This chick-Fil-A is different then other locations. The chicken strips are COVERED in grease and seemed to be darker in color with the breading. This was my second time there at that Location, and both times I experience the same thing Extremely greasy and not cooked right. Honestly go to another location don't waste your time or money at this location. read more

Forgot my chick fil a sauce for a 12 count nugget didn't, realize until I got home 30min drive away and honestly food isn't even worth eating anymore. Very disappointed read more

Horrible drive through.. super slow every time. Currently only 3 cars ahead of me and I've been sitting here for 15 minutes. Ridiculous.

I ordered from this location from doordash and oh my God... it was the worst Chick-fil-A I've had in my life! The fillets were dry and tasteless and the nuggets were stringy and bland. I understand there's a 15-20 minute time window and there's going to be some reduction in quality but this was way worse than that. The chicken was obviously sitting for too long in the kanbans before it was served and I paid $30 for this food that could get me sick. What a waste of money. The only thing good about this visit was the sauce which made the experience somewhat bearable. Also, my sister just informed me she got food poisoning from this place a week ago... Unacceptable! I understand if you slip in quality every once in awhile, but this Cfas quality has just been gradually going downhill. If I'm paying upwards of $25 for quality food I'm just going to take my business elsewhere because this Chick-fil-A has no standards in quality. Hopefully I don't get sick from this, and if a representative from Chick-fil-A is reading this, you need to get your act together! read more

This place just opened and I love it. There food is even fresher than the other ones. Love the nuggets and grilled sandwich Will definitely go back read more

I generally think Chick Fil A is overrated but never care enough to review. But this location has made me sick now twice. I can't tell if its greasier or what it is that makes me sick. The first time I thought it was coincidence but the second time realizing that their food is oily and/or old. Chick Fil A is a hype. You can make better chicken Sandwiches at home. read more

Always a good spot. Friendly employees and the food never disappoints as much times that I went

Worst chick fil a in San Diego county went there for a spicy deluxe meal and left with a grilled deluxe meal. The service is slow and the inside location is highly dirty and needs to be cleaned around the clock. You ask for certain items and they never seem to fulfill your requests. read more

Ordered on the mobile app at 5:20 went to the store and checked in proceeded to wait finally got our order at 6:05. What is the point of having an app to place an order when it takes less time to use the drive through? read more

For being the new Poway store...the customer service is piss poor. We pulled into drive thru yesterday at 10am to grab breakfast, since according to the corporate website, and own menu, that Chick-Fil-A serves breakfast until 10:30am. As we made it to order, the person told us that they stopped serving breakfast even though it was only 10:10am. So we did not order, had to wait in line so we could leave. Not one worker apologized, just said, "Have a nice weekend!" We found it very irritating that this store does not follow company policy. Plus, found it interesting that they decided to stop serving breakfast once the drive thru was slammed pack with cars...who most likely wanted breakfast. Would be interesting to see if this B.S. move is done daily?! Will never come back to this place. read more

Waited in line for 10 minutes for breakfast when one of the came out just before we ordered and changed the sign to lunch. When we asked if we could still order breakfast the answer was no... regardless of how long we had been waiting. Called the restaurant and spoke to management, she was very cheery but it was basically too bad... I've tried this location several times and they are consistently bad and now they are just senseless. Love chic fil a bit we'll never be back to this one... read more

Will never return. This place can't be trusted to get their togo orders correct. We get our to go bag handed to us while I asked the lady is that everything and she says "yes". Then right before we're about to driveway another employee comes running to the window handing me just a sandwich saying this belongs in your order as well. So then we get home and we find out they still forgot our 3pc chicken strips that we ordered. I guess that's what happens when you just hire people who are still in high school. read more

This is the worst Chik Fil A ever. Placed a mobile order this morning and had to wait 5-10 minutes when I got there. Order was cold and wrong. Glad I got my money back. I've tried them multiple times and been disappointed every time. I won't be back. read more

Elyssa took my order and was NOT pleasant at all. She was very rude during the ordering process. If you don't like working here there's other places for you like burger kind if you don't want to give off the "my pleasure" attitude at chick fil a. Love their food tho read more

What's the point of asking me how many sauces I want if your not going to give them to me?!? Also, if I can't order my food how I like it well done, why do I come to your location? I will drive further to a different location when I want Chick-fil-A next time. read more

I love chick-fil-a but there's something wrong with the Poway franchise. Going into the store is fine but if you're unfortunate to choose the drive through you're looking to at least 30 minutes. Other franchise locations nearby like in Carmel Mountain gets you in and out really quick in the drive through so it's not the food itself?? read more

