Great location. Staff is always super friendly and very efficient. Food is reliable and consistent. We enjoy the breakfast as well as lunch and dinner, not much of a variety, but the chicken is pretty good, pass on the waffle fries. We placed a breakfast order this morning, like we do several times a week. 2 burritos, and a bowl. 2 with egg whites and one with regular egg. Regular egg burrito had mold all throughout the burrito. I called to let the manager know, because if I am being served moldy eggs, I am certainly not the only one. The manager I spoke to was rude, beyond rude. I asked for a full refund, she argued with me, told me to bring all the food back. I let her know my burrito was the only one with mold, but felt a full refund was appropriate. She repeated twice only my burrito would be refunded and to bring it back so she could check it. The managers entire response is unacceptable. You had mold in your eggs, this is your responsibility to make this right for me, the paying customer. You are not a detective. I do not have to go out of my way to bring the food back. The way the manager handled the situation is disgusting. I am going to post these photos, along with the managers response to social media, In hopes that when customers call to share a concern about their experience, it is taking seriously. And I hope in the future, this manager will rethink the way she handles guest issues. We are frequent customers, we give Chick-Fil-A an enormous amount of our business. During the pandemic chick-fil-a is the only place we felt comfortable eating. That has all been ruined because of the lack of quality and care taken on this experience. Do not come for a late lunch at 2:30pm. Came today. Line was busy but they didn't open 2nd lane until later and the orders in the other lane got taken and paid for before us even though we waited and got here earlier. Very frustrating if you're expecting a quick run for late lunch. Line moves very slowly. Next time it'll have to be In and out where things move efficiently and quickly. My family and I love this branch of Chick-Fil-A. Everytime that I've dined in the workers have all been extra friendly and even carried our order once to our table and got extra sauces for my daughter's chicken nuggets. The food here has always been consistent for us. I love their deluxe chicken sandwich (Love the fresh veggies!) and waffle french fries. They're always seasoned perfectly and always fresh and tasty! I can't say the same for the Aliso Viejo branch, which has always been consistently salty on all of their chicken dishes. I have yet to let my daughter run around in their enormous play area, so I will be back to rate them again once we've tackled that part of the restaurant. It sounds like other families have had good experiences throwing inexpensive birthday parties here. Maybe I'll keep that in mind for my next birthday party too. read more

Chick-Fil-A is an emergency restaurant for us, not a destination restaurant. What I mean is that the last time we stopped in, we were cycling 40 miles and wanted to do another 25 and ran out of energy, so we Yelped out this Chick and stopped in for a grilled chicken sandwich--it was an emergency--we were so famished. Another time, we got out of a concert late and nothing was open--we were famished again--Chick to the rescue. The food here is OK, it's just not quality enough and the value is not good enough to warrant regular visits so we save Chick for emergencies. First off I will say that I really like everything about Chick-fil-A. it's food, its culture and its customer service. That being said, this location is absolutely awful! I've given it several tries and usually either the food is bad or they get the order wrong. Today was the last straw. After waiting in the Drive-Thru for nearly a half an hour I received what was supposed to be my order of two breakfast sandwiches but instead they gave me one breakfast sandwich and one nugget. To top it off, the one sandwich they did give me was inedible. The bagel was badly burned, the egg was not cooked all the way and the chicken was very stringy and tasted of rancid oil. I will be so so so grateful when the dining room opens. I was told (when I asked) the reason it is not open is due to short staffing and training. I hope they've been able to hire more because it's clear it's becoming an issue to see the drive thru line block traffic to the Cane's & Target parking lot. It gets especially bad when they don't have 2 employees out taking orders & rely solely on the audio box. Be patient with the employees, they are trying their best and please, do NOT be the person who tries to "cut the line" and enter through the opposite side of where the line is forming. This is the worst Chick-Fil-A I have ever been to and I used to work at one up in Pomona when I was a young lad. My wife and I ordered a fairly large meal ($50+) about a couple months back. After waiting for over an hour, I drove over to this location and asked about the food I had ordered. They gave it to me and then I drove the short 3 miles home and roughly 15 minutes after I get home, they have a driver drop off the same exact order I had just picked up. I know what you're thinking; "you must have received it for free?" No. They charged us $50+ and when we called to correct the issue, no one was picking up the phone. We rang about 3 times and still no one would answer. Well, my wife