covid is not a excuse to be rude to people .. especially those that are working to feed people as well . food was over 40 minutes late to the customer because i had to ask many times about order. they ignored me repeatedly as if i were a piece of trash ... when my company finally called that's when they seem to find the order number and start the job. this will negatively affect my rating... this sucks. poor service i hope my company never does business again with this place read more

My go to place when I'm super hungry is to come here the people that work here are so amazing so nice and my favorite thing to get is combo number 8 the chicken wrap and the lemonade is the best (: it's so good and so yummy!!! I love this place I always come with my boyfriend read more

Do leave this place until you check your bags. My order wasn't right and I didn't get straws. I didn't realize his till I was almost home. I tried to call the restaurant, but no one would answer the phone. Really irritated. They don't have any customer service. read more

This is the best Chick-fil-A in the universe. Why? Because they have the best customer service providers. A+, EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING. Thank you for the most wonderful experience. It was my first time here and I've been to a lot of Chick-fil-A in L.A. but this one stands out. In fact, CHick fil A Downey is the best of all. God bless you more team Chick-fil-A Downey. read more

I'm doing a lunch run for the office and it's about 12:53 pm and I have to be back at work at 1 o'clock I was expecting to be in line 5 to 10 minutes since the habit across the street took about 15 minutes ordering my food. So I went through the drive through here at chick fil A.. ordering my food was 30 seconds. They have a guy that stands outside that takes your payment that took 20 seconds and my food took 10 seconds to receive at the next window. unbelievably amazing service!!!!! I would of made it to work on exact time if I wasn't driving slow for how crazy in shock I am for that service. You go Chick fil A Downey!! read more

Great as always, service on point! very friendly staff and its great that they let you have all the sauce and condiments you could need/want. read more

This is one of the best fast food chains around the food is always freshly made to order. clean friendly service id say that you probably get better service here than at a expensive restaurant. And its a plus that they dont open on Sundays to give their employees time with their family. read more

So ive been coming to this chik fil a all the time and ive never had anything wrong with any of my orders but a couple days ago i came here to eat with my mom and my kids and everything was going good we were almost done eating when i got one of the last fries which was those fries that are like the end of the potato (idk if you guys know which ones i mean) but anyways i bit it and it tasted nasty so i smelled it and OMG it literally smelled like straight ass like diarrhea or like sewer or something , so then i give the fry to my mom so she can smell it just to make sure im not trippin and as soon as my mom smells it she almost threw up, one of the girls passing by the tables we asked her to smell the fry and she didnt want to so then my mom is so disgusted by now that she took the fry to the front and she told a guy cashier to smell it and he also didnt want to so they call the manager and she also did Not want to smell it all they did was offer us a small order of fries and thats it but i dont know why they would not want to smell it i mean i would if i was a worker just to see you know but anyways after i got home from eating a very small amount of that nasty ass fry i got chorro and tmi i had it all night i just cant get that smell off my nose ughhh so disgusting everyone please smell your fries before u eat read more

I absolutely love chick fil a! It's so delicious and everyone is always so nice and helpful. I must admit they have the best warm cookies and their freshly made lemonade is to die for read more

Kid friendly. Not common in this area. Excellent service. Not what is expect from a fast food restaurant.

Good chicken biscuits and coffee. Haven't tried the salads yet. Breakfast is my favorite so far.

This place is just great! Amazing staffs and great food but filled with high school kids mostly!

I get breakfast here once a week. The food is always good but my chicken bagel eggs sandwich is always getting smaller every week I order it. Not gonna come back here as often anymore because of portion size. read more

This Chick-fil-A has the BEST customer service! The staff is so friendly and helpful, and everyone says "my pleasure".

Drive thru may always have a lot of cars but the wait is never long to me, the staff is always friendly and I also feel that they are very entertaining from time time, I've never been disappointed with an item missing from my order or a drink being to flat my only complaint would be that they're not opened Sunday's. read more

What awesome costumer service indeed! The staff is always very attentive with servicing costumers! And of course the food is amazing! Love it so far! read more

So I came and this cashier Nigel was so rude from the start. I had the worst experience from chik fil a and it was so unnecessary by the way he was acting while I ordered. Customer service is suppose to be good but what I got was TRASH. This guy made me upset by the way he talked to me! I always come to expect great service but that's not what I left with .....still ate my chicken though .... read more

I am never disappointed when I come to this Chick-fil-A. They are always so courteous and friendly. They greet you as soon as you walk in the door, their customer service is great and the food is obviously great. They have employees walking around picking up trash from your tables, getting you refills and asking if they can get you anything else. I swear every single chick-fil-a I've been to, in the east coast and here, has very nice employees and makes me want to come back again and again. One of my favorite things about this fast food restaurant is that they have their sauses out and available for you to get as many as you want. Unlike other fast food restaurants where they make ugly faces at you when you ask for extra ketchup. read more

This place has a vibe you can feel from the greetig at the door to the time your meal arrives and Samuel made sure of that!!! Thanks chik fil a for keeping quality a key in dinning in !! Great place after a long stressful day beings your mood right up with the great attitude everyone has here ! read more

Again horrible service the girl that takes the orders is super unprofessional. I'd fire her if she worked at my place of business. Do better. read more

