The chicken was alright at first but then I could tell soon enough that it was pretty salty. I didn't care for the additional sauce options. I chose a white balsamic vinaigrette and a garlic aioli which is so much garlic. Customer service was fine they answered all my questions on what everything was. There's no labels or signs that say what the item is. Unless u follow the menu word for word which is not possible when u have to decide faster. Ambiance - this one is my favorite compared to the Tampa and St. Pete location. I do like the variety of items and that they do work with local farms.

Everything from having a gloves directly touching my food (thumbs in my food specifically) to rude and unsimpathetic management, to incorrect charges on my bill. The food is good. Best Mac and cheese ever. Unfortunately energy needs to shift. I'd start with a fresh manager and team and have an owner overseeing this facility more closely. It doesn't live up to the original location in Tampa. Update 6/3/26: came in to give another try. 3 fingers with gloves in my food as I was being served. I told the gentleman and he said "we have gloves on" as he was touching his screen for the order snd counter with the same gloves . Gloves mean nothing. I chose to leave and not eat here. Such a disappointment that they are so careless with cleanliness even after the issue has been ongoing and they have been made aware of it. Also if a customer is not happy with gloves I'm the food, you probably should just offer to replace the bowl and make it right but the employees don't care. *Owners take note* unfortunately your management doesn't care and you won't be aware of this ongoing issue.

September 27, 2025 - 2 for lunch takeout…read more Never been here and somebody volunteered to pick up and PAY!!!! Doing 10 hours of guard duty so was looking forward to the lunch. When I ordered seemed a "little" expensive ($9.75 to start and then $2.45 for Tofu +++ for quinoa and other healthy topping?) , but I must say as a unethical selfish vegan (not about the animal and its all about MY health) or more aptly a Nutritarian eater, there were plenty of components and ingredients for a healthy meal. I would have gone for black, or garbanzo beans or even peas??? for sure but no vegetable proteins on the chart?? Ordering is a bit of a pain. My co-worker who is a regular there says most folks order a signature wrap and he said some comments about my a la carte order? So for that I might suggest a Signature Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) Wrap or Salad and the 5% of us who are vegan, vegetarian, WFPB, Nutritarian etc could just click a button? The sandwich was very good the way I ordered it, and it was prepared exactly and perfectly. Fresh ingredients and the wrap was nice. I will have to check this out in person at some point!!!

Pura Vida is essentially a lifestyle brand disguised as a cafe, where the food, the people and the surroundings are all perfectly positioned for Instagram. The menu reads like it was assembled by someone who spent six months in Tulum and came home determined to put avocado, matcha and coconut on everything. You'll find food bowls, smoothies, wellness shots, salads, wraps and all sorts of things designed to make you feel like you're making excellent decisions while simultaneously spending a pretty penny on lunch. The Sarasota location feels a little older and more sedate than its Miami counterparts, but I really enjoyed the ambience ... ( maybe a little less hipster cuz it's not in Miami? ) I've been to the Pura Vidas in Miami before, so I'm curious to see how the Sarasota location compares. I'll definitely be revisiting the Miami locations and reporting back on those too. As for what I actually ate? I paid a pretty penny for the peanut butter ball ( pictured ) but I'll have to admit... it was worth every penny !

There is a water spicket station towards the back of the restaurant with both room-temperature and chilled water that you are able to use and refill your cups at any time.
