My wife loves this place and I like it but can't say I love it. By the amount of people who are always eating here, I am definitely in the minority. We ordered two Chicken Filet sandwiches and some waffle fries. Loved the fries and the sandwich was nothing special but not bad. Typical fast food restaurant inside where you order at a counter and sit at booths. read more

Ive loved chick fil a since jr high school! And it still hits the spot. The original is my favorite and my daughter loves the spicy one. The waffle fries are crispy and the lemonade is one of the best! The staff here is super kind refilling drinks and keeping things clean. There is a kiddie playhouse here so expect some excitement. read more

The owner/ operator Rick was very aggressive when I asked to take pictures for this review. He even followed me out to the parking lot to tell me to leave. The food is what you would expect from a chick Fil a. Good food; the employees were co-mingling in the dining area and even bumped into me as I was placing my order. The employees were hugging on each other from behind in the dining area and wearing attire that did not appear to be chick-Fil-a attire. I would recommend avoiding the dine in option for this restaurant. What I witnessed did not promote a healthy environment. The owner / operator needs be less aggressive. He literally followed me to my car berating me. My response was "have a great day", I had to say it 4 times for him to leave me alone. This review would have been much better if the employees and owner operator would have at least been respectful. To follow someone out to the parking lot and to tell them to leave over taking a picture of the outside of the building is unacceptable. --------------- I never stated anything about my review; I only stated before I even placed my order that I was part of the yelp elite team and I leave reviews for restaurants and other venues. I never said the words "bad" or "negative". The manager asked me to not take pictures of the inside of the building. I told him that was fine and I would just take a picture of the outside of the building; in which the Manager said "That's fine." You did not tell me I couldn't take pictures of the outside of the building until you approached me in the parking lot yelling "I told you not to take pictures". (I had not even seen or spoken to Rick the owner until this point). I said " I'm sorry I didn't realize I couldn't take pictures of the outside of the building" in which you replied "I already asked you not to", to which I replied "I haven't even spoken to you before this moment". You told me to leave I said "okay have a great day". As I walked back to my car you continued to berate me in which I replied 3 more times "okay, have a nice day" because every time I stopped speaking you continued to berate me. This is the most disrespect I have seen coming from an owner/operator of any restaurant. read more

I live in the middle all three Sarasota Chick-fil-A's and I go out of my way to this location in South Sarasota. They are the friendliest and provide the best service of the three. The owner is so nice, remembers my kids and goes out of his way to say hi. It's always a joy going to this store. read more

This location is fantastic! The breakfast food was really good! We tried a number 1, 2 and 7. Everything was fresh and flavorful! The chicken had a good crunch, their sauce was good and the service at this location was exceptional. The lady at the front was beyond friendly!! read more

One of the nicest Chick-Fil-A restaurants I've ever been in. The place is spotless service is beyond any previous expectations from any other Chik-Fil-A I've been in. My Cobb Salad was just as good as it could be and v they were accommodating to put grilled nuggets on instead of the usual Fr IED ones. Lettuce was crisp, everything in the salad was great. I especially enjoyed the Dried Red Bell Pepper flakes. Highly recommend this store. read more

I'd like to say a lot of bad things about this Chick fil a, but only to keep the crowds from always forming. This place is great, clean, friendly service, perfect chicken sandwiches and they make the wait worth it. A+ read more

Whoever this Sam T. is way off! This is the best Chick-fil-A in the Southeast! The staff is always amazing. I go there 3-4 times per week. Hannah is one of the sweetest people there. Do they mess up at times? yes... but when you do the business that they do, it's inevitable. They always make it right. I'll bet ol' Sam T. couldn't do what they do everyday and at the high level that they do it. He/she is just a social media warrior who is more confident behind the keyboard than actually speaking on the phone to the owner. Those people are called cowards. This is the best Chick-fil-A and it's not even close. They have the best staff and serve the best food. Rick, your many fans in this community have your back. What you do for this community (aside from the food and service) is amazing and appreciated. Keep up the great work - we'll always be back. Don't listen to Sam T... he/she just needs a reason to complain. read more

This is the best Chick-fil-A! I go every week after dog training and there's always a free reward in my app. On top of that, they give out lots of free meal cards, too. The employees are super friendly and the food is perfect. Use the app, it's worth it for all the extra freebies. read more

I visited this location twice last week. This location is a great draw for food that is alway great but also for exceptional friendly service. Friendly service, food came out in less than a minute. This place is great and the area is beautiful.

Loved the healthy grilled chicken choices. They have the most efficient way of dealing with long lines.