I'm done coming to this location- it's super dirty, and everyone that works there is so grumpy all the time lately. They rarely smile or greet you and it's just not worth the money for the lack of service and cleanliness. I miss the friendly workers! read more

Pretty dissatisfying experience. Wanted to just go through the drive thru after a long day. Waited forever, employees didn't seem to have any sense of urgency and no apologies for the wait. Got my food and there was no sauce! What is chick fil a without the sauce!? Had to park and go into the store to get it since the drive thru wait was so long. Food was definitely not worth the wait. I think I'm over this place... read more

Stopped by again after my order wasn't correct the first time and was told to come back, which I did the same night Tuesday at 9:30pm. As I spoke to the cashier (young white boy) he told his manager Jordan "good luck" with us trying to get our order under a phone number. Extremely rude comment, and I'm not really sure what his point was. Please do some more training with him not to think he's cool while being rude. Thanks read more

Wow, never have I had a dinning experience completely ruined and made uncomfortable like the one I had today. The on duty manager, her name was champagne and she had red/pink curly hair, was non stop yelling and harassing her employees while I was standing directly at the counter, in fact she refused to help me with my refill and instead chose to yell at one of her employees inquiring "where's my cookie and my milkshake, you need to make me my milkshake before you go outside.". The manager refused to acknowledge my presence, instead favoring chewing out multiple employees while she herself stood there looking for food to eat. Furthermore, with a full line inside the restaurant, she was openly insulting and belittling her employees in front of all of the customers. All I could hear from my table was champagne telling her employees to do this and that in a rude manner while she herself did nothing. Not to mention the extremely long line inside while only one person was working register and champagne standing around pretending not to see the long line. Thanks to the management, I will not be coming back here and I'll be telling all of my friends not to work there. Horrible experience, I feel bad for anyone who has to work under someone so sour. read more

This is the dirtiest Chick Fil A I've ever been to. I was there at 10:30AM and let my daughter play in the play area and it was filthy. I didn't realize until I walked in there to ask her to leave. You'd think they would clean it when they close the night before but no. You could barely see out the windows there were so many hand prints and dirty old band aids in the cubbies. You can tell it's not been throughly cleaned in days or who knows how long. It's such a disappointment because this is the location that is closest to my house but I'd rather drive the extra few minutes to Carmel Mt or Del Sur to be in a clean area. They are also very slow and I feel like a million people work there and do nothing, so many employees standing around when they could of been cleaning. There were only three customers in there - it was a ghost town. read more

Worst run location I e been to and I've traveled across the country. Dirty over flowing trash dirty tables slow slow slow slooooow service. It desperately needs an adult experienced manager for run the location. read more

Slow service, very rude employees, not sure why the owner is okay with such low reviews. There is a need for change. The food is undercooked as well. Gross. read more

We went to Chick-fil-A a couple days ago this is the second time I've gone to the store and Poway and granted this is a fairly new store and yes they are busy however I've never been in a dirty or fast food establishment. Food all over the floor food on tables dirty seats customers wiping their own seats so they could sit down and the people that were bringing food out didn't know where the tables were. They were walking around the restaurant from one side to another while the food was getting cold. Hey general manager or a regional operations director get your act together we're never going back to this location and thank you for the free sandwich for filling out The survey online I hope somebody reads it and just in case they don't there's one on yelp for you. Where is the management? read more

You guys need to stop being so picky, it's a fast food restaurant not a high dollar place. You get what you pay for and what you pay for is pretty darn good. Geezz read more

Sitting in the drive-through now for 15 minutes and the Girl trying to take my order for some reason didn't understand it three times. How can you mess up two chicken sandwiches and one large order of waffle fries! They need to hire help that is actually competent. read more

I'm a fan. I love the app. I love how easy it is to order and just pick up and go. Spicy chicken sammich all the way!

