This year has been a hard year for us in Southern California.... Disneyland raised their prices way beyond affordability, gas prices have fallen so I can no longer say that Starbucks is cheaper than gas, Kobe is retiring from the Lakers, and the El Niño has yet to come.... Yet we receive more bad news... The cashier Ryan will be leaving on Tuesday from this location. With almost 2 years of impeccable service, I have never know a fast food cashier as wonderful as Ryan. As you may know, I frequent fast foods quite frequently and you meet a lot of great people... Ryan was one of the best. I wish him the best at In-N-Out, which is conveniently across the street. For what it is (fast food), it's REALLY GOOD! I forgot I was eating fast food. I've been eager to try this place and finally was able to yesterday. I had the chargrilled chicken sammich, some waffle fries, and a fruit cup. The chicken actually looked like chicken, and there was a huge piece of fresh romaine and a tomato slice. I put the honey bbq sauce on it - good stuff. Waffle fries weren't greasy and they were quite scrumptious. Fruit cup was pretty good too. I bet their chicken biscuit sandwiches are awesome. This place reminds me of In-n-Out.. everyone seems happy to be working there. I'll go back when I'm in the area. UPDATE: Today I went for breakfast after taking my cat in for her kitty hysterectomy. I had a chicken biscuit sandwich and it was so so good. I didn't even need to put any sauce on it, it was that good. My mom and I were also blown away by how incredibly friendly and helpful the guys behind the counter were. The store was beyond clean. I kept asking my mom "is this really a fast food place??" because it was such a good experience. I don't know if all Chick-fil-a's are like this, but now I'm curious to try others to see. read more

Their spicy Chicken deluxe sandwich doesn't even come close to Popeye's, I sampled both, 2 days apart and, Popeye's has it hands down. The bun is better, the chicken is crispier and is seasoned better. CFAs chicken was kind of soggy, so was the bun, as if they were sitting in a steam tray for too long. The sandwich had to be pre-made because the guy came with my food the instant I sat down,.... He must have followed me to my seat. And, I don't know what is in that Chick Fil A sauce but it tastes awful, like rancid mayonnaise or something. Yuk! I also agree with the poster who complained about the traffic in the parking lot. They share a parking lot with In and Out Burger so the parking lot is jam packed. I can't even get into my bank next door most of the day and they do absolutely nothing to appease the situation. I went to this location and ordered nuggets and a lemonade. I waited inn an incredibly long line, but I generally like the for and it's worth the wait, but when I left the drive thru realized they had given me strips. Oh well, I giggled is eat then, until I bit into the nastiest slimy disgusting strip I'd ever eaten. I went back to get my nuggets since I couldn't choke down that strip, say in line for anther 10 minutes to have the employees not care in the slightest. You cannot imagine my level of frustration. I came through the drive thru tonight and ordered $50 worth of food for my sister in law who is in labor and my family supporting her and my brother as they welcome their first born child. I ordered for all to keep spirits up and feed the weary and when I arrived at the hospital and emptied the bags, only half my order was there. It wasn't just one item but 2 large fries, a Mac and cheese and a 12 nugget meal were all missing. I should have known when the window was promptly shut in my face that this person was not happy with her day and that I should check my order but I didn't. I tried calling at 9:55pm when I arrived at the hospital but no one answered. Probably munching down on my bag of missing items. What a downer. So much for customer service. The Chick-fil-A in Orange is a weekly staple for "Fun Lunch Fridays" at our office. It's a bit of a trek from Anaheim, but it's well worth it. Green receipts, BOGO offers, Groupon deals or not, we always end up coming to Chick-fil-A! My default go-to meal is #8, the chargrilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and pickles, with the sweet iced tea and waffle fries. The honey-tinted Chick-fil-A sauces mixes with their uber-cool Ketchup packets to compliment my sandwich and fries. Afterwards, I always get my drink "refreshed" by the constantly nice, friendly, and welcoming staff. What can I say, I LOVE CHICK-FIL-A! I usually go here all the time, but this time a employee got mad at me because he said I asked for too much sauce I usually always get 5 sauces and nobody has a problem with it. He offered to sell me tub and I declined. He kept on insisting I buy a tub. I felt uncomfortable and felt he was being hostile towards me. He told me never to do it again. I have been going to this chick-fil-A for years. I enjoy the high standard of customer service and the food is always good. I went just a few days ago and noticed the drive through has changed. There are now 3 stations you go through, order, pay, pick up. The pick up at the window is totally different. They now have employees standing in the drive through running food to cars. It was a bit over whelming because at the time we had 2 cars pulled ahead of us waiting and people running back and forth asking if my name was Beth or Jessica. In all of the confusion we were handed what I thought was all of our food but honestly I was so stressed about getting out of there and not sitting in the new "meal pick up" area that I drove off without checking my order as I typically would do. Turns out once we started going through everything my daughter realized she didn't get her drink and a fry was missing. I get trying to be efficient with time management however I am not a fan of the new drive through area and out experience proved why. read more

Meh... It's a chicken place. The food is good but a bit pricier than I'd have liked. I made it to their grand opening a year ago and based on the fan-fare and hype, I figured it would be great. I got a chicken sandwich (not sure which variety) and some cris-cross cut fries and wasn't really impressed. I also found it a bit odd that they close on Sundays. But then, I really have only stopped here for workday lunches anyway. Final word: It's a great stop if the In-N-Out across the street is too busy. read more

