It had been a long time since I've been to a Chili's, and I don't remember being especially fond of this chain. I didn't have lunch, and the third floor was ordering Chili's so here I go. I ordered the "bacon guacamole grilled chicken sandwich" with Swiss, tomato, lettuce, and mayo on brioche which sounded like a good choice but was the wrong choice. Insert Frowning Face emoji! The sandwich was micro processed tasting and did not taste like real chicken. The avocado was not fresh nor the tomato and even the fries were not good. We were in town for a wedding and stopped at Chili's for lunch. The host greeted us and seated us. The waitress was cordial and took our order on a timely manner. A different person brought our food but no one checked to see if we needed anything. There was no salt or pepper on the table and we could have used more napkins. It appeared that they were like many places and were understaffed. I did ask the host if we could get some salt and pepper and we was kind enough to get us some. Haven't been to a Chili's restaurant for years. Now I know why. Only went because of a gift card! The service was very good! Our server was on the ball and everything we ordered came out correctly. Didn't have to ask for refills, napkins etc. she checked on us often, as dodgy the manager who stopped at every table. The triple dipper we decided to have as an Appy included the mozzarella sticks, big mouth sliders and the chicken crispers. The mozzarella sticks were nice and cheesy gooey, the sliders were pretty good but the chicken crispers were crispier than they should be and were chewy. We decided to share the trio fajitas combo which included steak, shrimp and chicken. Did not come out sizzling, chicken was strips of weird textured meat like substance. Did not taste like real chicken! The shrimp was alright and the steak was okay. The side of beans was tasty as was the guacamole. The tortillas looked a bit doughy, didn't eat but one of those. Not coming back to any Chili's not because of the service but due to the food quality and prices that are up there with much better restaurants for the subpar fare. I wish I could give zero stars, rudest hostess ever, yelling at people, picking and choosing who she sat, literally saying I'm not going to seat them to the host that when he told her which party to seat and he would seat the party instead... the mean girl behavior I witnessed in the almost hour wait, and I never witnessed any patrons being mean or rude to her first, but her behavior was atrocious. read more

A much improved menu. Service was good. The steak was tender and cooked a perfect medium.We haven't been here often and was looking for something different. They have a pretty good lunch menu. Date night staple for my wife and I every few months we end up stopping in to this particular location on repeat. the service is decent, prices are affordable, the staff usually is on top of the ball with getting refills, making sure everything was good, even at busy times the staff still makes you feel welcomed. We visited for dinner. The place was not crowded. The hostess seemed young and inexperienced. She cleaned off a booth for us. Aggressive customers quickly sat at the booth. The hostess didn't say anything, even though we were standing in front of the booth. She moved us to Michael's section. He was kind and attentive Several issues happened in the kitchen, including getting the wrong item more than once. The manager made it up to us and even gave us a dessert. The restaurant was short staffed. Now that school is back in session, that shouldn't be a problem. If you visit Chili's, ask to sit in Michael's section. read more

On my road trip to VA we got hungry and I was in the mood for fajitas. Stopped here and tried to order online but the deal I wanted wasn't available, so I called. The lady told me the deals they had so we got the 2 for $25 deal of chicken fajitas , chips and salsa and bacon chicken quesadilla and dessert. We waited about 15 minutes and it was done. I processed to go inside to let them know the lady at the counter was on the phone so I waited until she was finished then told her that I did not order fries I had ordered loaded mash potatoes she took my carryout tray and went in the back but mind you I could see her from where I was standing!! Chilis is my favorite chain restaurant! The food is always fresh and tastes good! They've got great burgers and are always prepared as ordered. Their chips and salsa are terrific! Despite being half empty, we were told there was a brief wait. "We don't have any clean tables". As you commence to stand there and play games on your phone. Your other hostess decided to wipe a table after I said something. Nearly 15 minutes of standing there I decided to leave and take my family elsewhere. This was the only time I saw a manager anywhere in the restaurant. Poor leadership is clearly to blame. No manager presence and the teens clearly didn't care. Came to pick up an order for DoorDash. Throughout the pandemic their procedures for take out have changed every week(understandably). So when I pull I call just in case I can't come inside. As soon as I mention I'm picking up an order the girl got annoyed and I got hung up on after she tells me to go inside. So I go inside, then I'm told to go wait outside. I sat in there waiting for almost 25 minutes and the restaurant wasn't even busy at full capacity. Rude employees and wait time is way too long. read more

Me and my daughter used to go here all the time then a couple years ago when COVID was happening and they opened back up for carry out only, I saw a roach on the counter when picking up my carry out and didn't go back for years, until tonight. I decided to give them a second chance and Me and my daughter went to dine in for dinner and right after our food came out right before we started eating my daughter saw an adult roach on the bar counter right across from our table/booth. We told the bartender who saw it and killed and got rid of it. For roaches to be out like this in the light and during business hours they are probably really bad and all over the kitchen. read more