This location is a joke. I am assuming it is managed by an 18 year old due to the way employees are allowed to stand around the counter and gossip while ignoring paying customers waiting in line to be acknowledged? I didn't even hear the renowned "my pleasure" when saying a non deserved thank you to the cashier. This was my second time here since opening, and I excused the lack of customer service then because people were still training, but it's been almost two months and nothing has changed. It's actually worst. I will take my money elsewhere like Carmel Mountain or Santee where the workers are mature and a lot more friendlier. read more

Worst customer service ever. Placed a mobile order, and waited at the mobile order line for 20 minutes. Staff and managers make eye contact with you, but don't ask how you're doing, so you basically stand there like an idiot. They placed my mobile order on a waiting rack that is not even labeled. Food was now cold, and late going back to work. Get your stuff together.... read more

I am huge fan of Chick-fil-A and have eaten at many locations but this location needs to step up their game. The food is fine and the drive- thru speed is okay too. It is when you dine inside that I have had issues. The wait time in the line is too long and they need to keep a better eye on the trash on the floor and tables. It seems consistently messy inside. Seems like they have enough staff but they are not efficient. I am still a fan but this place has been open long enough where the grace period is over. read more

Ordered at the drive thru for dinner on the way home and got a number 1 deluxe combo. I got a sense things were a bit chaotic because they kept forgetting my name and asking again. When I got home 15 minutes later, the sandwich box felt unusually light. There was no chicken in my chicken sandwich. Bun, lettuce, pickles, tomato, cheese.... that's it. I called to tell them what happened, and after confirming the order number they said if I came back within 30 days they would remake the sandwich, and that's all they would do. Huge inconvenience and not really worth the time and gas money for one sandwich. I thought they should have refunded the $8 or at least offered to comp me a full combo next time, as the actual chicken is the entire point and soda and fries hardly costs them anything. They send out coupons for free Chick-fil-a in the mail, so it's not like they are averse to giving out free food. I probably won't visit this location again and stick with In-n-out. read more

Chick-fil-A - Where's the chicken? - Fast Food Near Me - Poway, California

The last two times I ordered fries at this location, they tasted like a cleaning agent. I understand we're all doing our best to remain diligent due to COVID, but if the food is contaminated with cleaning products, that's not good either. read more

This is literally the dirtiest Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. And the employees don't appear to care that's there is food and trash all over the floor. I had to clean my own table to eat. If I wasn't with others I would leave and go somewhere else read more

Dirty tables. Cold food. Long waits. A changing table right next to the sink in the bathrooms? Not coming back this place is a disaster

Drive thru today. No sauce or ketchup at all. Had asked for extra which is listed on my receipt. It's all about the sauce.

The food itself is fine, but there is this one manager Becca I believe, my sister had left her diabetic bag at this location and we had called just to check so we don't have to waste a trip and they would be expecting us. they were closed by the time we got there. We politely waved and tried to get Becca's attention but she completely ignored us multiple times. There was a nice gentleman who opened the door for us after being ignored so many times. I don't know if she thought we were trying to order after they are CLOSED. But maybe it was for something that's fricken important.. my sisters diabetic bag is what literally keeps her alive and becca couldn't even look up for a second. Terrible attitude. It's not only that time, the second time I came after that she was talking really loud on the phone and to the other coworkers on the clock, completely and utterly unprofessional. I couldn't imagine doing that at my job, it was second hand embarrassment the way she thinks she's entitled. You work at Chick-fil-A you have no entitlement. I hope this place reconsiders her position if they want more people to come and fix their stars cuz.. a 2.5 is pretty sad, the gm or owners don't really care about they're jobs, or they just suck at it. read more

Just came back from chick fil a and they are busy today. Service was outstanding and the people are very nice. I'm glad we got a new fast food chain in our neighborhood. I recommend coming here. The cashier said it was my pleasure and have a good day. I forgot to scan my reward on my app and asked an employee and 2 other people there helped me out super nice. I will sure be coming back here soon :D read more

I wanted to update my post since I have now been to this location a few times. The only reason I go back is because they keep giving me free food coupons after their constant screw ups. During my last visit I saw a couple other people complain about their orders within the few minutes I was there. They have been open long enough to get it somewhat together. Whoever is training must be lousy. read more

Ordered my food and waited 30 min. I decided to go up to the counter and ask if they lost my order. I gave them my receipt for them to check and I sat back down. 10 minutes goes by and I go back up to the counter and I ask again, this time the manager comes over and says my order was refunded and didn't enter the system. So they made me reorder and pay for the food again. No free food. No apologies. 45 min wait Just take the extra 10 min drive to get to the Carmel mountain location, you'll spend it waiting for you food here anyways. read more

I was so excited visit the brand new chick-fil-a this morning on opening day. They have the same delicious menu as every location, and customer service is over the top. The owner saw I was carrying a carseat and helped me carry my food and baby to my car, and staff offered to bring me over a highchair if I wanted to dine in. They have a super clean decent sized play area for little ones, and I'm excited to come back with my toddler for dessert and play time! read more
