Annoying when the drive thru keeps messing up our order. 2nd time this happens. On a lunch break, don't have time to go back and get it sorted out so we end up eating the food that was given to us Line is fast. Food is good. People are nice. Just gotta open all the packets to make sure the order is correct read more

This Place is Firrreee!!! Everyone is super nice! Very professional and everyone looks genuinely happy! Gave us the incorrect order, waited in line for 30 min just to get the wrong order. Didn't give us straws, napkins and sauces even after asking if they where in the bag. Not the first time they have done this. read more

Love this location! Super close to my home in Downey. I especially love the cashier Valerie! She is so sweet and always greets you with a warm smile! She even remembers what I usually order! Will keep going to this location. The food was awesome and made as soon as I ordered it. I was greeted by employees and asked if I needed anything else throughout the time I was there. read more

Y'all are better off driving towards the imperial location in downey; this location on Firestone by Downey high school has the rudest employees, very disrespectful towards ALL customers just sad. I understand customer service can be hard at times, but as I wait for my food I witness the nicest customers receiving rude responses from the employees.. the employees definitely seem as if they do not like their jobs by their body language, their sighs, rolling eyes and their tone of voice. Everyone is going through it, but shouldn't give the employees a reason to disrespect the nice customers if that's the case y'all need to stay home and figure out how to separate your personal life from your job because it ain't cool mistreating people. The guy who works a 10 pm shift with the curly hair wearing glasses at the register always has a bad attitude with every customer it ain't the first I've witness him be rude with customers he needs to check himself because it ain't cool read more

Dear Mr. Chick-fil-A l. I placed an order in the Downey location because they said it's not ghetto here. I was starving and expecting my deluxe burger. I only received my fries and drink. I'm very disappointed. Chick-fil-A is suppose to make you happy. I was already having a bad day and this experience made it worse. I'm never consuming from Chick-fil-A again. Bye. read more

Late night munchies drove my husband and I to go get us some chicken sandwiches. The long drive thru line was expected so we decided to go inside and order better. I kid you not, the restaurant and drive thru were packed & we still managed to order and be out with our food in less than 10 minutes!!!! Awesome Friday :) read more

Always a pleasure coming to chick-fil-a. Great, friendly staff, and you never wait long for your food!

I would give them a zero if I could for the way they treated me today. Very bad customer service and bad attitude from the multiple "managers" taking orders outside. They were accusing me of cutting the line when I in fact didn't. I go here multiple times as a regular customer. There's multiple entrances in the shopping center and I always go in the same way. There were no cones or signs saying there's a particular way to enter and no cones blocking the side entrance I came in through. There was two cars that came in through the other side at same time I did and the lady allowed me to go next when I waited and she signaled me to go ahead. (The line wasn't backed up into Firestone when I came in. It was backed up to where the Habit burger place starts which is where I came in through) when I'm about to order the girl looks at me asks to put on my mask then just walks away and doesn't say a thing. Then another person comes in and says I'm sorry sir we can't take your order because you came in through the side. I explained to them that when I arrived it was the lady behind me and another car and we gave each other courtesy and she allowed me to go in. She then leaves and calls another manager and he said they will not take my order and that I needed to go turn around in a very rude way. Very rude individuals I encountered there today with the exception of Edward who finally was kind enough to take my order so I can get on with my day. I mainly go here since my daughter loves it but today was a truly bad experience with the rude individuals taking orders outside. I'm always nice and courteous here and today they truly got me upset and made it a bad experience for me. They need to work on blocking off areas they don't want cars coming in through to avoid these issues in the future as that's their responsibility instead of being rude. read more

Love coming here! The staff is so helpful and friendly! Never see anyone who does not seem happy to help. They are also super quick!

Don't know why I bothered going here after reading multiple negative reviews! This location is the closest to my house (20min. Drive), got home only to open up my order and realize they did not give me 2 items I had ordered- including a side of Mac n cheese which was the main reason I went!! . However, they did not forget to charge me for them of course. If I could give them no star I would. Called 6 times and no answer!!! read more

This the one of the bast places I like to come and eat, let the kids play and have my drink fill up with out getting up. The places is alway full of people and there are lots of chair for you to eat at. The food is order and brought to your table with in 5 mins. The people are very helpful and on point. As for the place being very clean. When someone leaves a table they rite a way clean it. Over all the 5 stare. The one bad thing is the play Area. There are lot of kids in a small place. read more

Went to visit this location and waited in the drive thru for 45min just to order my childs kids meal and a chicken sandwich after ordering we waited another 15 minutes to pick up our food.Sorry we wont be coming back to this location, im a big fan but the wait is horrible read more

This place totally sucks. It's very noisy because they let a lot of kids from the high school hang around without buying anything. Those kids are rude and loud and also yell out lots of profanity and make a big mess everywhere. For a place that says they are family friendly it sure falls very short of this. Some workers are rude and sloppy like one named Luz. She doesn't seem to be doing anything and when you ask her for a refill or anything she says to ask someone else cause she's busy. When you complain to a manager named Aila I think is her name she says she will do something about your complaint but nothing happens. I have seen kids doing drugs in the bathrooms! So parents if you think Chik-fil-a is a safe place for your kids you are sadly mistaken. This place also needs to be clean. The bathrooms are gross and the floors are sticky cause they don't mop or clean them. Everyone from the managers needs to be replaced and I think corporate should consider taking this place and the one on imperial and Lakewood away from the owner operator and replacing him wIth someone who has the intelligence to really manage these two places because he sure doesn't. read more

