My friends and I tried this place out on a Saturday, we showed up early evening at 6:30pm-ish. It's quiet. We walked in and nobody greeted us (which is normal, im not complaining but it's important to know) - I walked up to the bar & told the bartender "Hey! Can you explain how it works here? It's our first time here." They said "It's $10 an hour to play pool, that cool?" I agreed. A gentle came up to us, greeted himself, took us to our table, asked if we were okay, and stated our waitress would coming to us soon. She came, introduced herself, explain the menu, answered our questions.. she was great! We ordered $65 worth of drinks. She took all of our cards... So $75 spent and we've been in there maybe 8 minutes... We got our game going, it's 6:40pm a man who works there walks in and says "Hey we're charging $10 per person after 7pm. It's the cover charge, and hold his hand out waiting for us to fork out $10 per person.. ($50 extra) - Why??? We got there before 7. Okay whatever; my husband takes his wallet out to give a card, the man says "it's cash only." Nobody has cash.. And we don't have our cards to get money from the ATM.. and they won't give them back unless we close our tabs.. take our money and they open another tab?? My friend talks to our waitress and she explain that she didn't know there was a cover charge. She passes my friend off to the manager and this dude is so beyond rude, it's crazy. We were confused, but we were not impolite. He had no interest in our business and he made it very clear. We spoke to 3 different people 20minutes before they required a cover charge and not one person mentioned anything until this random man walks up to us expecting $50 cash. Nobody was aware of this cover charge apparently, which sounds so fishy! The manager had no interest in clearing up the situation, so he doesn't value his customers? We were ready to have some fun & spend some money. I'm so sad because it sounded fun, but the whole situation was uncomfortable.