Normally chic fila is on point but today I ordered two meals through the drive through and they tell me the condiments I asked for (mayo and ketchup) were in the bag. When I looked there was only one ketchup packet and no mayo. So I got out of the car ( defeating the whole purpose of a drive through) and went in for ketchup and mayo. Got back in to rush back to work and then I see I have two half full containers of fries. 9.00 a meal for a chicken sandwich and half a thing of fries. Awesome. read more

I'm a huge fan of Cick-fil-A, but I'm always a little bothered by the fact that I have to pay for tomato and lettuce. Also the prices are a little high for what you're getting, but nevertheless, I always ante up when I'm in the area. The chicken sandwiches do in fact taste better than anything else out there...which I guess justifies the inflated prices. I like the both the regular and the spicy chicken sandwiches, I'm always a sucker for coleslaw as well. This Chick-fil-A no longer offers all the different sauces on the counter like they used to. read more

Finally! When I came back home during Thanksgiving break I saw that a Chick-fil-a was opened next to In&Out. You don't understand how joyous I was to see this wonderful sign hovering over the 55 freeway. Lived in California all your life? Never experienced the quench of sweet tea??? NOW YOU HAVE TO GO AND TRY FOR YOURSELF! Oh how I've missed you so! It's the fast food chain that created the original chicken sandwich. You might be surprised that they put pickles in their chicken sandwich, but suck it up because that's how you're supposed to eat it! Make sure you get packets of mayo and ketchup and smother it all over your sandwich. For a fast food chain the service was freaken awesome! One of the workers went around to see how you were doing and if he could even get you a refill! Speechless, huh? This place closes on Sunday because the owners believe that Sunday's should be given off to their employees, as well as attending church, or spending time with your family. Can you tell I love this place? It takes me back to Georgia without the 5 hour flight. read more

As a franchise, I think this place is great, 4 star at least. But this location, I hate this place. I feel like I have to check my order constantly. We usually go to our local Chick fil a but we came to This one instead since we were by the area. First of all we came during a really busy time the service was great and the food came out quick. My son accidentally dropped my husbands spicy deluxe so I ordered another one. When they brought out the meal my husband noticed it wasn't the right one so I told the girl it was a wrong order she said no worries will fix it. Call me crazy but I am sooo greatful for the Chicken Sandwich! Think about it, if there was no chicken sandwich we would be eating burgers all the time! We get chicken! And not just any chicken, we get some of the best tasting chicken in the world! Yeah, I said it! Can you handle that? Some people can't and they say it's just another chicken sandwich; well my friends, that is like saying that Michelangelo was just another Italian guy. The chicken that we get is so understated in it's perfection it almost brings a tear to my eye! The fact that this sandwich can bring such happiness and joy to the masses is just another reason why it is so great! Ok, so I went off into my own little world for a minute but this Chick-fil-a in particular does not dissapoint. They are always very friendly and prompt with service and greetings. I went here in the morning and got some chicken mini's and waffle fries, which they will make for you if you ask. The food came out hot and fresh. Me and a couple of friends sat at a table and demolished the food in front of us. We sat and talked for a bit and had two seperate employee help us, the first employee cleared our table (kinda like a full service restaurant, but they didn't accept a tip) and the second came about 10 minutes later and got us refills. My all-time favorite fast food restaurant. Been eating at Chick Fil As for years. The BEST thing about Orange County Chick Fil A restaurants are their specials. Every month there is a new deal going on at all of them. This month they're celebrating 6 years of being in Orange County. To celebrate, every customer will be receiving a free sandwich next week. Each day of the week will have a different sandwich available. They also regularly hold "receipt months". For example: you make a purchase any Friday of a specific month. Come back ANY day the following month with that receipt and you'll receive the exact order entirely free! The Santa Ana Chick Fil A in particular does a great job interacting with customers. They have their own Twitter account (http://twitter.com/cfasantaana) which they use to give away free food every week. As for the Chick Fil A in Orange... the restaurant is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The lady who works the seating area is always going around checking to see if anyone needs refills or their tables cleared. The food, of course, is delicious! It's quality food that you'll forget is "fast food". There are some great items on the menu for people looking to have a healthy meal. Namely, the Chick Fil A Chargriled Sandwich. Less than 300 calories and very few grams of fat! Be sure to check out the nutrition menu though.. some items are NOT good for you (Chicken Salad Sandwich, I'm lookin' at you). read more

Ordered two deluxe combos. When we pulled up and paid, we noticed on the reciept they had messed up and charged us for one combo and one sandwich. I've been around quite awhile . My first job was fast food and I was the best at getting our customers thru the drive thru on their lunch hour . So my standards are pretty high with customer service in general ! I don't eat at Chick -fil-A that often but when I do, I'm amazed at the service . World Class service . I love chick fil A and love this location but have been disappointed with the decision to not allow dine in when the rest of the state/county has re open dine in. Well it would have been nice like previous visits but on my most recent visit I had to wait approximately 10 minutes inside to order as they had a single register open and allowed people to cut the ordering line, extending the wait. At least they still got my food correct after that wait. read more
