We have gotten food from here several times and love cava in general. However there have been numerous times where the order we placed is just not what we get. Whether it's missing items in a bowl, missing sauces or what seems to be the least amount of food they can get away with serving, I strongly recommend avoiding this location. We ordered two bowls both of which are missing several selections we chose and paid extra for. A simple "hey we don't have some of those items" would go along way. Not filling up the bowl with some leftover scraps and just overall skipping and not mentioning the fact they are out of some items. Love cava but this location is abysmal. read more

Luckily it wasn't busy when we first walked in at 4:45 on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to linger and learn the menu as we've never been to Cava before. The Auntie behind the counter was very kind and gave me a taste of the harissa paste. I ended up getting a hodgepodge bowl with many things in it because everything looked so fresh and delicious, Gary did similar. We love that the food is healthy and fresh and everything tastes delicious! They have black lentils! We opted to eat there, and because I couldn't finish my gargantuan bowl, I needed to go back in and ask for to go bowl. Also I wanted to get two more of those brownies-dang those things are unreal! It was so busy then! You must be very polite to the Aunties behind the counter especially when they're busy because they will snap at you if you don't wait your turn and don't say please and thank you. My sister and I got the Harissa Avocado Bowl and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken is always cooked perfectly and all the additions are fresh. We also got a side of the pita chips, which are seriously addicting. I love that they're always made fresh! The seating is nice, the space is always clean, and the ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. Every time we visit, it's never too crowded, the service is quick, and the staff is super friendly. CAVA has definitely become one of our go-to spots. read more

My family and I ordered Cava from the Lake Murray Blvd location opposite the QT and next to Subway and a smoke shop. To say that the food was inedible is a GROSS understatement. We ordered two falafel bowls. The falafel were ROCK HARD AND LITERALLY WERE petrified they were so hard and the rice in the bowl was definitely the bottom of the pot where the burnt and hard rice accumulates. I was so disappointed because I patronize Cava on a regular basis and started backing off because of the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and the decline in the aesthetic of the food. Let's be honest we as consumers first enjoy the look of the food before we ever consume it. To say that I'm DISGUSTED is also an understatement and underestimation of the disdain that I feel. If a customer patronizes your establishment and is served substandard thrown together food that I'm sure the staff themselves wouldn't eat what is a paying customer to do! Rate your mediocrity and ineptitude for what it is, an EPIC FAIL!! We spent money on food that I ended up throwing away because I refused to consume such trash! I have to be honest I will discontinue giving my time, money and resources to a company that obviously has no regard for their customers. For your sake someone needs to take this failure and use it as a teaching moment for what a restaurant SHOULD NEVA EVA EVA DO!!! Delicious, healthy, and filling. Very similar to chipotle. My mother and I both really enjoyed own food, would say it's better than the majority of fast food, at least health wise. The ambiance was casual but nice and clean, same as most fast food restaurants in nice areas. Think Mediteranian Chipolte. They have a build your own where you choose your base, protiens, toppings and sauces. You can also order a pre selected menu item that is made fresh in front of you. I cannot remember what the name of the bowl was that I chose but it was a bed of greens with rice on top, some fresh veggies with a spicy chicken. It was very good. I ordered it as a dinner and could not finish ot all. Salad for dinner and I can't finish it. That was really a treat. I have been to some similar places to this and most are about the same. The only thing I have seen in other places that I would have liked to have seen here is gyro meat available in one of the bowls. I didn't look to see if it was available as a sandwich but it was not in any of the bowls. Great healthy meal though. read more

The kicker, the other person's order that I received wasn't correct. LOL I called Cava 4 times to inform them of the mistake, but no answer. Cava is our new favorite fast casual spot. We love all the choices. I'm a huge fan of half arugula/half basmati rice base, personally. I highly recommend getting a pita to eat with your bowl too. Two bowls, a small drink, and a large drink set me back about $35. However! Totally worth it. Cava is like the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. They offer pre-made bowls, or create your own. You can choose multiple bases, including salad greens, rice, or pita. Several protein options include flavored chicken, steak, or lamb. Each bowl comes with dips like hummus, baboonish, or tzatziki. And, of course, the endless amount of fresh chopped veggies as toppings. The star of the show was Cava's signature fresh juices. I returned several times to get refills on their cucumber mint juice. 12/23/25 8:00pm I am a uber eats driver arrived to pick up an order on said date and time above customer ordered one item I walked in saw that the place was busy and understaffed so I waited patiently and remained respectful while workers were tending to other customers , after 30 minutes of waiting the young man finally had the opportunity to do my customers order and as soon as he is getting ready to do it his African American female co worker decided it was a brilliant time to tell him to not make my order and to make another customers order that had just walked through the door while I had been there for 35 minutes waiting patiently might I add. While other customers were not as understanding for one measly bowl. I had to cancel the order due to almost being there for 40 minutes. If planning to come to this location you might have to scream shout and let it all out and be disrespectful to the workers because that seems like the only way to get your food at a reasonable time , if you come to this location and treat the workers with respect and wait patiently they JUST might take 45 minutes for ONE singular bowl. The food here is very good. Think Mediterranean version of Chipotle. You have the option to build your own overpriced bowl or pita with your favorite rice, hummus, protein, etc. I've been here 5 times and these are my take-aways... Pros - the food is tasty, dips and sauces make it amazing, drinks are unique with no fake sugar or corn syrup, facility is clean, you leave full. Cons - service is consistently unfriendly, prices are set with the expectation that you are maxing out on toppings even if you don't, veggies count as a protein, the flavor is inconsistent depending on who makes the batch (I.e., rice, veggies). One thing that irked me is I ordered a side of hummus (they serve two flavors), the side comes with 3 scoops. I asked for 2 scoops of one flavor and 1 scoop of the other flavor and they refused to do it. Not a super big deal, but an unnecessary rule. read more

Wow I simply asked why my order wasn't being prepared. They were taking all the walkup customers and ignoring mobile orders. I did not receive my food until 11:32. The manager refused to refund me so I had to wait for my food I already paid on the app. NEVER EVER will I return to this Cava location again. Beware y'all. This location is terrible. The food is average. I've tried it twice. I'd prefer Tazikis by far. It is more fresh and bigger portions. The service tonight was not good. I ordered pita chips with my salad and was told that they had to cook some more. I hadn't gotten them to I went back and asked for them after I finished my salad. There was one person ahead of me at LUNCH time today, so it was empty and the TWO females took just over 10 MINUTES to serve one teenager. They were so confused they kept walking in the back and then walk to get dishes and then back to front it was ridiculous how they couldn't seem to comprehend how to serve someone both at once or even one at a time. maybe other location is better?
