A little while ago I pulled up to the Drive Thru window and asked for 8 Nuggets, Waffle Fries, a Side Salad, and a Market Salad. I also said that I didn't get the Roasted Nut Blend in the Market Salad last week, and was told, "I'll make sure you them." Well, I was too stupid to rummage through two bags looking for them - and holding up the line even more - so I didn't get them this time, either. They've been open at the Greece location for about six weeks now, and the place is still more of a wait than I am usually in the mood for. It tried a couple of time a few weeks ago at non-peak lunch (about 3 PM) and the lot was full with a line of people out the door and the drive-through line out of the parking lot (but no longer creating a hazard on Ridge Rd). So I passed. I generally avoid Ridge Rd anyway, but I had business there today and decided to try again, this time around 4 PM. Shorter lines in the drive through. Took 15 minutes from when I pulled in until I was handed my order. The help is very pleasant. The one other time I tried Chick-fil-A was years ago in Maryland, and all I remember is that the chicken sandwich was decent and I was underwhelmed by the waffle fries, both in concept and in execution. I passed on those today. I chose a sandwich, no extra toppings or sauces ($3.85) and the chicken strips (3 for $4.15) just to get a good taste of the chicken. I ate the strips first. Very good, somewhat crispy without being dry, and the flavor was semi-sweet and very good. However, they are not a good value at that price for the size of the strips I got. The three in total on a roll would yield a much smaller sandwich than the one I got. For a little more money (about $4.50) I can go to a Walmart deli counter at one of the local superstores and get a three-tender meal with two sides. Before you sneer, 'Wal-Mart?', I say don't knock it until you've tried it. They DO overcook their 8-piece fried chicken, but of the many times I've gotten a tenders meal, the chicken has always been real white meat, juicy, with much larger pieces. The three strips from Chick-fil-A was equal to less than two Wal-Mart tenders. CFA strips are very good, just skimpy, IMO, and not a good value for the money. The chicken sandwich was excellent. In that segment for a premium fast-food sandwich in the $3-$5 range, it's worth every penny of the $3.85. If I'm watching my pennies, I'm going to go with 2 McDonalds McChickens at a buck each, can'r beat that value, but the quality of Chick-fil-A justifies the higher price. The pickles added just the right amount of contrast to the breaded chicken, which was moist - and hot - without making for a soggy sandwich. The flavor of the chicken doesn't need to be masked with lettuce and tomatoes. Summing up, I will go back - once in a while - for a chicken sandwich. read more

My experience with Chick-fil-a in the past has been good. The food that I've tried is good. My concern today is with the Customer Service. I was there today...W. Ridge Rd, Rochester, NY. Long line at drive up as usual. But that wasn't the problem. They had helpers taking orders ahead of the intercom. I paid with credit card with the helper. when I got to the window, there was another helper in front of the window. I moved up. There was no introduction from the helper outside the window nor from either of the 2 plus workers inside the window. I said my name. The inside workers said ok. The outside helper had her back to me (ignoring me) and leaned inside the window. I understood the outside helper was to help move the line along but during these times and how close she was to me...I don't see how this was observing social distancing. There was lots of discussion about a drink and she took it and delivered to another car behind me. Then she came back. There was more discussion about another order...whether person paid or not. Then she took it and came back with money. While waiting for change she turned around and said Hi. This was the first time she acknowledged me!! When she left the window again for a car behind me I asked the workers inside if my card did not go through? They said that sometimes orders come up in different order. Oh, looks like yours is coming up now. I was really upset with the lack of customer service. They did not acknowledge me when I got to the window. They didn't explain what was happening. Didn't say I'll be right with you....NOTHING! I was ready to ask for my money bk. I have never been so overlooked at a drive up!! I hope the customer training for these young people will improve pretty quick. If not I don't think chick-fil-a will last. Just some advice. Have a nice day! read more

