Really disappointed in this location. I ordered a large order from here and when I got home realized that two of the items one of my family members ordered was not out in the bag. Upon calling to receive a refund, I was told that I could not be refunded over the phone and I would need to return all the way back to the restaurant to receive a refund or get the items for "free". This is the second time I had an issue with this location, the first was when a long piece of hair was in my fries. And the manager that day was able to refund me via phone. You cannot really expect people to be happy when they wait in a Saturday line for 15 minutes just to get to one of your dual Windows to find your employee is only taking orders from one window. I've always had the right order, and the food is what you've come to expect from CFA. This Chick-Fil-A is close to work so I come here with some regularity for lunch. The place is always packed (sometimes you can't even get into the parking lot because the drive-thru line is so long). Without fail, every time I pull up to that speaker and give my order the response is "my pleasure". However, I have been here in the evening on a few occasions and have had quite a different experience. The first time the employee took my order and repeated it back to me par normal, but there was no my pleasure to be heard. Maybe he had a long day, it was almost 9pm so I decided to let it slide. The next time I had a similar experience, I gave my order and only received my total. No order repeated, no my pleasure, nothing. The third time I finally got my "my pleasure", however when we pulled up to the window the boys inside were having a conversation amongst themselves. Barely any regard for the car outside and the content of the conversation was definitely inappropriate. We didn't get asked if we wanted sauce and had to request it after the bag was handed to us. Overall, the food is always good, the place is always clean, but the level of customer service seems to heavily depend on what time of day you visit. read more

Employe with the classic nose-out mask situation couldn't offer any explanation as to why the restrooms are closed other than "covid". Maybe it wouldn't have been an issue if he could've tucked that nose in? Has the staff/franchise owner never heard of cleaning? This CFA is such a great place to swing by for breakfast after gassing up at Costco on the way into work. Unfortunately a lot of people have figured that out, and the drive-through can get kind of busy in the AM. Even with all that traffic, they are unfailingly polite and get the order right. Hint: you can get the chicken and egg bagel spicy! They'll put pepperjack and a spicy filet on it. Get a pack of jalapeno salsa and you'll be ready to start the day right. read more

Had to find a somewhat healthy choice for my grandson after the movies so we settled on this version of fast food. Hit it at lunch time and the crowd was out the door and the carry out line of cars was causing a major traffic jam. But I was amazed at how quickly we got our food. They obviously got it going on at this location! They must have a crowd everyday like this as no one seemed flustered at all but me! He had a chicken sandwich meal and the fries were hot. In my opinion he destroyed the sandwich when he put ketchup and mayo on it but he ate the whole thing. Being 6 years old that's a good thing. He got a lemonade which I tasted and it was very sweet but not overpowering. Better than a coke I guess. I grabbed a chargrilled fruit salad and I was surprised how good it was. It had fresh strawberries, apples and tender chicken with a berry dressing. I really enjoyed it. I know they have the best chicken nuggets and have ordered them for parties so I guess that cow is right. I should eat more chicken. They even had a staff member going around the tables and clearing away your trays and asking if she could get you a refill on your drink. For fast food, this is about as good as it gets. The drive thru at this place is lightning fast, even at breakfast. This location avoids the "soggy breading problem" that I've had with chik-fil-a in the past. Everything I've gotten here has been crispy and hot, and the breading has had the perfect saltiness level. I'm a Chick-Fil-A "Red" member for the past two years (meaning I've spent over $400 per year here), and 99% of my visits have been to THIS restaurant in Arundel Mills, MD. They used to be very good. Now, they have gone downhill in a BIG way. There are 3 problem areas. One, food quality is often poor. Not the chicken; but the fries! Two out of the last 3 times I got fries there, they were horrible! Lukewarm, stale, and soggy. They need to train their employees to ONLY serve hot, fresh, and crispy fries!! This used to happen only rarely. Now, it's commonplace. They should be EMBARRASSED to serve such garbage! Mine went right into the trash. Two, orders are not always accurate. Got a grilled chicken club sandwich last week at the drive-thru. Got home, only to discover it had no bacon! This isn't the first time this type of thing has happened. Three, sometimes, along with your food at the drive-thru, you also get an unwanted FUNK (odor) that is on the bag and/or drink. (this happened to me today - along with the lousy fries) I don't know what it is. Could be from body or hair lotion, not sure. It's bad enough that you have to roll down your car windows!! Completely UNacceptable. Pro tip: AVOID this location. I can only assume they've gotten lousy management who are unaware of these issues. Clearly they have NO ONE periodically checking the quality of their food that goes out via the drive-through! Go to other Chick-Fil-A locations - and thank me later. read more

