Okay Chik-Fil-A, you guys have kind of messed with me one too many times now. Our usual CFA is Carmel Mountain and we loved it but we just moved deep into Poway a few months ago so we've since started going to this location. Every time we order fries from this location only half of the container is full. It's appalling especially when you pay for the upgrade to large. But if I don't upgrade, will the medium be half packed as well? In any case we haven't complained about it because honestly who wants to be that person, right? Until last night... I ordered a berry parfait after a recommendation from a friend. I was so excited to try it. This what it is advertised as and this is what I got. WOW. I paid almost $6 for this? CFA POWAY PLEASE DO BETTER. This is embarrassing and it makes me want to 1) boycott chik fil or 2) just drive all the way to Carmel Mountain. So so sad. I hope management fixes this because I'm spreading the word to all my friends.

We order employee lunches for 10 - 15+ here via UberEats quite often, but this may have been the last time. The team at this specific Chick-Fil-A location shows us time and time again that order quality and accuracy are of ZERO concern to them. The photos attached to this review are just one example of multiple sandwich mods that were not adhered to. You can see that the sandwich in the bag is clearly not a deluxe, nor is it on the multigrain bun requested. Yet someone working there thought it was a good idea to pack it into this bag, AND the team member bagging the order didn't even read the label to see that deluxe sandwiches don't even go in these baggies? I used to work at another Chick-Fil-A location, and this kind of negligence would NEVER fly with my team leaders or owner/operator. This is unacceptable, especially when you're receiving a larger order from a local business that wants to support you when they get lunch for their employees. We were also missing multiple orders of fries, and didn't receive all the sauces that were added on to our order. I would not recommend this Chick-fil-A location to anyone wanting to place an order for a larger group of people.

Southwest salad "without cheese" as per ticket
Rebecca B.

Went through the drive thru after a long day with the kiddos. I was helped placing an order on the mobile pad of a southwest salad with a substitute of the marinated "spicy" chicken for the regular grilled chicken and no cheese. After I got home to Julian, and tried sharing my chicken with my 9 month old, only to find out it was the spicy chicken. I feel sorry for the cashier because he is always grumpy or disgruntled when I come by so it's not welcoming. If I see him outside, I purposely go in the opposite lane. As I was the last car there, he came up anyway. Accidents happen, the salad still had cheese too. I just feel like I get better service from other locations.

The place was cleaned. Not a lot of people dine-in here. The bread of their chicken sandwich seems ordinary. Artisano burger bread is more tasty.

Dirtiest location I've been too. Staff doesn't clean booths, floors or tables. The staff complains about it being busy.

The crowd of people was what you would expect for 10 am on a Saturday but there was virtually no wait. Just enough time to thoroughly browse the menu, take in the beautiful display case of baked goods, and by the time you've decided what you're in the mood for, you're at the register. After placing our order we headed upstairs to find a table and no less than 10 minutes our food had arrived hot and fresh. I ordered the Short Rib Benedict which was heavenly and the Coconut Matcha Cloud with oatmilk and seriously one of the best matchas i've had in SD. Thank you to everyone at O'Briens for the wonderful experience and outstanding service!

When you enter youll notice all the parking to your right is all taken, but dont fret, there's more parking in the back. If that's all full you can park on street i suppose where a lot of cars were parked. I came on a Sunday so it was rather full and I almost parked on the street until I gave it another go at the parking lot. A lot of people come and go quickly though. A lot of people make phone and online orders so you see the doors to the entrance opening and closing a lot around lunch. There are also tables outside of the restaurant under a canopy like cover. The benches have qr codes for the menu. When you enter you go to the order dine in line or online/phone orders line depending how you ordered. There's only 2 tables downstairs but the rest of the tables are upstairs. There's a bathroom upstairs and downatairs. You can also order through the kiosk for to go orders or you can go to the register to order for dine in and to go. At the line youll see your pastries and the bread and there will be a menu book right before you get in line and at the register. You order and then they call your name when your order is ready. You can find a table after you pick up your food. Or you can order at your table and someone will serve it to you. I got a strawberry eclaire and a banana creme brulee. I also ordered a cubano... bc you know. I loooovvve cubanos. I got into it when I watched Dexter when it first came out. Dexter loved cubanos! The eclaire was fantastic. The custard was good and the whip cream was delicious! This was a very nice eclaire. The banana creme brulee was good, just different than what i was used to. It tasted cakey. Still good though. My cubano was pretty good too. I loved that it was on a panini flat bread and toasted perfectly. The pork was bland but the ham made up for that. The cheese was great in the sandwich and overall this sandwich was good, not bad at all. The fries it came with was pretty good also. Its a bit pricey but I think the quality and taste makes up for it. The cashier was nice and helpful. By the time lunch was about over, maybe around 2pm, it wasnt as busy at all. Id definitely come again!

