First time visiting this Chick-fil-A while traveling through Columbia, SC, and unfortunately it did not meet the Chick-fil-A standard I'm used to. The drive-thru attendant seemed very nonchalant and honestly acted like she didn't want to be there. She spoke so softly I had to lean out of my vehicle just to hear her, and she lacked the upbeat, friendly energy Chick-fil-A is known for. She also didn't ask any follow-up questions about sauces, condiments, upgrades, etc. -- I had to keep adding things myself. Thankfully, the young lady at the pickup window was much more pleasant and bubbly, and she happily helped when my condiments were missing. As for the food, the sandwich and nuggets were good as always, but the fries were soft and barely warm. Overall, disappointment is an understatement because I've honestly never had a Chick-fil-A experience I didn't enjoy... until today. I'm a Yelper, so I have to keep it honest. This location gets 3 stars at best from me. Hopefully the service and food quality improve because Chick-fil-A is usually an easy 5-star experience in my book. read more

This food was as good as any of the other chic fil a, but we waited in the drive thru at the window for the food order about 10 minutes until we were asked to pull forward and that our order would but brought out to us , which we waited there an additional 10+ mintues. Worst Chick Fil A I've been to. If you are looking to eat here as a handicap person, such as myself, then I would look elsewhere. This establishment does not provide clear and unobstructed access to their handicapped parking spaces. As a veteran and a handicapped individual I take serious offense to this situation. I also have family member that are paraplegic and amputee and with this parking situation they would not be able to access the restaurant . The next challenge was the Club salad that is my normal "Go To" meal when I stop here. By my picture you can see that the typical ingredients are missing. When I asked for the missing corn and bacon they just handed me a bowl of corn and bacon and sent me on my way. Had they been more attentive they would have provided me a replacement salad with all of the ingredients. By the time I finished wait for assistance, received the missing ingredients, and returned to eat my food it was way past cold for the chicken. I enjoy Chic Filet but this was my worst experience with this chain. Beyond the food, I am very upset that they don't take more effort to ensure that their handicap patrons are one of their top priorities. If they were in their shoes I bet they would see the challenges they undertake each day, and parking should not be one of them. read more

Ever wonder why this location is so packed? The food is fantastic. Very clean. Great, professional service. This is probably the only fast-food establishment that I can count on getting my orders right every time. But above all, the associates call me by name when I visit. This kind of customer service is rare nowadays, and much appreciated. Special recognition needs to be given to June, Jordan, Gabi, and July. I've given this location multiple attempts to change my mind before leaving this review because I love Chick-fil-A and thought I just kept hitting it on the bad days. To begin the parking lot is always a mess. The person outside taking orders just stands at the intercom so I don't see the reason of even having them outside. At every other location I've ever been to the person completes an order and WALKS down to the next car and takes their order in order to speed up the process. My average wait time at this location is 15 minute before my order is taken. Next the quality of food is not comparable to any other location I've ever been to. I've had many incomplete orders, messed up orders or food that was not prepared to an expected quality. I don't think this location even deserves a one star. I hope that someone of the corporate level will take notice and address these concerns. read more

The worst Chick Fil A ever for getting into a line, have some way to que up people already! Getting in and out is also difficult but that is not the reason for the stars. I rarely come to this location. The whole Harbison blvd has horrible traffic and the lights don't make it any better. About chick fil a: line is super long. Not sure if the inside or outside is quicker. Chick fil a typically is good at moving about 1000 cars per minute but this one struggles. The staff is friendly though and the food is good. I have been to Chick-fil-A in several states and I am sorry to say, this is my least favorite. The service of the store was okay. Hearing an employee going on about how he previously worked at McDonald's (to another employee,) from where we were eating was unnecessary. The woman who took our order was pleasant enough. The cleanness of the dining area and bathrooms was great. I'm not sure how they clean the kid's play area, but my kids came out after only a couple of min. saying the the whole play structure was wet. (We were there in the morning.) What I take issue with was the food itself. The breading on the chicken was more soft than crisp. It kind of tasted like it had been made before it was ordered. The hash-browns had been so heavily salted that the salt acted as a second crust. I have never found Chick-fil-A hash-browns to be too salty. read more

Called them and they offered no compensation but to replace the food. Went and got the replacement all the way from Chapin and that was incorrect as well. Just gave up. Needs to train the employees (aka Stephanie) at the drive through that if I customer keeps trying to use a coupon on their phone for free items and it's not working to ask THAT person to come inside rather than make the rest of the paying customers behind them wait for 7 minutes (yes, I watched the clock in how long this was going on). Like Kara B our order was incorrect and we did not check it right after going through the drive thru. We noticed when we got home. A HUGE inconvenience and the compensation was a free frosted coffee or frosted lemonade, small at that. After looking at reviews it looks as though it is not uncommon for orders to be incorrect at this location. I have never had to wait so long at a chick-fil-a. Several cars were asked to pull up in the drive thru to wait for food. Very few cars in line and very few people inside the dining area. Then when the food was finally brought out, none of the requested sauces, straws, or napkins were included in the bags.