left feedback through the app we ordered through and then that was it. Fast forward to yesterday and Julie, who is the manager, sends my wife some coupons for various items and a note that says only "We apologize". The best part, is when we went to redeem them today, Julie had removed all of the items and left only a single chicken sandwich coupon. I don't care about the dollar amount so much as the principle. My wife and spend so much on Chick-Fil-A every year (We are Red members which is over 15000 points per 12 month period or something like that) so just the back and forth BS as well as the rescinding of her apology was just kind of a slap in the face. My wife and I were going to start going back to this one because we stopped after our last experience and we did appreciate the apology, but given how inept the leadership is at this location (yes, Julie.. I am looking at you), we will avoid this location like the plague.. Mind you, if I could give 0 stars I would. This location has messed up several of our orders prior to our final order, and that is not really in-line with how other Chick-Fil-A's perform. Edit: After reading so many of the other experiences people have had, and how Julie Thornberry has behaved violently and threatening to customers as well as just poor food quality since she took ownership 2 years ago, I am going to work towards getting her terminated by the Franchisor. Firstly, I would just like to say that I love Chick Fil A and the food served there. It's excellent. However, this review is strictly regarding the change in management. The new operator at this store is plainly ineffective and lacking in comparison to the former operator (I believe their name was Erik Baker). I have witnessed this firsthand as they did not know how the drive thru procedure worked in coordination with mobile orders. I could tell employees became irritated by this with a change in demeanor since the summer. They seem unhappy with their work due to the difficulty management has imposed on them. Chick Fil A is a close thing to me as it has become a weekly tradition to get with my friend while on our lunch breaks from work. It is VERY inconvenient when we are unable to mobile order to save time ordering our food instead of being able to talk to each other over our meals due to the management disabling it. I believe that this is the only store to do so within Southern California as well. It's also ineffective to disable mobile ordering as it will just take employees additional time to take orders by hand. It has been sufficiently evident in the line that has increasingly grown since the closure of mobile ordering and caused problems with traffic for the center the location is in. I know I may be just a customer, but the easiest solution to fix all the dissatisfaction for your customers would just be getting Erik Baker back or someone just like Erik. I decided to come here for lunch today. Got my food and they didn't give me the right sauces that I asked for. Parked my car and walked in to trade them. Got home and I open my sandwich and they gave me the smallest filet ever. The chicken was so thin, and to make matters worse, the chicken was fatty, chewy, and hard. AND they gave me burnt fries. I've only used the drive thru here and I must say they have their system down to keep things orderly during peak lunch and dinner hours. There's two lanes that merge into one and there's people on foot to come up to your car to take your order. There's a girl at a podium who will hand you a bag of sauces before you pull up to the window and receive your food. The chicken sandwich is consistent. It's always hot to order, crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. You can't go wrong with any of the chicken on their menu. Now, for the rest of the stuff on their menu I need to say wtf?! I was extra hungry today so I ordered a combo with fries and a drink. This is an abomination to call what they served me as "fries." They're so dry they have me reaching for my water! Not to mention they are tasteless. It's like they never heard of salt before. I would suggest sticking solely to the chicken and not order the fries under any circumstances, ever! Stay away. Wow. I'm a huge chi-fil-a fan and this place really didn't feel right. I've been to many chic-fil-a's and this place isn't being run properly. I walked in and it was immediately apparent that the place hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Floors, tables and chairs were grimy and there was little bits of trash everywhere. It felt like a Burger King to be honest. They also made time-wasting (albeit minor) mistakes on my order. Couple this with the fact that they often don't fill fries more than about half-way, I'd suggest you skip this place. Whomever is running this place needs to be replaced with someone familiar with chi-fil-a's typical procedures. read more

