Food and service are usually very good. Got a Chicken & Waffles breakfast combo that cost nearly $16. Sandwich was a little bit on the dry side and small. Iced coffee was okay and the berry parfait was good. Their chicken sandwiches are very good and are known as their flagship product. Can't miss with the good old sando. read more

RAYMOND deserves recognition! I strongly recommend him for corporate as he goes above and beyond for the customer experience, Chick-fil-A is obviously known for this, but Raymond takes it a step further. to whoever owns this location, Raymond is an exceptional employee and deserves to be an owner. Previously, I did not have a good experience with the Poway previously, he changed that. read more

Food is solid and good 3.5 stars; service is average... not as friendly as your typical CFA when it initially started; inside is fine and has the fast food ambience; nice to have later than 9pm food options read more

This was my first visit to a Chik Fil A. Pleasantly surprised about the chicken sandwich! I got the Dukuxe with extra pickles and an order of the waffle cut fries. Sandwich was tasty. Brioche bun, nice crisp breast patty, big piece of lettuce and extra pickles. The waffle fries are signature here, I'm not a big fan, but they were served hot and crisp. I can see why the place is popular! read more

Food is great. The team strives to improve both the quality of food and service. At times, it can be inconsistent whenever there is a high volume of orders all at once, but the team members are polite and team leaders are readily available to help wherever it's needed. Recommended entrees: Spicy chicken biscuit, Chick-n-Strips, Egg White Grill muffin, Grilled chicken club. read more

Are we going to this Chick-fil-A for a while but they have been lacking they always forget my daughter's french fries and her kids meal my granola and my parfait my sauces. I always have to go back. I don't understand how you can forget that stuff and now I'm checking my food to make sure they do it correctly and I shouldn't have to do that.I read more

Okay Chik-Fil-A, you guys have kind of messed with me one too many times now. Our usual CFA is Carmel Mountain and we loved it but we just moved deep into Poway a few months ago so we've since started going to this location. Every time we order fries from this location only half of the container is full. It's appalling especially when you pay for the upgrade to large. But if I don't upgrade, will the medium be half packed as well? In any case we haven't complained about it because honestly who wants to be that person, right? Until last night... I ordered a berry parfait after a recommendation from a friend. I was so excited to try it. This what it is advertised as and this is what I got. WOW. I paid almost $6 for this? CFA POWAY PLEASE DO BETTER. This is embarrassing and it makes me want to 1) boycott chik fil or 2) just drive all the way to Carmel Mountain. So so sad. I hope management fixes this because I'm spreading the word to all my friends. read more

We order employee lunches for 10 - 15+ here via UberEats quite often, but this may have been the last time. The team at this specific Chick-Fil-A location shows us time and time again that order quality and accuracy are of ZERO concern to them. The photos attached to this review are just one example of multiple sandwich mods that were not adhered to. You can see that the sandwich in the bag is clearly not a deluxe, nor is it on the multigrain bun requested. Yet someone working there thought it was a good idea to pack it into this bag, AND the team member bagging the order didn't even read the label to see that deluxe sandwiches don't even go in these baggies? I used to work at another Chick-Fil-A location, and this kind of negligence would NEVER fly with my team leaders or owner/operator. This is unacceptable, especially when you're receiving a larger order from a local business that wants to support you when they get lunch for their employees. We were also missing multiple orders of fries, and didn't receive all the sauces that were added on to our order. I would not recommend this Chick-fil-A location to anyone wanting to place an order for a larger group of people. read more

This location they always messed up the order! They re-fry the potatoes and they always forget to ad items from rewards. Not one time they have said have a "BLESS DAY" which is the chick fil a motto! read more

Went through the drive thru after a long day with the kiddos. I was helped placing an order on the mobile pad of a southwest salad with a substitute of the marinated "spicy" chicken for the regular grilled chicken and no cheese. After I got home to Julian, and tried sharing my chicken with my 9 month old, only to find out it was the spicy chicken. I feel sorry for the cashier because he is always grumpy or disgruntled when I come by so it's not welcoming. If I see him outside, I purposely go in the opposite lane. As I was the last car there, he came up anyway. Accidents happen, the salad still had cheese too. I just feel like I get better service from other locations. read more