Food is great! Service subpar. Came in at noon on a Wednesday. No hostess. Gave up waiting and went to the bar. No bartender. Finally got up to get myself a menu. Bar area server came to take our drink order and drop off chips. By the time she came back to take our order our drinks and chips were empty. Everything had an extra wait today. Not excited. As bad as the service was it probably wasn't her fault. There were a few manager or supervisors standing around watching while she and other servers ran around. Leaving finally. Still no hostess. This is my 2nd time dining in this Chili's. It's located in Salisbury MD on route 13 right after you pass the mall going north to Dover. Same side of the road as Walmart and there's a Wawa next door. Just like last time I was here a couple of years ago it was around 7pm in the evening and the place was pretty slow. (Was a Monday night this time). The bar was about half full as I took a seat and waited for the bartender. When I say bar, I mean the bar proper, not the entire room. That means there were about 6 people there other than myself. The main dining room was a ghost town. Once she arrived I ordered an iced tea and she left to get it. No greeting, no menu... A few minutes later she returns with the tea and walks away. Again, no acknowledgement, still no menu. Ten minutes goes by before she returns, notices my glass is almost empty and asks if I'd like anything else. "Yes please, how about a menu" I say. I get my menu and end up ordering a bacon cheese burger. Again I wait... and wait... About 30 minutes later my burger arrives. 30 fricken minutes for a burger in a restaurant that has next to no customers at all. I'm beginning to think at this point that I wouldn't want to be here if there was a real crowd as I may never get anything to eat. The burger was good, a little short on the fries but I'm not going to complain at this point. I finished it in short order and hit the road back to Va Beach. I'll think twice before stopping in this Chili's again. read more

This is my third time here and I don't get some of the negative reviews on here. Decent food, cold beer and the barmaids always bend over backwards to make sure you are taken care of. It used to better when they had the free wings at happy hour. Now you only get like 8 at a time. (Maybe less now since I haven't been in awhile.) Too bad people ruined it for some of us by 1) taking up a bar area spot and by 2) making a meal out of the wings while drinking water. Seriously? At least get a *uckin beer! As someone who works in a restaurant, i am very understanding of a mistake. With that being said, I am very annoyed. Last time i got food to go, i ordered from their 3 for 10 menu. I asked for a sweet tea, chips&salsa, and crispy chicken crispers with fries with honey mustard. I received a coke, chips&salsa, honey chipotle crispers with fries. My s/o ordered a coke, chips&salsa, and mango habanero chicken crispers with loaded mashed potatoes and Mexican rice. He got a perfect order. We didn't get silverware, napkins or straws. I really don't understand how difficult it is to put napkins, straws, silverware packs and dipping sauces in a bag. I also don't understand why they couldn't take an extra minute to review the order. I would rather wait another 5-10 minutes for my order to be correct. I quite frankly will not be dining there again, due to the lack of attention and ability to follow an order. Also, this is NOT the first time this has happened to me here. I have gotten incorrect orders 3 times now. You guys need to get it together. read more

Worst experience I've had at a restaurant in a while. Staring off we ordered boneless wings as a appetizer. They came plain with the sauces on the sides. Typical boneless wings are tossed in the sauce or I guess I'm just crazy. For my entree I ordered spicy shrimp tacos. 1, they weren't spicy at all. 2, shrimp was undercooked (tasted rubbery and like the frozen shrimp you get from wal mart). 3, the tortillas were hard like paper plates. 4, no sauce the tacos were dry as a desert. 5, more veggies than shrimp. The entree came with rice and beans. The rice tasted like cardboard, no seasoning at all. The beans were straight from a can and sure tasted like it. Thank god I got the roasted street corn, this was actually tasty. Although the corn was cold it made up for it in its taste. Aside from the street corn and water, everything was very below average. Waitress was very nice though yet still would not recommend eating here. read more

But I am giving this three stars because I occasionally go to a Chilis and I order the chicken strips as usual and they either aren't cooked all the way or it is extremely greasy. My husband and I went to Chili's tonight as we normally go once a week. We always get the 2 for $25 deal. Tonight, my steak was mostly fat and super tough so I couldn't eat much of it. Our server saw that I hadn't eaten most of it and asked if something was wrong. I explained to her that most of it was really tough but that it was okay, things happen! She offered a replacement steak for me to eat there or take home, but I respectfully declined as I understood that things happen and it wasn't their fault. She came back a few minutes later and explained that she had talked to the manager and they were taking half off our bill. Although I wasn't looking for a refund or replacement steak, this server went out of her way to make sure we had great service, even though I told her it was okay beforehand. Great job on both her part and the manager's part! Service is always great, food comes out quick and is always delicious. They will always continue to get my business! read more