I visited this store today 3/1/19 via the drive thru. CFA - May I have a name for your order? ME - Mike. CFA - May I take your order? Me - Chicken biscuit, a grape jelly and a medium diet coke. CFA - Can you repeat your order please? Me - What part? CFA - All of it. Me - Chicken biscuit, a grape jelly and a medium diet coke. (Much slower this time) CFA - Your total will be $5.12. I drive around and when my turn comes I hand the young woman my credit card. She then hands back the card while joking with co-workers never bothering to look at me. A short time later she hands me my order. I drive around to the parking lot to prep my biscuit and discover she gave me strawberry jelly instead of grape. Mildly annoyed, I return to the window. I hand back the packets to another CFA. CFA2 - May I help you? Me - This is not Grape. CFA2 - I'm sorry sir. She hands me the correct condiment. I drive off feeling less annoyed because CFA2 seemed concerned and was more professional. I take a sip of my soda and discover it is regular coke and not diet coke. Now I'm a bit pissed because have to go back to the store ( I was already down the road). I drive back up to the window. CFA3 - Is there a problem? Me - I would like to speak to the manager. CFA3 - Just a moment please. She goes and gets the manager. Manager - How may I help you? Me - This is my third trip thru this drive thru trying to get a very simple order corrected (as I'm handing him back the soda). Manager - OK. I'm thinking "OK"? WTF? He hands me back my drink. So I try again. Me - Sir, it has taken three tries to get this order right. Not good. Manager - Got it. End of transaction. Apparently the manager (I use that term loosely) could not be bothered to give a basic apology for a clearly poor experience. The people of New York are getting cheated by this type of unprofessional service. For the past 20 years Chick-Fil-A has given me service that is unparalleled in the fast food world. Maybe they decided rapid expansion is more important than providing the quality service and products that made them famous throughout the south and beyond. read more

My colleague has been raving about Chik for months now so I finally gave in and met her for lunch. This place is very clean. It has a large dining area with an enclosed kid-climbing area (great for play dates!) I don't do fast food often as it seems I'm always dieting (sigh) so I'll admit, the smell of chicken and fries sent me into euphoria as I took in an extensive menu of "forbidden foods!" Yesss, I was going to be naughty today! Waffle fries were going to happen, so I opted for a healthier entre: the grilled 8 pcnuggets. Marinated, tender, tasty. I ordered the meal with a Diet Coke, and it was almost $9 (Is that a lot? As I said, I don't do fast food much so I've lost touch with what a "good value" looks like). The service was great, the food was great, the sauce was great....I was in a happy place. Good news: the chicken was 0 WW points! The waffle fries were 9 WW points, so I guess it balanced out and I have no regrets! read more

If you are reading other reviews, take negative reviews with a grain of salt because there are people that give them bad reviews just because the owners are Christians. I placed a order for Chick-fil-A through the phone app. Once I arrived to pick up my order I was notified that they were all out of fries. I wish I would have be told this prior to driving there so I decided to cancel my order and requested a refund. I was told my Staff member that because I payed through the Phone App that they could not issue me a refund and that I have to call customer service for a refund which is a huge inconvenience. I immediately called customer service for my refund and now it's been over 2 months and still have not received my refund. The worst part is that I call once a week to check the status and they keep telling me that they have notified the store operator but he is not responding. At this point I am getting aggravated and I think I am going to go in the store and give the manager a piece of my mind. read more

My son and I went to Chick-fil-a to get dinner. To our surprise there was no waiting line. Service was fast, but chicken strips and waffle fries were substandard. Chicken strips had more fried batter than chicken on them. McDonalds chicken tenders are far superior. My son had chicken nuggets and weren't much better. Fries had definitely been sitting for a time, not fresh. I was very disappointed as I don't go to chick-fil-a often. Not sure when, if, I will go again. read more