Earlier in the year, I visited a sweetgreen in Orange County and had such an abysmal experience…read morethat I considered not visiting a sweetgreen anymore, even in Los Angeles County where I currently reside and had much better visits. Sweetgreen's customer experience team took my feedback so seriously, even mentioning they got the facilities team involved, that they basically wanted me to give them another try, promising that my next visit to any location, whether in Orange or LA County, would be way better. Well, how about a visit to a San Diego County location instead? Wouldn't that be the ultimate test?! lol Anytime I go to a sweetgreen, I won't know if the ordering process will be like the Long Beach location or like the other three locations I've visited, including this one. If you're in Long Beach and are curious why that location is different, I invite you to check them out at Long Beach Marketplace to find out how different (or just read my review lol), but here, it's the traditional setup similar to Chipotle, Subway, Blaze Pizza, etc. I personally do not like this setup because if you choose to add multiple toppings to your entree, you won't know how much extra you have to pay until you get to the register unless you're that nagging customer who asks about each and every topping upon building your entree. In my case, I wanted to keep things simple. I had just enough points in my account for a free entree, up to $18, but sometime in the last few months, sweetgreen added a new reward option for a free wrap, but only up to $15. It was 500 fewer points than the free entree, and with 500 points, you could get a Crispy Rice Treat, which would normally be $3.65. Mathematically, the free wrap would be a better reward than the free entree, so I wanted to use my points for a free wrap instead, plus the Crispy Rice Treat. I came in and saw only one customer in front of a female employee. A couple minutes later, Brandon came out to assist me. I had my eyes on the Molly's Big Dill Caesar Wrap since it was a nickel less than $15, but also an entree I hadn't seen before. Brandon mentioned it was new, like about a week or two, so I chose it, though I did want to ask about the "AYOH!" that was mentioned in the description. I thought it was an acronym, but it's more like a different type of mayo. Since I didn't want to do any customizations, I ordered the wrap as is, especially if it made Brandon's job easier. He even allowed me a choice of a sauce besides the Caesar, which the Caesar wrap would come with. However, I don't know how Molly would feel about a non-Caesar sauce in her Caesar wrap, so I kept at it with Caesar. He did ask how much sauce I wanted: small, medium, or heavy? I just said between medium and heavy; he added a generous, but reasonable amount to my wrap. I scanned my QR code at the register, and he was pleasantly surprised he didn't have to request payment; he was under the impression that I still would have had to pay the tax, which I was willing to do, but I kind of knew I didn't have to based on my Orange County visit. I made sure to tell Brandon I wanted to redeem my points for the Crispy Rice Treat as well, so then he tried ringing me up for the Crispy Rice Treat, but for some reason was having trouble. After conferring with his female co-worker, he just decided to give it to me on the house since he wanted me to save my 500 points for a later visit?! Unheard of! Such a pleasant surprise that I immediately forgot about how frazzled my mind was when I first entered. As his female co-worker was wrapping up my wrap, she found my receipt, which was on the other register, and I wasn't sure how that happened? Not only that, the receipt has "Lilly" as the employee helping me, but her name wasn't even Lilly lol. Anyways, I also asked for a bag, and she got a small paper bag for me, no hassle no problem. I also made sure to grab a water cup and some water before heading out. I unfortunately didn't have time to eat inside, but I saw they only had two tables: one for two, and a long table that could seat about a half dozen. When I finally got around to eating my wrap, I was pleasantly surprised at how everything tasted! Molly really did make such a great wrap! And all the ingredients tasted so fresh that I was willing to overlook one small ingredient in the wrap that I don't think was edible? Even the Dill Pickle AYOH! was great! Where else can I get a helping of this specialty sauce?! I tried the Crispy Rice Treat later that day and loved it! It was like a healthier version of a Rice Krispies Treat. Maybe give those out instead of Rice Krispies Treats this Halloween season?! Did I mention how great Brandon was? Impractical idea, but I wonder if sweetgreen would send him up to Orange County to train the team there on customer service? lol So glad I gave sweetgreen another try albeit in a different county! Now I need to try another free Crispy Rice Treat before my points expire next month! :O

The waiter then came to say they were out. Which is confusing for a full bar. But ok. My boyfriend ordered a Philly cheesesteak and coleslaw. The sandwich was dry and he only ate about half. The meant tasted like it had been microwaved. I ordered the padres burger and tots. I took about two bites before the bun turned to mush and fell apart in my hands. I peeled the bun off in attempt to eat the meat inside. The bacon was so hard and overcooked. The waiter came to ask how the food was and my boyfriend said it was gross but we were hungry so he ate half and asked if half the price of his sandwich could be removed. A couple minutes later, a woman came over to ask what was wrong. He said the food was not good and she responded aggressively "oh but you ate it" and pointed at my food. I looked at her and said "what, I'm eating my food" and she got very angry. She then stormed off while yelling across the restaurant at us. She stated I looked at her funny. My boyfriend asked if she was the manager and she replied "does it matter?" and continued to argue across the restaurant making a scene. The lady in the booth in front of us turned to say she was in fact the owner. My boyfriend said "I offered to pay for half of it" she then replied "I'm comping it so you guys can leave." Super crazy aggressive energy from the start. This was our first and last time, what a joke.
