Visited the Pasadena location, which to our surprise was empty. Granted, it was about 2:30pm so that is probably why, lol. The service was prompt but what I found impressive was the layout of the CFL. This is like the Jiffy Lube of Chick fil lay's. Essentially, it is one long drive way to the Drive Thru, so you will not be in stuck in the street in a large queue. The design allows for plenty of in store ordering, so I you wanna take a break and sit to enjoy your food, boom! Everyone at CFL is always courteous and accommodating. The perfect business model. Went through the drive-through to pick up lunch for three. One of our items was the Cobb salad. I asked if we could get a second different dressing so could pick fav. Told me I could either exchange or pay $0.55 for a second one. It's not about the $, but it is about having a $40 drive through order and not getting a second dressing. Finding parking at this Chick-fil-A location may be a little difficult. However, I knew I wanted to visit again after two horrid experiences at other locations. I am glad I gave it another try, because this location is how I believe the others should have been run. I ordered my usual Spicy Deluxe with large waffle fries, and this one actually came with a normal amount! I also ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and the sandwiches overall tasted as expected. I have to admit that on the grilled chicken sandwich, the grilled chicken felt a little flat and wimpy. I didn't enjoy this too much. What's up: We were in the area picking up wine and wanted to grab some Chick-Fil-A since there was one close by. A mobile order was placed ahead of time but we turned into the wrong driveway and ended up trapped in the drive-thru lane. Guess our carry out option is turning into the drive-thru one instead! Parking: Parking was decent around 4:30 pm. We don't come to this location very often but apparently they block off their second driveway and dedicate it for drive-thru only. Makes sense, but would have been helpful if there were signs like "drive-thru only". So note to self, next time, use the driveway closest to the building. Environment: Despite the long line, drive-thru wasn't really that bad. It went fairly quick and the staff members we interacted with were friendly and easy to talk to. There are 2 lines for the drive-thru and placing your order ahead of time helps the line go faster! What was ordered: - Grilled Chicken Sandwich (tasty, but I like the classic chicken instead) - Medium Waffle Potato Fries (portion size looked a bit small, but it was nice and crispy) - Cookie (so yummy!) What a phenomenal job these team workers and managers do to run this show. Always a lengthy line that is so coordinated, never a long wait, delicious foods and workers that finish off with my pleasure! I truly dislike this location. They always have some sort of policy in place whenever something goes viral or if you ask them to modify. They give excuses as to their management is strict on these things or whatever it was that this guy said. Well today, as much as I did not want to go, I really wanted the iced coffee with shake base. Turns out they don't do it there because "it's a management policy". Same as when I tried ordering a wrap and asked if they could sub the regular chicken for spicy and they said they don't do that there. I'm always telling them, it's always something at that location, whether a "policy" or a modification orrrrrr their poor attitudes during peak hours. Like I understand you're by PCC and you may get so much traffic, but why you mad at me?! It's so crazy to me how they're literally the only location that gives me shit. Always, never fails. Since they could not make the iced coffee, I asked for an ice cream cone and the male employee put that I wanted it in a cup, which wasn't even the issue. They were sweeping their floors and they had the ice cream near the trash can and a lot of other food, and the guy proceeds to empty the dustpan into that same trash can and touches the cone. The male who was handing out orders, proceeded to hand it to me like he didn't just see that happen! So disgusting. I find it funny how every chic fil a is able to modify and serve the iced coffee without issues, plus one of the girls I know who works for chic fil a said corporate sent out a mass email to all locations about the iced coffee potential traffic due to it going viral on TikTok, and showing them how to ring it up. But this location always gives you shit and I'm sure lies about not being able to do it because they probably just don't want to. That's my assumption. I could be wrong, and so if it is in fact management, then they're a bunch of dumbasses!! Those employees are rude and more often than not have a nasty ass attitude. Since we've only gone here during COVID, we also take the drive thru and the staff are INCREDIBLY nice and helpful. They always make us feel welcome and are very efficient and organized. The line in the drive thru is pretty long, but it moves relatively fast most days. The food here is great, and my kids love Chick-fil-A. The food is served hot and freshly made to you. Location/Parking: Located on the SE corner of S Bonnie Ave. and Colorado Blvd. Believe it or not, but this location use to be a Burger King. Well how do you doooo, John. Great fun fact! If you want to eat right away, just park along Colorado blvd or any surrounding residential street. Just be vigilant of the parking restrictions. The last time I was here the staffer literally walked me through the whole process while I was in my car from ordering to getting my food. She was very nice, friendly, and attentive. Food: Must get the deluxe sandwich which consists of a boneless chicken breast, green leaf lettuce, tomato, american cheese (there's other cheese options to choose from: pepper jack and colby jack), and served on a toasted buttered bun or a multigrain bun. Ingredients were fresh and the chicken was moist and yum! The nuggets aren't bad also. It's about the sauce life. Make sure you load up on the sauces. I've been coming to this location since they opened, but I FINALLY tried their breakfast menu for the first time. I got the Chicken, Egg & Cheese Biscuit and it was absolutely amazing just like all of the food at Chick-Fil-A! But I can't believe what I've been missing all of these years. I got the combo which included Hash Brown Bites and a drink of your choice. This location is constantly busy, but the drive-thru moves pretty fast, so you don't end up waiting very long. I would like to start off by saying yesterday I try to go to other Chick-fil-A... and that one had horrible service from an employee not the manager. There's a reason this store has so many reviews and seem to be true for my first time in the area. So here it goes.... I understand that you're busy here. How hard is it to make my fries fresh and a little extra crispy? So Mrs. owner I hope this message finds you and understand that not. When I finally got to the front, the bill was almost $15. I said, "No, I have free biscuits." The associate said I had ordered five. Uh no. Then the manager stepped in and insisted I ordered five. I said, "Maybe five come in the little box, but it's just me. I'm not ordering five orders of hash browns." She's mad and still arguing with me. Talking about that's prolly what I ordered. I don't think I've ever been so happy in a fast food place like I was here. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars I would. Everyone should come try it out. I go to this chick-fil-a quite often as a student of the city college next door and I have got to say it is the best one I have ever been to. The customer service is always phenomenal and the workers and some of the kindest people I have ever met! I door dashed food and an entree was missing so I called to see if it was at the store so I could pick it up (which defeats the whole purpose of door dashing) and she said she didn't see a sandwich anywhere and that I have to handle it through DoorDash. And the sauces...I tried a few and can't decide which is my favorite they are all so unique and tasty. Due to COVID restrictions they have everyone wait outside. There is a door from which they bring out orders and take orders.