Tonight I went through the drive thru at 9:59pm and while paying the cashier was being unnecessarily rude and being overly loud while talking through the headset as to why we were taking long. When we got to the window the associate named Yadelin was exaggerating the situation. They stuffed all of our food in one bag smashed on top of each other. They gave us five drinks in one tray holder. There were 6 of us so we needed place mats naturally we asked for extra bags. Yadelin said "extra bags?" While rolling her eyes. She kept rolling her eyes and giving attitude. We asked if there were straws in the bag and she said "THEYRE IN THE BAG" again rolling her eyes while huffing and puffing. That attitude is not needed in the work place it made me uncomfortable and I'm sure it made the other associates also. During these times I know tension is at a all time high but she should be happy a company hired her although having tattoos and a attitude like that. I was just one car of the night she probably interacted with I could only imagine the people that were actually rude to her first on what she did after. I do not think that's the image you want for your company and I hope something is done about this situation. read more

Real good place to eat. Always great customer service and great workers. Always greeted at the door which is weird but cool at the same time. read more

Very disappointed, poor customer service from management. I was encouraged by an employee that the spicy salad was her favorite and that it wasn't that spicy, (IT IS) after telling her I didn't like spicy food. I bought the spicy salad and asked for a honey mustard dressing to tone it down. When I got home and started to eat it. I found that is was very spicy as labeled. However it was extremely spicy that I was unable to eat it. I immediately called left my message on the machine. I informed them that I have pretty much the entire salad and would stop by tomorrow to see if they would honor a substitution since I was already home and not near the facility. The following day I got a call from the manager informing me that that would not be possible. I was surprised with the conversation. I had heard a lot of good things about Chick-fil-A not just about their food but about their customer service as well. I shared how a couple of weeks ago I went through an El Pollo Loco drive through in San Pedro hopped on the freeway to discover my order wasn't complete. They had left out a couple of ingredients. They apologized and 2 weeks later, when I was back in that area they honored my situation/story and I was given a new order and it wasn't even the same manager I spoke to 2 weeks prior. The Chick-fil-A manager on Firestone in Downey informed me that I would have had to come all the way back that night for him to replace it. He informed me that this facility was not religious affiliated when I commented about the customer service. FYI: I was not aware that Chick-fil-A facilities were not all operating in a Christ-like manner. read more

Good food but they REALLY NEED TO CLEAN THE PLAYGROUND. McDonald's does such a good job and I'm sure they get a lot more kids. We came at 7 am and my kids were the only ones in there. Their clothes , knees were sooo dirty..had to go straight to shower. read more

Went to this location for lunch. 20 min drive...(many options)... to get their but well worth the drive. Just fantastic service and the drive line was full. Now that my job has relocated me to Downey, CA, I have the extreme pleasure of dining at the Chick-fil-a there on a regular basis. I have been a huge fan of Chick-fil-a for years, but this Downey location really takes customer service to the next level. Obviously the food is amazing quality and tastes delicious, everyone who's anyone knows that! But what sets this location above 99% of fast food restaurants out there is their unrelenting attention to detail when it comes to satisfying and anticipating their customers needs. I'm a fan for life and thrilled that this Downey location is "my" Chick-fil-a! read more

The food was delicious as always and their customer service is amazing! The workers are respectful and their smiles will brighten your day. Thank you for being great Chick-fil-A Downey. read more

Best Chick-fil-A experience by far. Dined in for the first time today. The staff greets you as soon as you walk in which is nice makes you feel welcome. The cashier Paola was very friendly and helpful. The place is extremely clean and there is always a staff member cleaning and checking on you. No one is never not doing anything. Great food, great staff. read more

I love this place , they are always super friendly , but reading some of the reviews makes me realize we are all human and I'm sorry some people have had a bad experience but I've never had one here , 2 thumbs up to management and the employees here in Downey , they do a stellar job always and I'm Never less then absolutely pleased and wanting to go back for more , best chicken sandwiches I've had and awesome chicken nuggets , it's a must try if you haven't been read more

Love it here, the chicken sandwich are great and so is the customer service. I come at least once a week, have to get my chik fil a fix

the other day i went in and i'm guessing the manager had took my order. when i was ordering, he kept trying to rush me and i didn't seee why because there was no line. i specifically told him to him no pickles because i'm allergic and since he was trynna rush me, i don't think he heard me and gave me pickles in my order. i got an allergic reaction. Point is that nobody should be rushed and if they are, please listen!!!! read more

I remember Chick-fil-A from my youth as a kid in Jax, FL in the 1960's and eating at Chick-fil-A at Regency Square Mall. The food is pretty darn great, but the best things about this place is the service. Its obvious Chick-fil-A participates in the "Nordstrom / In-And-Out Burger" customer oriented school. So do not be surprised when the staff comes by to ask if everything is OK, ask to refresh your drink, etc. This aint McDonalds or Sears! The food has so far been very good. The fries are great, the food fresh and tasty. The sweetened iced tea is just like back home! I guess you might complain about some of the homophobic policies and beliefs of the CEO Dan Cathy and choose to hold your dollars on that. But I have learned at least they have made some changes at the corporate level to be more inclusive, so for that reason, I have allowed myself to start dining here again read more

They have a huge staff here and a big sauce selection. The food is okay but not something I would crave.
