Ate here on 9/19/26 during a trip to DE. Our realtor told us about it. I ordered nachos- was a bit apprehensive since I'm from TX and wasn't sure about some Delaware nachos. Well... they put Texas to shame. The tomatoes and peppers on them were fantastic ..... Those were some of THE BEST nachos I've ever had in my 60+ years! Really nice waitress too, and we sat on the patio outside across from a big pond so the ambiance was great as well!!! Absolutely horrible quality of food. Steak in burrito looked like and tasted like old scrapes. Even chips were stale. Out of Diet Coke. Veggie burrito greasy and disgusting. We were there , a large family of six adults, a kid and a baby for dinner. Excellent plentiful seating outside. We got seated quickly. The margarita selection was good. We tried regular margaritas and a Michalada, a spicy beer drink. Both were excellent although the margarita was more lime and less tequila than usual. The vegetarian selections were ample. It's Tuesday 11/25/25, 4pm. Weather is cold like 60 degrees Fahrenheit, there are only 2 other tables sat. It's quiet place is very clean, love the decor. The tables are old school actual wood furniture and booths we sat on are dope, the backing are leather tufted and a pretty blue color( see pic). I ordered the Guadalajara Burrito chicken( I excluded chorizo [sausage]), comes covered in a cheesy cream sauce with an amazing flavor. The burrito is topped with a flavorful pico de gallo( onions, parsley, tomato other ingredients and peppers). My company ordered other dishes, all were very delicious I did try a spoon of each. We also got 2 desserts I had "El volcano " a brownie with ice cream, it was perfect. Nice light crunch outside, smooth inside not gooey. We also got Don Juan , fried ice cream( not impressed with the cornflakes housing the ice cream)and churros served in a tortilla bowl. I didn't expect much coming here but I left a believer that when I'm in town I will definitely be back with family. The location is great we sat outside with a view of water. The service was just fair no drink refills. In the past we really enjoyed the food but on this recent visit the food quality was not good. The cheese dip was watery and had no flavor. The meat in the Texas fajitas was over cooked and tough. It will be a while before we have Mexican. read more

This is my second time coming here as my first visit left me a bit disappointed. Everyone seems to like this place so we decided to give it a second chance and I am glad we did. It was a beautiful sunny fall day so we sat outside and looked across at the water which was great. The service was great, super friendly and quick. Our food and drink was also very good this time. Have lived in Texas twice and Southern California once. Frequented Mexico for both work and personal so no, this isn't the best Mexican food ever. I'm giving a review that takes into account what we got, how it tasted, and the restaurant overall. It's decent, but if I'm staying honest, I can't say I'd be dying to go back but it was decent! The service was just fine for us! She was very friendly and as attentive as she could be given the size of the place. We sat outside because I did not like the smell (cleaning products) inside and it was exceptionally dark to me. The chips are good, queso, salsa, and guacamole are both very good! Now, the main meals were Chicken Quesadilla for my husband which originally came out as a chicken fajita platter. We were confused and they fixed it no problem. I got pollo tacos because I'm funny about where I eat Al Pastor, Camarón, etc. I wasn't impressed at all. I think I just don't like the way they do the chicken. They were "street tacos" but not like any I've had before and not in a good way. Desserts were the star for sure! My husband got the Don Juan which people kept asking about. He enjoyed it overall! I got the flan which I will say was one of the better ones I'd ever had. Parking can be rough on a Friday so we parked at a nearby park. There are multiple lots and street parking spots in Milton to utilize. I absolutely understand why people like it here, I just don't think the food is really that good. We love Tequila Real for it consistent just good comfort Tex Mex food right there in Milton Delaware. Their drinks are good. Their staff is great very fast very attentive. The ambience is nice although it can be a little noisy when you're in the main dining room so we try to get in the booth at the front. The food is good. This place has all the makings of a good place. Good location decent service. Burrito was tasty albeit not wrapped at all. It completely fell apart with each cut of my fork. Now the bad... salsa is not good and comes in a plastic Jell-O shot cup (?!). Not to mention they charge a couple extra bucks for a 2nd Dixie cup of bad salsa. The $12 house margarita was the nothing more then lemon/lime water with the only school being the remnants of cleaning solution they last used on the pre made dispenser. The guacamole was decent but lacked flavor and again for some reason I'm charged $2 more to get some chips to eat my guacamole. 2.5 stars really and there's better options in the area read more

We were going to a show in Milton and decided to head to a recommended restaurant which also had a nice outdoor deck that overlooks the water. This made for a nice choice for a dinner date with atmosphere. Staff from the moment we arrived was very friendly and accommodating. The menu is pretty extensive and we took our time trying to decide. While waiting delicious tortilla chips were served with 2 different sauce dips (red salsa & white). No idea what the white sauce was but I couldn't stop dipping into it, even mixing the 2 was delicious. I ordered the Chicken Flauta, waitress recommended to prepare fried and I'm glad I took her advice. My husband ordered a new menu item, Chimichanga California which he thoroughly enjoyed and kept commenting how delicious. We did order dessert as I had room, so we shared a brownie Ala mode. Also very good and hit the spot for a sweet ending to our meal. Restrooms were clean, restaurant inside and out was very tastefully decorated and clean. Overall was decent but could use improvement. I believe our waitress was also the bartender. She took our order, brought drinks, and only saw her again 10 minutes after our food came. I ordered the build your own combination with a beef burrito and chalupa. It should be noted in the menu the chalupa is the mexican version that looks like a tostada. The guy delivering my food even said tostada and they do not come with any meat. After eating most the meal, our waitress finally came around. I mentioned the chalupa and she agreed it was also weird. I was offered another item to eat but declined not wanting to wait another 30 minutes for her to come back. The drink menu does not have prices. My sister ordered a sangria which ended up costing $12.50, only 50 cents less than what she paid for her entire meal. read more

One of my go-to restaurants when I'm in the mood for Hispanic food but don't feel like making it. The portions are well worth the cost and the quality is great.
