    Spicy Southwest Salad
    Steve G.

I just discovered the spicy chicken southwest salad. Amazing! The grilled chicken, corn, black beans, and veggies all come together really really well. I especially liked the lime pitas that they include as a topping for the salad. Give it a try!

    A classic!

As always the freshness and taste of the signature chicken biscuit is on point. It's a little smaller than the competition but good quality. Service is friendly.

This is the coolest CFA I've ever been to! It's located in a historic building, and the drive thru line goes into the old parking area! Inside the building!! My chicken sandwich was hot and fresh, made just like I ordered it! Fast dedicated service for the drive thru customers! Keep up the great work!

Food: deluxe meal and spicy salad, unsweetened tea and lemonade and soft serve. The soft serve in a cup for $1.40 was not soft - they need to work on that. Service: the line went relatively fast, but we weren't offered straws or ketchup so I had to go back for that. They'll bring the food to your table. Food as expected. Ambiance: large, clean dining area. Bathroom: use the code from your review to enter. Clean.

    New drive thru downtown!!
    Rebecca C.

Thought it was so cool that Chickfila opened up a drive thru downtown. Unfortunately, this is not nearly as efficient as their other locations. You'll spend 5-10xs longer in the drive thru line then you'll spend at any other location. At first I thought they were still just getting the hang of it, but they've been around long enough where they should have it figured out by now.

    Large fries

If we are going to pay for a large portion but get a small portion what's the point of paying the extra charge to make it large. Now I know to check my order before leaving this location IF I go back.

    Soggy bread

Definitely was disappointed after three days of not eating and being in the hospital I finally was able to eat, but was disappointed with the way. The meal was the bread was completely soggy. The vegetables were completely old. The fries were still and cold. The drinks were messed up my boyfriend got a refund on the drinks and on the fries, but not on the sandwiches. In my opinion everything should've been refunded.

This review is for the drive-thru only. If you aren't familiar with downtown and the one way streets you may have some trouble finding the drive-thru, which thank goodness is on Soledad, a two way street. There are two drive-thrus and it wasn't busy when I went by on a weekday at 6pm. I could barely hear the employee asking to take my order but he was very polite. He told me to drive up to the window and I pulled forward but only saw sliding doors with no employees nearby. I kept driving thinking I would find the window and ended up back on Soledad so I zoomed through the drive-thru again and stopped by the sliding glass doors. An employee finally arrived and motioned for me to stay put. I heard an another employee approach his coworker and apologized. I think the apologetic employee was supposed to keep post at the sliding doors and that's why I didn't know to stop. They probably should have told to stop at the glass doors instead of a window. Now that I know the process it will be easier should I come by again. The food was no longer warm once I got home and the fries were browned from overcooking but didn't taste bad. The lemonade was delicious. Oh well. This Chick-Fil-A is right across the street from Hampton Inn so I'm sure the guests will appreciate having it so close by.

The atmosphere is homey. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. Someone had spilled some sugar on the table, and we sat down before they could get someone to clean it up. It was obvious the worker were challenged, as we saw them constantly on the move between cooking, the cashier station and the drive up window. I found the music just a little too loud, but I think I may be fixated on this aspect of dining out. The batter tasted like flour and that's it. I don't understand if the owners have their flavorful tenders at smoke shack why aren't they to the same standard here . The sauce options are ok , loved the hot honey. The max n cheese reminded us of frozen meal standards. As my husband said "There's good restaurants, there's fast food & then there's Honeys..." Overall I would not recommend it .

I was torn between three and four stars. I decided on the fourth star because I didn't feel it right deducting a second star just because I may have made the wrong decision on a sauce. I got here right about the time they opened. Seated right away and read a book while awaiting a friend to join. Ultimately, my friend stood me up. I was waited on at perfect intervals during my waiting period. This place is nicer inside than you'd expect just seeing it from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. I ordered the Banban and opted for the Smokey Mayo. I also ordered the white garlic fries, which I found bland, which was surprising given the amount of sauce. Fries came out first. I would have preferred the fries come out with the wings, but the wings took FOREVER. I literally finished my fries before the wings arrived. I think the waitstaff knew it took too long given the apology received when the food arrived. Wouldn't do the Smokey mayo again I just didn't like it. Borderline too spicy (listen to the on the menu) for me. The original was okay. As a matter of fact, I think I enjoyed the wings more as leftovers than I did in the restaurant. Overall: it's okay; I'm glad I tried it. I might go back if a friend wanted to try it. I found the $45 tab kinda high for just me. And to the young employee who decided to do her eye makeup while standing behind in the middle is the restaurant but behind the register, I couldn't care less, but some people might find it unprofessional. This isn't Sephora.

I'm guessing once the initial rush dies down, the experience might feel a bit more relaxed. When I first walked in, there was a slight unpleasant smell, kind of like body odor, which wasn't the best first impression. That said, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Even though I ordered through the kiosk (which was easy and straightforward to use), employees still checked in to see if I needed anything. After placing my order, it took about 10-15 minutes to get my food, which felt reasonable considering how crowded it was. I decided to sit outside since it was a nice day, and they do have both indoor and outdoor seating options. As for the food--portions are definitely generous. I ordered two sliders (mild spice level) and a salad. The sliders had thick pieces of chicken, and while they were filling, the chicken itself was a bit too thick for my liking and didn't have much flavor beyond the spicy seasoning on the outside. On the positive side, the sauce on the sliders was really good. The salad was also a standout--I genuinely enjoyed it. The fries were another highlight: fresh, crispy, and paired well with the sauce. Overall, this visit felt a bit hit-or-miss, possibly because of how busy things were. I'm willing to give it another try down the line to see if the experience improves once things settle.
