Pretty much all the staff who spent time ignoring the cleaning or distracting the one or two hard-working employees from helping me

My standard disclaimer on reviews. I review everything from the point of view is what your expectation should be going to a particular place amazing sushi purchase at a gas station certainly would be a different standard than what you would get it Nobu. In this case, Chick-fil-A is ubiquitous. It should be amazing everywhere you go. This was the worst experience I've ever had in any Chick-fil-A and one of the worst that I've had at an airport. The facility was not clean, and although there was a mop and bucket and broom in peoples hands, they weren't being utilized. Three times I was greeted and asked for my order and within a half of a second the person turned away from me to talk with the coworker. This happened three times in a row until I know the tone of my voice was noticeably upset. nevertheless, they made me the milkshake which was all I wanted, and set it down heavily in front of me without the usual Christian courtesy. I really hope that someone gets in here and brings this place up to the standard Chick-fil-A.

Located in the Albany airport right after TSA (must go thru TSA to get to it). Long lines since it is Chick-Fil-A and front & center. Line moved fairly quick and employees were friendly. The quality of Chick-Fil-A regular locations versus airport locations is like night and day. The chicken was so soggy and chewy. The hash browns they gave us were like the leftovers they had - they weren't full round hash browns. This location needs quality control :-(

If I could give it zero stars I would. 2 menu selections, and the slowest staff in history. Waited 23 minutes from when the receipt was printed for 2 Chicken sandwiches and fries. I could've raised the chicken myself in the time it took to get my order. Then one of the workers asked me if I wanted a cookie. So I said "Sure" and he went to get it, got sidetracked and then went in the back again. No cookie.

I guess the owner called me and asked about my experience. I recounted my dining experience of a cold chicken sandwich. waffle fries that were not. they looked like those cheap fries you buy in the frozen food section, etc. said he was sorry and would send a coupon to make it right. took my address. never saw a coupon. par for the course for this joker.

Late, Lukewarm and greasy chicken minis meal.

Chick-Fil-LATE. Presumably at an airport one might expect a reasonable level of urgency in delivering fast food... fast. Not the case at the Albany International Airport this morning. My order was straightforward: chicken mini ( 4-pack) with the hash browns and lemonade. Some lady in the back seemed be in slow gear... After everyone behind me received their orders, I approached the nice young cashier who had taken my order. She "EXPEDITED" my order. THE FOOD: a sloppy, Greasy mess. I pulled away the chicken cubes and considered my poor decision. Serves me right for ordering fried food for breakfast.

But because they also serve burgers, I think a comparison to Roy Rogers is more appropriate (minus the fixin's bar I really liked). (Side note: There are no more Roy Rogers in New York State, they're only in Mid-Atlantic states at this point). The restaurant is tiny, with about 5 booths and a few small tables, but when I came in for lunch, it was immaculate. My first meal here was a chicken combo, spicy, with cole slaw. I really like their chicken; their spicy chicken has exactly the right amount of heat and flavor that I want. It's also extra, extra, crispy. I feel sorry for those who have to clean up after anyone who eats in, because there will be lots of batter flakes all over the place. And there's no sporks, it's all plastic forks, knives, and spoons. And now, for the picky stuff: You get a slightly larger amount of cole slaw than at similar restaurants. But the chop is finer, and there's more mayonnaise, so for me, it was too mushy. I probably won't order it again, instead I'll check out other sides. The biscuit was fluffy and less salty than at other places, but it was slightly dry, probably having been under a heat lamp for a while. The combo includes a fountain drink, from a smaller, older-style Coke dispenser for which there are only 6 options, one of them being sweetened iced tea. Unsweetened ice tea was not available as far as I could tell, so if that's true, your only unsweetened option is water, out of the dispenser or bottled. I found it amusing to see, in big letters under the counter, "We cook fresh all day," with about 3 dozen pieces of chicken under heat lamps in the back. Just how often during the day do you cook fresh? The bathroom was clean, but the dispensers were out of soap and paper towels. This is not a good thing for a place serving fried chicken. And it was only about 75 minutes into the day when I was there, I would find it hard to believe it was all used up in 75 minutes. More likely, it was never restocked at the start of the business day. C'mon, you can do better. This is easy to fix. I'll definitely be back if only for the chicken, but I do intend to try the burgers and also the other sides. If those are as good as the chicken, and the beverage and bathroom stuff gets better, I'll add more stars to a revised review for sure.

The space is large and spacious. We went for brunch and it appeared to be family friendly. It's a nice place to go after church or to catch up yet you can still have an afternoon cocktail. I ordered the biscuit and gravy and my friend had shrimp and grits. In addtion we had beignets and candied bacon for the table. The beignets are not New Orleans good but would never expect anything this good in Albany. My biscuit and gravy were good. The gravy was savory and the biscuit tasted homemade. It was a little to thick for the amount of gravy. However I would love to try the biscuit by itself with another entrée. The shrimp and grits are not Southern style they are New Orleans style. My friend felt they were ok. Now the candied bacon was a hard NO. It was heavily salted. You could not eat do to the level of salt. I am not sure if this was a fluck or how it's prepared. Unfortunately we returned to the kitchen and I never return anything even if I don't like it. However, our server Alexa was very helpful and provided overall good service. I wanted to try a representative sampling of their food, so I ordered a chicken parmigiana wedge, a large cheese pizza, and a 2 liter bottle of diet Coke. Out of the three items, the best part of the meal was - the diet Coke. (If you've tried getting Cocla Cola products from Albany restaurants and are a Coke fan, you understand this.) The pizza was pleasant, but decidedly average. The crust was not crisp, though reheating should help with that, which I shall find out with the leftovers. There was more crust than I normally like relative to the cheese, but it wasn't overly unbalanced. It was just a little too much on the crust side. The wedge, in conrast, had so much sauce I could not taste the chciken at all, and had trouble even finding the chicken on the sandwich. When I did, the chicken had minimal flavor. a good chicken parmiagiana should actually let you taste chicken with crisp breading, not soggy breding hidden in enough sauce to cause digestive distress. And yes, I did expereince digestive distress. I might buy their pizza again, but Albany's a decent size city, and there's lots of competition. But I won't be trying the wedge for quite a whle.