After mingling with what seemed like every unemployed person in SoCal at a networking mixer at Saddleback Church, it was getting late and I needed some grub. I happened to remember Chick-Fil-A opening up down the street so I hightailed it over. Also remembering in the process that my free sandwich coupon was at home. Screw me. This location used to previously occupy a Wendy's but I was kind of surprised when I first moved here that there was an In-n-Out but no Chick-Fil-A. Those two places always open shop together. Oh well but that was quickly remedied by the economy now wasn't it? I'm not a frequent customer so I took my sweet time at the drive thru menu and probably bored the cashier with my endless questions. Does the combo come with this and that? Do you serve this? What kind of sauces do you have? Wait, can you repeat that again? What's a Polynesian sauce? What's in that sauce? Eventually after 15 minutes I let her take my order. I must admit she gets 5 stars for being so patient. I wish I had gotten her name but for now she's just the late shift girl and I asked for every single sauce to go with my #6 spicy chicken ranch wrap combo with the waffle cut fries. Good food and great service here. I love the flavor of the breaded chicken sandwiches, both spicy and non-spicy. I also like the chicken soup, side salad, fries and shakes here. The food and service make up for the portions sizes and cost. I do like to eat here for lunch but don't like to take my kids to Chick-fil-A because the kids meals are too small so I have to order them adult meals which costs more than desired to feed the family for fast food. I did struggle to eat here when I was doing the low-carb diet. They can wrap the grilled chicken in romaine lettuce but the sandwich is just too small without the bun. I love Chick-fil-a but I am done with this location for good. The ownership changed a few years ago and the service quality has steadily gone downhill. Many trips through the drive thru has resulted in getting home with the order to only find out something is wrong. Either something was missing altogether or an item was substituted with something I did not order instead of why I did order. Today I went through the drive thru and placed an order and when I got home I was missing a sandwich. The bag on the outside has the order on a sticker receipt, just check the receipt off as you put items in. I am done driving home only to drive back to get my order completed or corrected. Once is an accident, twice is a error, multiple times is a sign of operations and ownership. It's too bad because the old owner ran such a good store. I understand we have been in a difficult environment over the last few years but really not an excuse anymore. This is just a lack of interest from ownership. Yo, Foothill Ranch Chick-fil-A location... Why are you like this?? Where do I start? 1) I've lived in Foothill Ranch for over 4 years now and have gone to this Chick-fil-A location a handful of times in the past 4 years. And I kid you not, 8 times out of 10, they mess up my order. My point is, they have CONSISTENTLY messed up my order for a long time now. It's not that they've just recently gotten bad or they started out bad then gotten good. No, they've ALWAYS been like this yet I keep coming back because I am a hopeful kind of person. 2) Related to them getting my order wrong, anytime I order from the app to pick up, 100% of my app pickup experience has ended with me getting the wrong order. When this happened for the third time, I actually called the store to let them know. The order I received had the wrong name on the sticker. This is after I went into the store to pick up, the person handing out the orders said, "Rebecca?" and I said, "nope, Katrina." Then he said, "oh yeah" then handed me the bag. I went home, opened the bag and had a totally different order, looked at the sticker on the bag and saw, yup, Rebecca. I don't even know if I need to dig into this to properly explain all the levels this mistake could have been prevented but I'll just move onto my next point. 3) When I called to complain (again, this was the THIRD time they messed up my app pickup order - I calmly let go of the first two times), The guy said the owner will call me back to fix the order. No call back. However, a free Chick-fil-A coupon ended up in my app. Which I tried to redeem but JOKES ON ME because they GAVE ME THE WRONG ORDER AGAIN. 4) The drive thru line is a death trap. Especially with kids. Oh god, let me save you the sanity and warn you to not go in here if you have kids in the car. Drive down the street to McDonalds. Go home. Cook something from scratch. Any of these options will be faster than ordering through the drive thru. I don't care how they break up the lines in the car drive thru or how fancy they get with the iPads. It's still long as hell and will take them a minimum of 30 minutes to hand you your cold meal at the window. 5) The cold meal I want to talk about. I'm confused as to why I had to wait 30 minutes in the drive thru line for COLD food??? Does this mean it was ready WAY earlier than the 30 minutes I was trapped in the line? I don't understand. If the food is ready, why does the line take forever? Do they make the food out of order? I don't get it. This is really confusing. 6) The staff. This location has some great staff, some okay. But that's not what I meant. What I mean is, if you're the store manager and you know the lunch rush has a backlog of 30 minute orders, do something. Be better. Put more people on the lunch shift. If that's not working out, put BETTER, FASTER people on the lunch shift. I can spout of a bunch of solutions for you (by the way, I used to work at a Chick-fil-A way back when I was in college so I KNOW it's possible to achieve this kind of efficiency. I witnessed it first hand). Just...do better. My Chick-fil-A visits have been dwindling and it may become a permanent solution that I stop coming to this location.
