This Chick-fil-A is fine, I just don't know why they don't separate their lines like other Chick-fil-A's do so that drive-through is one lane, and pick up of pre-orders is in the second lane. I live in Arizona, and every Chick-fil-A out there runs like butter... Slow wait till you get here drive-through in one lane, speed through grab your order and go for people who order ahead. It makes no sense why they do it this way here, especially in such a crowded parking lot. Maybe the new location in South Salisbury will have it figured out! read more

Never disappoints! Grateful for the inside seating to be open as we passed through town. Our order didn't take long and the food was hot! The employees were just as friendly and the manager walked around asking all the guest if they needed any refills. This was a quick stop for me on an all-day drive through four states, and though the food is exactly what I'd expect of a Chick-fil-A, it's the incredible customer service that compelled me to leave a four-star review. First, getting into the place almost made me turn around - the parking lot was packed at nearly 2 o'clock on a random Tuesday afternoon. PACKED. The drive-thru situation is a total disaster - cars backing out of parking spaces, cars trying to get out of the drive-thru line, cars trying to get into the drive-thru line, and more cars trying to get out of the parking lot and on with their lives ... all in one intersection. Mayhem. Bedlam. CHAOS. Then, once I was in line, I realized the machines must be down because there were employees standing at both drive-thru lanes (those two drive-thru lanes merge into one lane after you've placed your order, by the way - CHAOS, I tell you.). Normally, I would've just left, but the way this place is designed, once you're in line, there's no turning back. When it was my turn to order, this poor employee, who'd been standing under a brutal sun on a melting tarmac, greeted me with a smile and a friendly hello. She noticed I was trying to peek at the menu, which was just past her, so she stepped out of my way and gave me all the time I needed to make my decision. She took my order, processed my payment, apologized for the situation, and let me know what to expect when I pulled around the corner to pay. Around the corner was another welcoming employee, who confirmed my order (she made change for those who paid in cash), and then a third employee at the window who greeted me with a "Well hullo, Miss Erin!" before handing me my lunch. His smile was infectious. The people who work here can't help that the parking lot was designed by a drunken sadist. Nor can they help whatever mechanical malfunction took out their ordering system. They were just as inconvenienced as their customers, but you'd never know it because of their level of professionalism and organization. And after spending all day fighting ridiculous drivers on multiple highways, this traveler was MIGHTY appreciative of their positive attitudes - they all get my thanks, and next time I come through Salisbury, they'll get my business again, too! read more

But...for the second time we watched an employee act in a way that is not what is Chick-fil-A standard. Way too much eye rolling to accentuate the heavy glam look with the short red hair. I absolutely love chick-fil-a but this location has definitely has its issues. I go here every friday and get the same exact thing. Over the last couple of weeks it seems like I get something different each time. Either a utensil or sauce missing. Sometimes they will put the wrong cheese on it. This last week I arrived in the drive thru around 6 and the drive thru window was open. I could hear the workers talking and one yelled loudly "I don't care if they get their drinks these people are annoying" she then realize the window was opened. I am a huge fan of Chick-Fil-A because the food is go and the service is always impeccable. So whenever I come back to Salisbury, it's almost like I HAVE to stop here to get my fix. For almost $6 you get their homestyle chicken sandwich served with pickles (yum!), waffle fries, and a drink with free refills. And it's very filling. The food is always very good and they get your order correct! This location is always busy whenever it is open. And furthermore, the parking is ridiculous and getting in and out of this location is a total pain in the ass. But the restaurant is very kid-friendly (there is a huge kid play area) and meticulously clean. For a quick bite the entire family will enjoy, I definitely recommend stopping in. That is, if you can figure out how to get in here from Rt. 13. And good luck getting out. read more

Food and service was good, but I did not like the layout of this restaurant and getting in and out of the parking lot is not easy. Your best bet is to say a prayer and start backing out and hope you don't hit anything. Amazing customer experience here: indoor fun and clean playground, friendly and efficient customer-oriented service (your dishes will be served at your table), delicious, warm and affordable food with a fair size portion... Our toddler enjoyed the child's menu, which included a small fruit cup and milk chocolate. We enjoyed our grilled or fried chicken sandwiches. Fresh flowers were decorating the tables. The clean restrooms had a changing table. It was easy and free to park. There was a gorgeous tree with a myriad of pink flowers on the parking lot. During one of our visits, we filled a raving customer survey, which enabled us to redeem a free fried chicken sandwich within 2 days. This has been our favorite fast food restaurant in town. read more

When the drive thru line goes all around the building I realize it makes sense to walk inside rather than complain about a stressed out fast food worker or what will obviously be a long wait.
