cold Veggie sandwich is good - get extra cheese and it is as filling as a meat sub. The Philly chicken cheesesteak is fabulous, better than the steak version. I love the hot pepper mix they offer. Goes with almost any sub on the menu. The staff are friendly. I have had them bring out carside delivery in bad weather and they are still cheerful. Props for that. Sometimes they are busy and hustling and the vibe gets a little rushed but that's understandable. The store is clean. It is small so it gets crowded at peak times. The traffic flow through the ordering line doesn't always work very well, kind of meanders through the tables. They have an outside patio where you can sit if the weather cooperates. The parking lot is crazy tight. Narrow lot with straight-in parking spaces. Add a few big SUVs squeezing in there and you are taking your chances. Save your car doors and park down by the Walgreens and walk to the store. read more

All I can say is where is the ham. Basic ham and Swiss and if this is the best they can do for $17.00. very disappointed tonight. read more

I was so excited when I found a Jersey Mike's in this region that I made sure my phone was ready for a photo shoot. It was my expectation to leave a five star review because I've always had great customer service experiences with JM's, plus their subs are amazing!! Unfortunately, this was not the case today. It was a very weird and strange experience for me. I was shocked that not one of the four people working spoke to me. Okay, I could understand three out of the four (not really) but I said, not ain' one of them spoke or greeted me upon entering or leaving. While they were preparing my order, I asked if they were okay. Still not a word. It was like the creepiest feeling I've ever had because they all were just staring at me but never engaged me into conversation. Okay, picture this, it was something like a horror movie and everyone knows the monster's somewhere around but no one is saying anything....they're all just staring at you as if you're gonna turn into the monster. As soon as that credit card machine said approved, I got my receipt, grabbed my food and began running for the NOLA border. I'm not sure if I walked into the twilight zone or if they were curious as to why I was taking pictures. I did say I'm snapping a few photos for my Yelp review and again, not a peep. As much as I love JM's, I am ambivalent about returning here. Very strange, unfriendly and unwelcoming. read more

Greeted by the employees and took our order at the entrance to the line. Dine in available by I ordered take out. Mike's Way without onions with honey mustard it's my favorite. Loved my sandwich. Not a lot of chips to choose from. read more

I'm not the biggest fan of sandwich places like these. I think Subway has done more to hurt the industry than help it. So I was dubious as best when coming to a Jersey Mike's due to the relative blandness these chains seem to share. I ordered their Italian sub done "Mike's" way. The meats were cut fresh for my sandwich and it had just the right amount of toppings. All in all they are far superior to all the other sandwich franchise. read more

Great every time I go‼ Owen, I believe is the name of the manager and he is fantastic. The staff is always super friendly and professional‼

Super friendly service and really good subs. The meat and bread is super fresh. Much better than Jimmy Johns.

OK, nothing really great. I've ordered an Italian sub both times I have been here. The first time I said sure, I'll take it Mike's way. That's mayo, lettuce, onions, tomato, oil, vinegar. The girl put an insane amount of oil and vinegar on the sandwich. She just kept squeezing and squeezing and it kept pouring and pouring. I couldn't believe it. When she was done I had a pool around my sandwich. Oil and vinegar all over the place! lol I had to deny the sandwich. The second one came out ok. They have a wide variety of sandwiches, hot and cold, and also offer wraps. Pretty pricey. My 7" sandwich was $7.95! If you want the 14" it's $14.25!!!!!! One thing that stands out is they slice your meat in front of you. The service was pretty quick. Nice clean store. read more

My first time hearing about this place. The service was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They clearly work as a team and willing to help each other. That made me smile. I got a club sub. This does not compare to subway in no way, shape or form. Delicious! read more

I'm officially "I-just-paid-$11.89-for-a-sandwich-chips-and-drink" old. Got a philly. The inside was good, but this southern girl wants po-boy bread. Service was top-notch though read more

A great place for subs. I was very happy with the food and prices. The selection is great. It would have been 5 stars except the young lady wearing the red shirt was rude and uninviting. While I believe she is trying to be really efficent, customer service is very important also. Without customers efficiency isn't very important. read more

I visited about 1130 am and had my free birthday coupon...which is a great perk; sign up! The down side is it's for a regular sized! Parking lot was packed with constant in and out.... Inside was clean, bathroom too was nice, new.... Young guy making subs would educate and seemed genuine nice and my big kahuna was excellent... I should try a cold cut sub next time but I'm always craving the steaks! I will stop by for sure In the future! read more

The red head manager was super nice to my wife, and gave her a coupon. Food was amazing

Amazing steak sub! Wonderful atmosphere and staff. Also, love the commercials with Danny!

as a former 'Shore Resident' (Bradley Beach) I can assure you, this is a great, authentic sandwich. The bread is a little off, though. Might want to consider leaving it out for a day before slicing. Fantastic job guys, thanks read more

We actually enjoyed the subs so much we went the very next day to try more of their menu! My co-worker and I split the Ruben and the Meatball. The Ruben was spot on, hot, juicy meat, great sauerkraut and just a perfect blend of spices. The Meatball was good - not like 80 year old Nana used to make good - but one of the better Meatball subs I've had outside of home. My co-worker, Natasha, said over the weekend she went again and had the Big Kahuna and it was the best. So many subs, so little time!! :D read more