1/23/23 myself, my male friend & my tiny YET very visible puppy entered the establishment (my dog is an ESA). Anywho, we ordered grilled nuggets for my dog & received fried. Immediately, once we notice (never exiting the store) we walked back over to the counter to inform Carol, who I'm assuming was the manager on duty. She literally acted as if she was clueless & wanted a receipt. The original cashier came over to extinguish the bad energy Carol was exuding towards us. The kind cashier informed Carol we literally were just rung up & she had to charge us a difference of $2 for grilled nuggets. My issue is not the cashier, who Re-ranged us, but the AUDACITY of the Caucasian manager Carol, who lacked a warm welcome upon my arrival, being up charged after already being inconvenienced by mishearing my order & the passive aggressiveness displayed my the acting manager. Her own staff the member, (the kind cashier) & to pretty much tell her relax, because of how uncalled for her actions were. IM DISGUSTED! In a way it's a typical Chick-Fil-A. That said, it means that the customer service is above and beyond most business and pretty much all fast food places. If anything, Chick-Fil-A is like the gourmet restaurant of the fast food business. I go to this particular one quite a bit, at least once a week. I go inside and use the drive thru equally, without and without kids for both. The food is consistently good, fresh, hot, and delivered quickly and absolutely accurately (granted you don't speak to them like a dumbass). The family nights here are chaos, but I expect that. But the staff handles it very well. In the 5 years that I've lived in this area, I have never had a bad experience here with the cleanliness (it's very clean), the service, or the food. The ONE thing that bugs me (not a fault of Chick-Fil-A) is the (occasional, not always) overaggresive idiot drivers in the parking lot. Parking here can suck, if you go at the wrong time (it's often busy), but once you get inside it's all good. One of my (and my family's) favorite places to get good food. read more

I go to various Chick-Fil-A restaurants in the area on occasion for a quick lunch, usually at the behest of a friend that loves their food. Used to go more often when they had coleslaw because I find the sandwiches to be dry. I prefer the locations that prefer self refill of drinks since I enjoy iced tea with no sugar to wash it down. My wife and I stopped by here after some nearby shopping because it was late and didn't want to spend time in a sit down restaurant. I must say, this is the first time I have been treated rudely at one of these restaurants. It started off with the cashier saying nothing and just giving me a nasty look with one hand on her hip. So I finally broke the silence and started to give my order. Then I was interrupted with the usual fast food insolent "for here or to go?"! No greeting, etc. You know the drill. After a few such purposeful interruptions I would have just said forget it and went somewhere else, but my wife was hungry. I just cut the order short and told my wife I would just get her the sandwich and I would heat up something at home. Most fast food restaurants leave a contact email or survey on the receipt. Since this restaurant offers no such recourse I decided to vent my frustration online given no other choice. I won't be back here and will instead go to the location at Executive Park where the employees are courteous. I suspect it is because at least one adult is always present. I eat here way to often and I only ever have great experiences with the staff! They are the type of people who always go above and beyond! They host awesome kids events Thursday's, Noah's ark stuff your own animal every few weeks during snow day season in the winter, and every 3 months a bigger more special event (normally princess). Randy the ballon guy is super cool and his ballon art and magic blows every kids mind! The food is some how fresher than other CFAs (I have had a few bad salad experiences at other stores, never here). My wife is a Chick-fil-A fanatic, so we stop there everywhere we go, if there is one available. To summarize, this location had good food with outstanding speed and top notch service. This location is conveniently located outside the Arundel Mills mall (entrance 1), and with a medium sized kids play area (my kids all enjoyed it - 2/4/6). We have been multiple times, and after the first we were actually invited to sit down (to control the kids) and take our order at the table. The food quality is good (standard for Chick-fil-A), but they were really fast every time. One friendly employee usually walks around helping customers and getting re- fills on drinks. They also checked their stock to help us get the one missing kid-toy so we had all of them. The only improvement I could possibly offer would be a sidewalk straight through from the mall (requires going slightly around through the driveway). read more
