I don't normally come to this chain because the long lines fir the drive thru drives me crazy. But, being a girl of convenience, i came today as it's in a shopping center with 2 other places I need ti hit (Safeway & BevMo). So, I skipped the drive thru & went inside. 1 person in line ahead of me, placed my order, received my plastic table order number and by the time I was got my utensils...my food was delivered. So fast! And, my food was so good. It's nice to be able to get a hearty bowl of chicken soup instead of a sandwich. I did splurge with some fries as I was not sure how good it would be. Came here on a Friday night. Never been to this location since it's been open and I've always seen it busy. Thank goodness when we went it wasn't packed at all. The drive thru has two places but there always workers out there to take you order. The food, my daughter loves their kids meals especially their Mac and cheese. I always go for their southwest salads and the avocado ranch dressing is so tasty! I love their waffle fries as well especially when they are fresh and salty. I like how their drive thru is very open in space. I think they did this so when you get your order from one of the workers you don't have to wait in the line. Decided to succumb to my Chick Fil A craving to drive over to this location. I love the service at this location and they were pretty quick! I typically go to this location once a week during my lunch (around 1 pm) and it was not busy as I expected. It was pretty chill in the Chick Fil A and the employees were great! There was lots of parking and the restaurant was spotless! I ordered a 12 Piece Nugget with fries, lemonade and an 8 oz Polynesian sauce. Stopped by but went through the drive thru because I wanted their vanilla cold brew and some hash browns as a cheat meal snack lol Went on a Saturday morning and the drive thru line wasn't long and it went by fast. This location is in the same center as 24 hour fitness so lots of traffic. The building looks new! They switched the coffee cups from plastic to double layer paper and I feel like they put less vanilla syrup than before even at other locations I've been to. I love Chick-fil-a!!!! So the food will always be amazing. This is their new location which is not good. It is near bevmo and 24 fitness. I lowkey think it is stupid to have like two drive-thrus and the workers have to walk to give you your food. I don't see the point of having the employees walk to your car. Why can't they just have the drive-thru merge into one??? Like the one near the Plant (Monterey Hwy) Well, it is whoever builds it chooses to do that so no hate on that. But my experience when I went there was horrible. I was with my family and we are going thru the drive-thru. A lot of cars which is okay because it is a recent location. I don't feel like everyday restaurants like Chick Fil A get much yelp recognition but they fill a need. I can order on the app and just about get something exactly as I expect it every time. I have never had bad customer service at Chick Fil A and this location is no exception. One thing to note here is that the bathrooms require a key code. For being open just a short few weeks now this Chick-fil-a is a well oiled machine. It's in an easy access great location with plenty of parking for all and a EV parking station right up front. The lines "2 of them" for the drive through are super long but they look to be moving fairly quickly. I opted to go inside and order, wouldn't you know it I was the first one in line? ha! Y'all stay in your cars!! The inside seating area is very roomy, I counted no less the 10 employees on the inside working behind the counter. Super friendly employee interactions but what's even better #1. After taking my order is employee walked around the corner said my name and handed me the food! #2. Not even joking about this one, it took me 15 minutes to drive to Chick-fil-A, place my order, receive my order, and get back to work!!! Seriously I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes!!! This is by far the smartest location to open in the Bay area. Clean source of protein right next to the gym... SAY LESS. I came on the first day of opening in the evening time. Orders were movin' & groovin'. Staff walking around to ensure cleanliness. I even saw owner Chris Johnson helping the staff, which is a great thing to see! Check your order before your drive off! Quality of food is hit and miss, sometimes you even get cold fries, they look like they were made few hours ago, stale! You have to beg for more sauce. This location is soOo clean. I like to come here and relax during the breakfast hours (6:30-10:30) with a vanilla ice coffee and chicken minis. It's my go-to for a protein packed healthy lunch. It's definitely a salad on crack. It has tortilla strips, chili lime pepitas, roasted corn, black beans, grape tomatoes, red bell peppers, and I always get the creamy salsa dressing with it. Mmmm. Super disgusting sandwich served. I live in a smaller town far away from any CFA so anytime we're in a bigger city we love ordering at this chain. This isn't a review for CFA as a whole. JUST THIS LOCATION. We were about to hop back on the freeway for a four hour drive home. My husband ordered to chicken sandwich's and I ordered a chicken sandwich deluxe. We started driving I opened up my box and it was very clear the sand which had been extremely old. The lettuce was wilted to almost brown. The inside of the bottom bun was mush filled with grease and the chicken was soggy to the extreme. On the drive home I developed a stomach ache. This place catastrophically misses the mark on the service side! I was passed a guest voucher that was issued by the store manager. The cashier was struggling to redeem it and the store manager stepped in to help. I was super excited to meet him, but he was not interested at all to talk to me or even acknowledge me. Why give vouchers in your name if you don't care for the people who receive and use them? When asked what sauces I wanted, I shamelessly asked to get one of each of the Chik-Fil-A sauces. I was immediately shamed in front of everyone! "You want all of them??!!!" He was only ok with just giving me one. The sauces are the reason I come to Chik-fil-A. At other locations, they are more than happy to give as many as you want. The sauces should also be listed somewhere as well. Not all customers know them by heart. If you are limiting customers to only one, then at least let us know the options. There were many employees working. I think they were all training but they weren't really working. They were just sitting or walking around. At other locations, they ask to refill your drink or offer to take your tray when you're done. Skipping this location from now on. Didn't feel like a welcome guest here at all... One plus to mention though, the team embraced diversity in their hiring. Great job on that note! read more