I've really tried to like this store because being from the south and having moved north I miss Chick-fil-a. For those who know the chain well, this is the absolute worst in regard to food and service. In the past I have tried their chicken biscuit twice & was very disappointed because on both occasions the chicken was so small in didn't even cover the biscuit. About 4 months have gone by so this morning my husband & I tried again & didn't even make it to the food. We pulled up at 8:20am to the speaker on the right & sat there. Ok... people get busy. A vehicle pulls up beside us and almost immediately someone starts taking their order. My husband said "hello is this side working" and got a very snippy response "I'll be with you in a minute". It was the tone in the statement which took us aback. The vehicle beside us pulls away & another vehicle pulls up & again they take its order promptly. We had a vehicle behind us so we couldn't switch lanes. Finally we ended up leaving because we had to get to work. Very very disheartened. One of my favorite places so we just had to make it to OPENING DAY. It was slammed to the point we had to park across the street at the mall and walk over. Totally worth it. The food was great, the staff did a fantastic job getting everyone taken care of. We talked with a few of the trainers from around the country and they were all great. If you are unfamiliar with the chain just order a #1 and BAM! you're hooked. We've been waiting 9 years for a location to open in Rochester, so excited to have our very own. read more

First of all they messed up my name. Wrote Dwight instead of bryce ...went up to the window they said "Dwight?" And messed around laughing. Still messing around the girl confirmed my order. I paid her she handed me my bag. I drove off thinking I had everything. Missing half my order. I called to tell them and they asked if I could come back. Visited yesterday around 3:00pm. Parking lot was packed, but I got lucky and 2 spots quickly opened up and I snagged one. Line was out the door. The Mr immediately wanted to go leave, but after a 40 min drive I was not leaving without my CFA. Line moved much quicker than expected and once the order was placed, the food was out in less than 3 min. Got the 8 piece nuggets 1 order grilled and the other order fried. Also kids 2 piece strip meal. The Mr got the #7 bacon chicken sandwich meal. The meal was in three bags because both nuggets were to go. Good thing we were eating there because we got the kid meal fries but not the medium with the #7, until we brought it to their attention. Fries were ok. They could were not as hot as I would have liked but I ate mine and most of the Mr's too because I am a fries person and he is just not into them like that. Everything else was delicious and cooked well, but not overcooked. It was so good that I ended up eating everything there. So much for taking home the nuggets. And I ate them all myself. Lemonade was as good as I remembered. Customer service was excellent. Service was fast but attentive and pleasant. When I asked how many sauces I get with my order I was asked how many I wanted. I asked for 1 of each and that's what I got, about 6 or 7 in all. The food was so good that I forgot to use them so I brought them home to save for some nuggets. CFA is a bit of a drive and the nugget places can be stingy with the sauces. Got to try to get up early on Saturday morning to get the chicken biscuits. I absolutely love Chick-fil-a and regularly enjoy their food. When I learned that there was a Chick-fil-a near where I was visiting here in Rochester, and I knew we had to go. The service was great, and our food was out in minutes. The actual food itself was amazingly delicious! The actual restaurant was really clean and was set up really nice. There isn't much to complain about. Maybe the only stickler I had was the cashier didn't give us enough sauce, but thats my fault for not asking for more. The representation by management here is a joke. Today I spent 50 minutes in the drive thru for breakfast. Opening weekend was 35 minutes and I started 2 blocks away. Today was one tenth the distance. I was told by a manager 3 car lengths away from ordering and 3 minutes until breakfast ended that they could get my order. At this point I couldn't leave the drive thru line. When ordering I was told they couldn't. The girl then left and after five minutes came back and said she could but not all of it. I asked to speak to a manager. They left me waiting for another 7 minutes blocking anyone else ordering until he came out. He was incredibly ride and said if I was going to block his drive thru, here would call the police. I WAS WAITING TO SPEAK TO HIM!!!! he attempted to rectify nothing and walked away saying I don't have time for games. I WILL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL TELL THIS STORY TO ANYONE THAT WILL LISTEN. I was very excited to hear of this opening. i was highly disappointed. the service was fast, workers were nice. the food was not good. First they screwed up my daughters order. she was supposed to get chicken strips, but she received nuggets. we had take out and live too far to go back, so she ate them anyhow. those nuggets are the smallest nuggets ive ever seen. the chicken wrap was very dry, the cobb salad was ok, the waffle fries were decent, the chicken sandwiches were so gross! We decided to try lunch there today and they would not take our coupon. The server said the machine would not accept our coupon. We were upset, we would like to go back but are a little hesitant.
