The owner/ operator Rick was very aggressive when I asked to take pictures for this review. He even followed me out to the parking lot to tell me to leave. The food is what you would expect from a chick Fil a. Good food; the employees were co-mingling in the dining area and even bumped into me as I was placing my order. The employees were hugging on each other from behind in the dining area and wearing attire that did not appear to be chick-Fil-a attire. I would recommend avoiding the dine in option for this restaurant. What I witnessed did not promote a healthy environment. The owner / operator needs be less aggressive. He literally followed me to my car berating me. My response was "have a great day", I had to say it 4 times for him to leave me alone. This review would have been much better if the employees and owner operator would have at least been respectful. To follow someone out to the parking lot and to tell them to leave over taking a picture of the outside of the building is unacceptable. --------------- I never stated anything about my review; I only stated before I even placed my order that I was part of the yelp elite team and I leave reviews for restaurants and other venues. I never said the words "bad" or "negative". The manager asked me to not take pictures of the inside of the building. I told him that was fine and I would just take a picture of the outside of the building; in which the Manager said "That's fine." You did not tell me I couldn't take pictures of the outside of the building until you approached me in the parking lot yelling "I told you not to take pictures". (I had not even seen or spoken to Rick the owner until this point). I said " I'm sorry I didn't realize I couldn't take pictures of the outside of the building" in which you replied "I already asked you not to", to which I replied "I haven't even spoken to you before this moment". You told me to leave I said "okay have a great day". As I walked back to my car you continued to berate me in which I replied 3 more times "okay, have a nice day" because every time I stopped speaking you continued to berate me. One of the nicest Chick-Fil-A restaurants I've ever been in. The place is spotless service is beyond any previous expectations from any other Chik-Fil-A I've been in. My Cobb Salad was just as good as it could be and v they were accommodating to put grilled nuggets on instead of the usual Fr IED ones. Lettuce was crisp, everything in the salad was great. Whoever this Sam T. is way off! This is the best Chick-fil-A in the Southeast! The staff is always amazing. I go there 3-4 times per week. Hannah is one of the sweetest people there. Do they mess up at times? yes... but when you do the business that they do, it's inevitable. They always make it right. I'll bet ol' Sam T. couldn't do what they do everyday and at the high level that they do it. He/she is just a social media warrior who is more confident behind the keyboard than actually speaking on the phone to the owner. Those people are called cowards. A very good lunch I stopped at the Sarasota Square food court for lunch yesterday and I didn't have very much time. Chick-fil-A caught my eye. There was no line and my order taker was very upbeat as we worked through what I wanted. I decided on the Chicken Sandwich Deluxe combo, a chicken sandwich with cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickle slices, waffle style fries and a drink. It was ready in just a couple of minutes. The sandwich was great, the chicken moist and tasty. If the cows don't convince you to Eat Mor Chikin, the chicken should. I got a few types of sauces but they were not needed for the sandwich. I'm not a fan of waffle fries. I used some of the sauce with the fries. Being a foot court, there is a large common seating area, which has always seems to be well-maintained. read more

Is it weird that I made a special request that we visit Chick-Fil-A when my husband and I traveled to Sarasota? I don't know. He seems to think that my excitement was a bit over the top. Anyway, this Chick-Fil-A location is on Tamiami Trail, which seems to be a pretty main thoroughfare in Sarasota. It was super conveniently located to our hotel and most points of interest on our little vacation. This Chick-Fil-A is so cute inside. It doesn't look like a typical fast food restaurant. The service is fast, as fast food should be, but the employees are all either paid quite well or perhaps given copious amounts of happy-making drugs. Probably not the latter, considering the beliefs I know are behind Chick-Fil-A's... But they're just so nice and friendly! Coming from Miami, I'm not used to so many smiles and "how is everything"s. My husband and I both got the spicy chicken sandwich, which has a lovely little kick to it. He made his deluxe, which just means it comes with toppings. OF COURSE we got waffle fries, since that was the whole point of coming, and they were so deliciously crispy. My husband always makes fun of the intense amounts of ketchup that I use on my french fries, and I loved that they had those new ketchup pods that are perfect for dipping big ol' waffle fries! I drove to chick fil a ordered a white large order only to get home and realize the whole entire order was wrong after they initially gave me the wrong order. I drive all the way back here for them to still mess up a sandwich I ordered. I am a virgin Chiick-fil-A customer. I just came from the Restaurant in the Pelican Plaza in Palmer Ranch, Sarasota. First of all, let me preface by saying it was 12:10 when I arrived. The lineup was around 3 sides of the building. I immediately thought, I guess I will be here for a while. I am telling you from the time I got into the line until the time I was driving away was no more than 6-7 minutes. You guys have got one slick operation going on. The single line broke into two lines where staff were taking orders at your car. Most people knew exactly what they wanted. Because he was standing in advance of the big menu board I knew I would have a problem. When I reach the young man, he was very kind to show me a smaller hand held version, and even when so far as to apologize for not letting me hold it. He took my name for the order and I proceeded to the payment line. The young lady immediately greeted me with " Hi Judy" and repeated the order to confirm everything was correct. After paying I was off to the pick up window. I was very impressed that EVERYONE working inside had masked and gloves unlike another well known restaurant with "Golden Arches". She also greeted me by name. I told her that it was a " virgin" Chick-fil-A customer, she was very concerned that my first experience was favorable. Stopped yesterday for an ice cream cone. Out of cones, cup only. No problem. Started to eat. Some of the worst soft serve I have ever had. Not creamy, thin.