First timer at chik fil a and honestly I really liked it. Im not from around the area so we decided to try it out. We came on a weekday and it was extremely busy with alot of high school students. Surprisingly the service was fast and we got our food quick. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich combo. First bite was the best. Ofcourse I took advantage of all the choices of sauces. Fav is the buffalo sauce and bbq. The honey mustard is just as good . The fries could have been better, very soft with no crispyness. Over all this is the best fast food restaurant for s chicken sandwich. Service was exceptional! Im sure after a few months itll die down. But still good concept for ordering and receiving read more

Im so glad there's a chik-fila nearby. Best service ever at a fast food joint and food is great. The team here is very polite and not just standing around. Always hustling and eager to help the customer. My 4 year old son got the 4ct. Kids nugget meal and found some cartlage in his nugget. ( before you say Ewwwwww! cartlage.... think about this. Mcd's nuggets is all cartlage and maybe not even chicken). Not a problem at least I know the nuggets are made from true chicken. I notified the manager and he was very apologetic and I understand that these things happen and all I wanted was to replace the one nugget. Manager gave my son an all new 6 ct. Chicken nugget box. I love chick fil a!!!!! read more

A fast food place that feels like home. A dear loved person would once make me fresh home made chicken nuggets, and his feels like just it. The taste is magnificent, the tenseness just pleasant, and the warmth satisfying. This is what I may consider a "fresh" fast food restaurant. The team here at chik-Fil-a. In Downey do so great they have like a eating area ambassador that is always looking to help with any refills or other needs you might have. This chik-fil-a is much more comfortable that other franchisees. Eat chicken everyday. read more

Imagine this* It is blazing hot outside, sun beaming, you're hungry and want something quick so you can take it home to eat. Okay now here is my rant: They messed up on my Drive-Thru order. I specifically ordered a "fresh" cookie and I got a rock-hard cookie and something missing from my order. I had to turn around and come back midway thru my trip back home. At this point, all of my food was getting cold and my Icedream in a cup was nearly melted. When I went in and corrected my order, I received a free 8-count nugget coupon but honestly, the value of that wasnt worth the $25 cold food that I ate by the time I finally got back home. I love CFA, but step it up Downey and don't rush me out of the drive thru when you haven't even put everything in my bag. (Talking about hispanic manager with heavy accent) On the cool side: I noticed this location does fun stuff like a daddy/daughter night and they were selling cute chicken Valentines cards. Thats pretty cool. read more

I drove 15 minutes to get to this place just so they could not have want I wanted to order. This experience has made me seriously never want to come here ever again. I don't understand why they don't keep the ice cream machines on during business hours. I wanted a god damn frozen lemonade but instead I got nothing. What a waste of time and gas. read more

Great service, but please do something about those unstable cupholders. My soda spilled all over the carpet.

This chick-fil-a is usually very good with how they manage such a large intake of cars and people, especially during these times we are in, but I'm writing this in hopes that management sees it, I went through the drive thru today and the line was incredibly long which isn't the issue, the issue is that in one lane there were 3-4 employees blasting through the line but in the lane I was in, there was only 1 employee taking care of everything, and every time I saw more employees showing up they only went to the lane that had multiple employees working already and not the one with only 1, that's not fair, and it's not fair to the employee and customers waiting, it's almost like people were avoiding her, and I've never seen it like that, the cars behind me that went to the lane I wasn't in all made it to the drive thru window and left almost 10 minutes before I got to it, like how does that make sense, I don't know how the employees are rotated around to work, but they need to have an equal amount on both sides, like that sounds like common sense I don't know, but that's definitely an issue, it slows everything down and makes people very upset, but anyways thank you for reading this and please this into consideration read more

Don't know if your employees get stressed during lunch rush, but rude and distasteful service from person collecting payment in drive through and person handing out food at window. Never received bad service before but today was a disappointment. read more

I left feeling mortified and traumatized. I was accused of throwing a sandwich at the drive thru cashier. I drove back up to the drive thru after a mix up and she asked for the sandwich. I hand it to her and drove up to the window. I want to mention that i even offered to purchase a new sandwich because I would hate the thought of people thinking I was trying to get a free sandwich but the cashier said there was no need to pay for the replacement. I was then accused of assaulting her. She claimed i threw the sandwich at her to her higher up. I was shocked and I couldn't get a word in while pleading for them to please believe me. Two of their, what seemed to be team leads, embarrassed me infront of other employees with their accusations. The only thing I can think of is that after she got in trouble for taking food back in the drive thru during a pandemic, her instict was to say I threw it at her. She even went as far as getting emotional and went into the store because she said I made her uncomfortable. I can't believe my initial conversation with the cashier was so casual and even friendly and it turned to bizarre accusations. I left in tears with my confused 5 year old in the car. This happened a few weeks ago but I keep getting these thoughts of the horrible experience. read more

Ordered for the first time. I had read the reviews but didn't think they could screw up our simple order. They did. We ordered a lemonade and 3 sweet teas. We got the lemonade and 2 cokes and some diet drink. The chicken sandwiches were extremely dry and the large fries did not fill up the packages they came in. For a $95.00 order I would think that things should have been better and correct. Won't ever go to chic fil A again. In Out is just 5 doors down in Downey. They're worth the wait in the drive through. Plus they're open on Sunday. Screw Chick-fil-A read more

Chick Fil A generally tops everybody and is known for their service, however this one is not. I've gone to this chick fil a and the people are always rude. Took the family to their favorite place to eat. Ordered for the whole family and the cashier made a mistake on the soda order and once another cashier was aware of the mistake she came to our table and took my son's soda out of his hand and handed him the right size.
