The Breakfast meal we ate was very good. The waitress was exceptionally good at her job, making the meal even more pleasant.

This prettiest Denny's we've ever eaten at is situated right next to the Hampton Inn in Fruitland,Maryland. If you're staying at the Hampton Inn and would like a more substantial breakfast I would highly suggest eating at this Denny's. We went for a late night dinner and were very warmly greeted and quickly taken to a nice booth. Looking around we were struck by the decor. It was simply marvelous for a Denny's. The good experience continued as we ordered and were served. Everybody was very friendly, our order was accurate and the service was very attentive. Our meal was perfect and we noticed the cocktail prices were much cheaper than we are used to. So if you're from a city make sure you get a cocktail here at a very reasonable price. For a laugh, as you leave look to the left side of the door. There is a framed print of Abraham Lincoln sitting on a pancake throne. We were ROFL. read more

Worst experience ever with Denny's. Brought my burger and it was still bleeding. Offered to bring me another but what was the point. My girlfriend would be done eating by the time they brought me another. They were kind enough to not charge me for my meal but made sure to charge for every extra they could on my girlfriends meal. No manager even came over to apologize or say anything. At the end, while paying, I did complain to the gentleman ringing me up. He did say he would get to the bottom of it but that was after my CC payment had already gone thru. The resturant industry is not what it used to be. read more

Dennys in Fruitland has the greasiest food I have ever eat. My wife and I used to go there, but have swore we will never eat there again. A friend of mine told me the same thing, his food was greasy and he says he will never go there again. The last time I was there I had fish and chips. The fish oozed out grease when I cut into it with my fork. It was pooled on my plate. My friend said he picked up his burger and took a bite and grease run down his hand and pooled in his plate. He told his waitress take it back. No way could he eat such a mess. Never again. read more

I love this place. The food is delicious. Congrats to the chef, who ever he or she is, can make a great steak. The managers are wonderful, especially Dawn. Our family likes Denny's for quick inexpensive meal. I was disappointed they didn't have the plain pancake puppies. This Denny's seemed pretty new...very nice inside. Service was food and although it was crowded because it is Mother's Day we got seated in about 20 mins. Both my son and I got the super bird. I added egg to mine and it was good. My mom got French toast and she said that was good as well...although she took off the crust because she said it was a little too brown). My daughter had the kids chocolate chip pancakes and ate every last bite so I call that a win. My husband has the loaded tater tots which he said were okay. All and all it was a good visit, no major complaints! read more

Terrible service. Waitress seated a couple after us, brought them their drinks and apps before even taking our drink order. She was very rude during ordering, kept cutting us off and wouldn't let us speak. Will not be returning. took her fifteen minutes to bring us a straw and completely ignored us when we asked for the straw. craziness. read more

Came here for a formal event. I had forgotten my ID because i didn't have pockets on me and I showed them my vaccination card as proof i'm 21 and they didn't accept it. While I understand they have policies but that was my first disappointment with the event. I will admit this was probably one of the nicest Dennys I've been to and they had a lot of food options. My boyfriend had gone to the bathroom and asked me to hold his drink. Meanwhile the "bouncer" approached me claiming i'm not 21 and took the drink while I tried to explain to him I was holding it for someone in the bathroom, in the meantime the manager walked by and started yelling at me and attempted to put me on a literal "time out" which is very inappropriate to me to try to put your customers on a time out without any warning. I can say with complete honesty I was probably one of the only sober people in that event yet I was the one being lectured about how i'm going to "ruin a formal for everyone". I'm the type of person that is a big rule follower and hate being yelled at, so this event personally ruined my entire formal. read more

Very good food, the prime rib sub seemed a bit too much for the bun to handle, but still tasted delicious, and the bourbon sauce they used on the skillet was very nice but seemed a bit excessive once you eat the potatoes and peppers. The staff was very nice and was very willing to help me out. Very good restaurant, will come again. read more

Very good food and great service from our server tonight! Now, for the bad news... After our meal, I went up to pay for our meal and my wife handed me four twenty dollar bills. I know this, because the only ten dollar bill we had was already on the table for our server. The manager took my money and handed me five dollars and some change and closed the drawer. I asked him how much the bill was again, because something was off. He told me the amount ($65. xx) I said that he only gave me the five and some change. He proceeded to argue with me that i gave him $70. Now, I'm not a "the customer is always right" kind of person but he was definitely wrong. 1) I only had $20's to start. So, I couldn't have handed him $70. 2) He argued and insisted that I was wrong. How hard would it have been to look at what he rang up this evening, at last count, and then count the drawer? Which he just counted a few minutes earlier. At least check! I have seen this manager give other customers a difficult time in the past when they got bad service or a bad meal. Now, I know what they were dealing with. I am a local business owner myself. And I would never treat a customer this way! Even if I thought I was right. I guess I'll be crossing another chain restaurant off our list! Maybe he should take some lessons from his wait staff. read more

Had a really good time last night. We were met in the foyer with Girl Scouts selling cookies. Bought some Thin Mints!! Then into the restaurant and the hostess seated us right away. There was 7 in our party. Shannon was our waitress and she was wonderful!! We order appetizers and drinks. The drinks were great, the beer was ice cold. My sister got a White Russian that she said was awesome. We got 2 loaded nachos as appetizers, and we were starving so we devoured them. Ordered our food, salmon entrees, steak entree and sandwiches!!Three of us got the salmon. It was okay, not great, tasted real fishy but all the others said their food, steak entree, and sandwiches, tasted really good. Even with the salmon not good, I would definitely come back here. I was staying at the hotel right next to Denny's. I ordered a salad and when I got back to the hotel, the dressing was not in the bag. I called them and asked them to bring the dressing they missed. The manager was rude, very rude and said he'll see what he can do. The hotel is literally a 30 second walk. I was on a business conference call and could not walk back over. Not happy with the manager. I received and paid for my to go order. As I put my change in my pocket I realized I forgot to give them the coupon the hotel gave me. I asked them if they could redo the bill with the coupon. The cashier went and asked the manager. He came back and said the manager absolutely refused to redo the bill. Really ticked me off I was in disbelief. That is pretty bad customer service. Most restaurants would have either redone the bill or just given back the difference. When I told the people at the hotel front desk they said others have had issues with the manager at the Dennys. Food was fine but hope you don't have any issues that you have to deal with the manager. read more

Not a phenomenal experience. Our waitress was totally overworked with tables all over the restaurant. No coffee or water refills offered until meals were finished. Toast was basically warm bread slathered in butter and the requested well done hash browns were basically raw. The waitress was super helpful in sending the meal back but not a dining experience I'd recommend. read more

The service I received at this particular location was extremely terrible. Prompting me to download the app and post this. The waitress would go MIA coming to our table only twice during our two hour trip to this establishment. I ordered an alcoholic beverage and my waitress was not old enough to handle beverages, prompting me to wait until after my food was served for me to be able to get my first beverage about thirty minutes after ordering. With half of my table having gotten the all you can eat pancakes you would guess our waitress would at least stop by when everyone was done eating, but after having delivered our food she did not come back until an hour later then proceeded to ask if we were ready for the check, to get refills on the all you can eat took longer then was necessary and eventually all the guests left unsatisfied. The waitress was extremely ignorant to the fact that she was waiting on a table and instead sat in kitchen while we waited. Will not be going to this location ever again. read more

My daughter and I and her four children had dinner at Dennys while on vacation. Awesome experience. Super friendly and efficient waitress. Very patient while taking my granddaughters order. Food was well served , often asked if we wanted refills on drinks. More importantly food was very good. Would go again without any hesitation!!!! read more