Very poor overall experience. First, they forgot my order, which I was willing to overlook but what happens next is very unacceptable. I waited 10 minutes at the dining area watching everyone get their food, so I decided to ask them about mine. When I got to the front, only the trainee cashier was available, and he was occupied with taking orders. Since there was no one else to help, I stood in a "customer service" line with two other people waiting for assistance. Finally when the trainer lady who was helping the trainee cashier take my order walked out of the kitchen, I said "excuse me, I-" and she tells me "I'm leaving" and walks out the building. Both people waiting in line with me were just as shocked as I was. I understand she clocked out, but at the very least she could have asked one of the employees to help me. Another worker who I assume to be the manager walked out of the kitchen and I also said "excuse me, I wanted to-" but she interrupts me by saying she has other orders to fulfill right now. I was ready to just leave, because the only reason I was at this chickfila was for my smog check, which by then finished around 15 minutes ago. When she finally came back to assist me, she approached me from behind and asked "how can i help you" in the most annoyed tone. I explained how it's already been 30 minutes and I'm wondering if my order is still being processed. She then goes to the back, shovels some waffle fries, shoves a chicken sandwich into the bag, grabs two chickfila sauces, and heads back to me. All she said was "sorry for the wait. Have a good day." I bolted out of there, and I do not advise anyone to go to this location. Not only did they waste my time, but they handled the situation extremely poorly. Not to mention the waffle fries were soggy too. read more

Their food is top notch there, but I just can't stand it when they say " Is that all" they end up making a mess UP IN my Order. Been here a couple times recently. I went to the counter today around 3pm. The staff were not friendly, I had to ask to have my order taken and while my order was being taken the dude taking it would make me repeat myself up to 4 times because he was looking away and was very preoccupied. Once I got my food I took it to my car to eat only to have my fries be ice cold, which has happened to me the last few times I've come here. My sauce was also not included. I asked for my sandwich to be lettuce wrapped and there was only one small piece of lettuce on the whole thing. Very disappointing especially from chick fil a read more

Second time in a row visiting this location and having my order messed up. I ordered just one item. A grilled chicken sandwich. First time they messed up they forgot the chicken breast on my sandwich. I drove back to complain and not even an apology. This time, ordered the same sandwich, and no honey mustard sauce. I'm a regular Chick-fil-A customer who visted the Poway, CA location several time recently. Food is good as always, but the restaurant is very dirty inside. Food and trash on the tables, chairs, and floors. Trash cans overflowing. Bathrooms messy with broken paper towel dispenser. Place seems fully staffed, but no one is cleaning anything. If the customer facing areas are this dirty it make you wonder what the food prep areas are like. read more

UPDATE: 4 months later Visited this Chick-fil-a location and the store was 10x better than the last time we were here. It was a busy night and not one table looked like someone had just left. There was also another gentleman constantly clearing up tables and checking the trash bins. Happy to come back! read more

I came here on a late Friday evening to pick up dinner. It was close to closing time. I placed my order on the mobile app before getting into the drive-thru lane. Chick-fil-A just opened in Poway and we Powegions have been waiting a really long time for this restaurant! I know there is one in Carmel Mountain Ranch but who wants to drive so far. Wanted to check it out so I rolled up for lunch. This place is huge! They have a two lane drive through and an outdoor seating area. They also have an inner playground for the little chickens. The inside had a line, but they seem to have it all figured out already because it moved fast. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a lemonade. Let me tell you both were delicious! I will be back. Some perks: They have an app for rewards points. You can call in your order and they have a pickup area. (see my pics) read more

I don't know why, but this chik -fil-a does not toast its buns for their sandwiches. We ordered here multiple times the chicken sandwich but we are getting consistent non toasted buns. Even if the sandwiches are described to be served with toasted, buttered buns as part of the food description this specific site seems to not toast them. If there's an option to give this Chick-fil-A a zero I would. Tonight, around 9:25 PM, my wife and my daughter went to this Chick-fil-A's drive thru because the one near us at Carmel Mountain already closed. They ordered a grilled-chicken wrap meal, fries and another drink, pretty simple right? but when they gave the order they forgot the main item which was the wrap. By the time they got home around 9:40-ish, my daughter realized her food (wrap) is missing and she is really hungry coming from her dance class. So my wife asked me to go with her before they close at 10 PM to get the missing item, and by the way I was already in my pj's. At the drive thru we explained and they said that the wrap was indeed left behind. They automatically gave an *extra* wrap which I was not expecting and so I asked for the manager and the attendant gave another fries and again I did not ask for. No one is going to eat the extra item (late at night) as this original wrap was only for my daughter. I asked for the manager but refused to come to the window and told her worker that the company policy is to give out fries for the troubles. All I wanted is to get a meal credit for the next visit when someone is actually going to eat the meal. This is frustrating as a customer when the wrong is clearly them and would not even apologize for the inconvenience and as you know time is money and the gas cost to get back there. The drive thru attendant stated that the manager's name is Valerie but the receipt cashier says Valerie as well. So, it sounds like she did not want to give her real name. Please DO NOT GO to this Chick-fil-A, I would go to the Carmel Mountain one where at they fix their mistakes. I hope this helps. read more