I needed to eat a quick lunch. My go-to place is usually Subway and sometimes Firehouse, but I heard Jersey Mike's is so good that I decided to try them. Big mistake! I ordered one of the hot chicken sandwiches, but the "chicken" didn't smell, taste, or look like chicken. I couldn't find anything online about it, but it must be processed chicken. Not good at all and quite pricy for processed meat. I ended up throwing it away. Waste of money. I should have gone to Subway and gotten the rotisserie chicken. read more

3.5 stars. When I heard Jersey Mike's opened up in Slidell I had try it while I was in town since I live hours away. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. Then the smell of deli meats, a wonderful aroma. There was about 6 people ahead of me and I had placed my order within 3 minutes. The deli case was indication that every sandwich was sliced made to order. I had the chicken parm (#18) and it was good, but not anything special. There was enough meat to justify the 7.25 for the 7-inch sandwich though. It may have been an off day so I will be giving them another try the next time I am in town. If you Want to try a new sub shop give Jersey Mike's a chance. read more

Since I discovered Jersey Mikes in SoCal a few years back- I've been waiting patiently for one to open close to my house here in LA- soooo worth the wait!!! This Slidell Jersey Mike's is awesome! The staff was super courteous and provided great service/food this past weekend. The location was super clean/well cared for. We drove from Gulfport (almost and hour) just to have lunch here. They made us wonderful salads and paid extra care to help us with a food allergy ! Keep up the GREAT work/service! We've eaten at numerous Jersey Mikes and this is way up there as one of the best run/best staff/super fresh EVERYTHING. :-). Thanks for making the drive worthwhile. If Corporate Jersey Mikes gave out bonuses -- this location deserves it. We'll be back! read more

I am from Philly and have been eating cheesesteaks for over 60 years in many places around the country and the world. Jersey Mike's is as close to a Philly Cheesesteak as you can get away from Philly. Also have other things. Great place to eat. read more

Food was so great but more importantly just the nicest guys serving! Bo was the cashier and just really appreciate such friendly service.

One of the best Jersey Mike's I've been to regarding service. Accidentally didn't tell them the size I wanted to order and got 2 regulars instead of giants and they were more than accommodating to help me fix my mistake. They went above and beyond to help and get exactly what we came for, and were all super friendly during the whole encounter. Will definitely be back to this location, plus their tuna and cheese steaks are always delicious! read more

This place is way better than subway. They slice your meat and cheese to order, and cook the rest fresh in a grill right in front of you. It's a little pricey for a sandwich but it's very fresh and very good. I've been twice and the service is friendly and efficient. read more

My boyfriend and I ate here the other night and it was packed! Surprisingly, the wait was not long at all. They have a great little assembly line going on! Everyone was incredibly friendly and our sandwiches were absolutely delicious! I got the #13 and he got the #6- the Italian and roast beef both "mikes way" which is dressed. The meat is cut fresh in front of you and super good. We will forsure be back.... maybe even tonight?! :) read more

This past week I had the pleasure of trying their catering and was equally impressed. The sandwiches are attractively and conveniently packed, four giant subs to a box, and plenty of forks, knives, napkins, condiments, and pickles were included in my order. And the staff couldn't have been nicer in helping me with my order, and all of my guests loved the subs! read more

Just okay. We had the turkey - it's a sub shops. Not too much say. Online ordering was a great option...especially for Slidell!

We both had the Philly Cheesesteak and it was SO good. Streamed bun, sauteed onions and pepper, yummy sauce. It's messy, but very worth it. It's also nicer inside than most sandwich shops. We'll definitely be back. read more

I loved the experience!!! The workers were friendly helpful and provided fresh delicious food. By the time I was finished eating my food I was ready to go to sleep. My kids are picky with their selection yet chose this place instead of McDonalds and burger king. I would recommend my co-workers to come with me and enjoy 30 minutes to an hour lunch break here. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. read more

We decided to try this place and was not impressed at all I bought the Baja Chicken Wrap. For the price and the quality I could have gone to Taco Bell and got for soft chicken tacos and it would have been the exact same thing. It would have been better because all they offer at Jersey Mike's is salsa and the sandwich wrap was Bland no seasoning at all. There was nothing else to put on it and I don't like salsa. Your sweet tea was not even sweet the girl gave me additional sugar to put in but then it tasted like I was just drinking sugar water your tea was so weak. I won't be back read more

These subs are great. Generous flavorful portions and unique taste unlike other franchise sub shops. Highly recommend

Drove all the way to Slidell To get the signature philly and meatball for first trip to Jersey Mike's and the food was ok. Nothing really special about the sandwiches other than the prices. Notice that the menu doesn't disclose the pricing? That's because you probably wouldn't go if you knew what you'd be paying for your meal!!! After my 20 mile trip and close to 30 dollars on 2 sandwiches, let's just say Quiznos is right down the street and better in my opinion. Just another fad read more

The sandwiches are five stars, but the service is immature and poorly trained when the owner is not around. They shouldn't ask me for my order and then turn around and talk to someone else when I start ordering. And, they shouldn't act like it is a chore to reach out and hand me my receipt. I can go to McDonald's for service like that. read more

Pretty decent subs at an affordable price, but obviously the employees can't tell time. Went to restaurant 15 minutes before they closed and the doors were locked. The employees didn't even acknowledge me standing at the door they all ran to the back out of sight. I will not be returning. read more