I go to this Chick-fil-A often and I am always impressed at how attentive the staff is and how clean it is. (Including the bathroom ) You can see that the staff works hard and that they love what the do. It's almost like a restaurant experience. They refill your beverages and clean the table for you . The food never disappoints! Always delicious and hot or cold depending on what you order . I always ask for light ice and they deliver listening to every detail every time. Management walks around to make you feel welcome and to serve you in any way with a smile . "My pleasure " Good job Chick fil A team!! I am a proud customer! read more

First visit to a Chick-fi-A and was awesome...just a shame there aren't any in the UK! Service was superb...really attentive and engaging, and a lovely touch having a colleague taking the time to explain the process for us novices...we are now converts, and love the Chick-fil-A sauce :) read more

A very good lunch I stopped at the Sarasota Square food court for lunch yesterday and I didn't have very much time. Chick-fil-A caught my eye. There was no line and my order taker was very upbeat as we worked through what I wanted. I decided on the Chicken Sandwich Deluxe combo, a chicken sandwich with cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickle slices, waffle style fries and a drink. It was ready in just a couple of minutes. The sandwich was great, the chicken moist and tasty. If the cows don't convince you to Eat Mor Chikin, the chicken should. I got a few types of sauces but they were not needed for the sandwich. I'm not a fan of waffle fries. I used some of the sauce with the fries. Being a foot court, there is a large common seating area, which has always seems to be well-maintained. read more

This is hands down the BEST Chick-fil-a you can dine at! The staff, service, and hospitality you receive beats every restaurant in Sarasota! This opinion isn't formed solely on one visit, but numerous frequent visits that my family has made over a 4 year time frame. The owner Rick runs this place with kindness and fosters an environment of compassion, cleanliness, and professionalism. The standards are set high and it shows! This is our go-to family friendly restaurant because the food and service can't be beat! read more

Is it weird that I made a special request that we visit Chick-Fil-A when my husband and I traveled to Sarasota? I don't know. He seems to think that my excitement was a bit over the top. I can't help it -- I love Chick-Fil-A. It's strange, because I'm definitely not a fast food person, but I'm pretty sure it's the waffle fries that put this spell on me. You will have to bear in mind that I have only visited Chick-Fil-A a couple of times before... Once or twice in Atlanta and once in Seattle. Who knew that there are a couple locations not too far from me in Miami? I surely didn't until I decided to Google it before writing this review! Anyway, this Chick-Fil-A location is on Tamiami Trail, which seems to be a pretty main thoroughfare in Sarasota. It was super conveniently located to our hotel and most points of interest on our little vacation. This Chick-Fil-A is so cute inside. It doesn't look like a typical fast food restaurant. The service is fast, as fast food should be, but the employees are all either paid quite well or perhaps given copious amounts of happy-making drugs. Probably not the latter, considering the beliefs I know are behind Chick-Fil-A's... But they're just so nice and friendly! Coming from Miami, I'm not used to so many smiles and "how is everything"s. My husband and I both got the spicy chicken sandwich, which has a lovely little kick to it. He made his deluxe, which just means it comes with toppings. OF COURSE we got waffle fries, since that was the whole point of coming, and they were so deliciously crispy. My husband always makes fun of the intense amounts of ketchup that I use on my french fries, and I loved that they had those new ketchup pods that are perfect for dipping big ol' waffle fries! Overall, it was exactly what I had remembered from my couple of previous experiences. Yum! read more

Do yourself a favor and don't go here. Walked up to the counter at 10:31am to order breakfast and was rudely told I should have gotten there before 10:30am if I wanted it. I drove to chick fil a ordered a white large order only to get home and realize the whole entire order was wrong after they initially gave me the wrong order. I drive all the way back here for them to still mess up a sandwich I ordered. Extremely frustrated I call and speak to the manager who told me that I can be put on a list to get a free sandwich when I am unable to eat this sandwich they messed up 3 times she says they can't refund this sandwich I will have to drive back there again to get a new one. The food and service has always been great. However, the past couple times I've been here I've had bad experiences. Marcella is an awful person. She should go work for the dmv with the attitude she has. What is the big deal with these chains? I ordered a simple chicken sandwich & small ice tea. They gave me a medium ice tea and the fries that I didn't want. The fries were upside de down in the bag; the bun tasted like cardboard; the chicken had pickles on it and was basically inedible. And they charged me for the 'meal', not what I ordered. Kids talked too fast, we're impatient and there were hardly any people there. Lousy experience overall. Not a fan. read more

I am a virgin Chiick-fil-A customer. I just came from the Restaurant in the Pelican Plaza in Palmer Ranch, Sarasota. First of all, let me preface by saying it was 12:10 when I arrived. The lineup was around 3 sides of the building. I immediately thought, I guess I will be here for a while. I am telling you from the time I got into the line until the time I was driving away was no more than 6-7 minutes. You guys have got one slick operation going on. The single line broke into two lines where staff were taking orders at your car. Most people knew exactly what they wanted. Because he was standing in advance of the big menu board I knew I would have a problem. When I reach the young man, he was very kind to show me a smaller hand held version, and even when so far as to apologize for not letting me hold it. He took my name for the order and I proceeded to the payment line. The young lady immediately greeted me with " Hi Judy" and repeated the order to confirm everything was correct. After paying I was off to the pick up window. I was very impressed that EVERYONE working inside had masked and gloves unlike another well known restaurant with "Golden Arches". She also greeted me by name. I told her that it was a " virgin" Chick-fil-A customer, she was very concerned that my first experience was favorable. I drove away so happy and content and in what I consider record time. I just can't say enough great things about this restaurant. I wish them all the best. Great job everyone. Judy read more

Stopped yesterday for an ice cream cone. Out of cones, cup only. No problem. Started to eat. Some of the worst soft serve I have ever had. Not creamy, thin.
