We went here at 9:11 pm and I walked in and ordered a 8 piece livers and gizzard and a tender roll, but when I said can you make it fresh he said "certainly you're the customer." He was very nice and told the cook to make it fresh so he did. I was waiting for 8 minutes and I said I wanted a small cup of ice and he said "are you sure I can give you a drink since your order is taking long." I said "ok that's great thank you" he gave me a sweet tea so I took it to the car and I came back and he said "you're order is almost ready would you like another tea." I said "ok thank you" so he gave me another one. 5 more minutes later he said "did you get your order?" I said "not yet I don't mind I see your busy." Which I saw how the drive thru was packed and raining. So he was super very nice too give me this much of livers and gizzards tenders, fresh rolls, gravy, serendipity packets, and a gallon of there sweet tea plus the best part it was super hot and he said he was sorry I hope you come back and I said "thank you so much and I really appreciate this you made my day, but what's your name?" I'm giving four stars because the staff who help outside are superior in personality & care, compared to the assistant manager who waited in me today when I went inside for the first time ever. She was just not friendly. Complete opposite from her entire staff. Sad. If this is how you lead by example, you are failing. Thankfully, your staff is superior. It's Bush's Chicken. They don't do food wrong. I've never received a wrong order. Not once. Their chicken is always freshly fried, & they always have fresh warm rolls. They do have good tea, but I cannot drink the sweet. Its is too sweet. But, they brew their tea properly. I always get me a cup of unsweetened tea. Never disappointed. I do not like white meat. Thankfully, I can always order a three piece thighs without any issue. I did just discover they have baked chicken. Although I do not know anyone that has ever got an order. So, if you have, let me know what you think. I'll try it mext some. Opened my to go box & was surprised how old the chicken looks. It is not hot, actually, kinda cool. I came straight home after ordering. This is disappointing. I actually liked this location. But, after going here about once every 30-45 days, not a bad percentage. Visited here today. First the team member who came to the door was very rude and told me to go thru drive thru. She said can't you read the sign. Went to drive thru, the big woman at the drive thru was a great person and team member. She order and brought it to my truck. She was all smiles and helpful. She should be the manager. This place is a BONNER I wanted to get some chicken one day, the guy couldn't tell me what kind of chicken plates they had so I ordered a three-piece. then I asked him what about the sides? Then he charge me extra for the sides. And then I had to ask him what about a drink? does it come with a drink? and then he charged me extra for the drink. It have been easier just to buy the meal I don't know why he didn't suggest that I couldn't find it on the menu because the menu was too crowded I like their chicken, its usually good but the service here is getto. After waiting in the drive through and noticing the employee started taking orders of other cars that showed up after us my husband asked her if she saw we were waiting too? and she replied "I'm kinda busy right now!" We thought that was rude and unprofessional. A simple, "sorry, I'll get you next.", would have been a better response. And she was the day manager!!! Unfortunately, it left a bad taste. Foods: Loved the fried chicken, jalapeno poppers and the gizzards. We ordered a breast and a thigh both were crunchy and moist. The gizzards also came with a white gravy. Then the excuse they only have two waiters, I'm the only vehicle in-line other people went inside to place their order I have not seen but one way there now in 16 minutes. I come to this Bush's because it is near where my fiance works. The food is great, but service time needs some improvement. It usually takes between 3-5 mins to be acknowledged vfor my order to be placed. We stopped here because it was on the way to my parents house. My mom loves their gizzards. We didn't wait long but it took the employee some time to charge my card and hand it back. She kept putting it on the counter and getting frustrated. At one point the recipient she printed out to charge me at another station disappeared. Horrible experience! BEWARE!! BEWARE!! It started off in the women's bathroom, where I watched the pregnant employee exit the bathroom stall with her food apron (food safety violation! Food aprons should not even go into the bathroom!) Then, she did not even attempt to wash her hands before returning to the kitchen! Do I even have to say that that is the food safety violation? I attempted to wash my hands, only to find that there was no soap. Luckily I carry hand sanitizer. After waiting quite some time behind another party at the register, as we were all being ignored by the staff, someone finally decided to wait on them. He then proceeded to ignore me. It turns out that was the manager LOL. Once I was finally able to order my food, while he was getting it all on the tray, another customer came up to ask how much longer it would be before she would get her poppers? He walked away without even answering her, but then took the poppers that he was going to put on my tray and gave them to her. He then told me he would bring my poppers out as soon as they were ready. I ended up having to sit at a large 5 person table, because all of the smaller tables were dirty. The floor was also dirty. I was completely finished with my meal before he even came out to check if I had gotten my poppers (which of course I had not). He told me that it was his employees fault. My chicken livers were overcooked, some of them had obviously been sitting under the heat lamp for quite some time because they were dried out and tough. They were also so over breaded that I had to remove most of the breading to even find the liver. The mashed potatoes and gravy had no flavor at all. I haven't even tasted the chicken yet, at that point I had lost my appetite so I got it to go. Their business had slowed down quite a bit while I was eating (although the dining room was no more than half full the entire time that I was there ). However no one made any attempt to clean tables or the floor. They did come out and empty the trash cans. And the manager found time to stand out in the dining room and watch the ball game on TV! Several employees were standing around in the kitchen area taking a break. One female employee finally came out to clean the tables after the dining room was empty. This was my first (and LAST) visit to Bush's Chicken. I have worked in the food service industry for 20+ years. I have to say this is one of the most piss poor dining experiences that I have had. It was a total waste of $16, The only part of the meal that I enjoyed was the sweet tea. I will certainly not ever be back! read more

Been here alot! I've only had one mix up on my order out of like at least 20+ drive thrus so I'd say that's great! The only reason I didn't give a five star was sometimes it does take a while for them to get to you in drive thru. It's understandable especially during like the 4/5pm hours. I'm disappointed in the quality of the chicken wings I've been getting. The size of their wings are getting smaller. I called and suggested that they work on getting their quality control up and running, the wings were super small and barely had any meat.
