    My salad!!! Sooo good!

Don't let the outside appearance deter you from coming inside this very welcoming restaurant! Cava was my staple lunch spot in California and I'm stoked there's one here in Columbia! The staff were super nice and the place was clean. Food was fresh and prepped. Drinks were all full and ice cold! If you've never been to Cava, it's like a Mediterranean Salad cuisine spot. Great for meetings, lunch dates, or pick up to go! You won't be disappointed, if they keep the standards as high as they are today when I visited. Can't wait to come back!

CAVA has become my favorite go-to for lunch! I typically place my order through their app to save time and pick it up from the shelves by the counter. They do have signature bowls and pitas, but I prefer to make my own. The Harissa Honey Chicken, Spicy Lamb Meatballs, and Braised Lamb are all SO tasty and flavorful. The veggies are always crunchy and fresh, and the selection of dips and sauces is fantastic. For drinks, I'm obsessed with their Blueberry Lavender drink, but the Cucumber Mint Lime is also delicious and refreshing. Their rewards program is also pretty good if you visit often. Overall, great for a healthy but filling lunch - will continue to return!

I have visited this location three times and each time I visited the service is always excellent. The server/cashier always pleasant and patient and they give you your money worth. Now the smell in building was not pleasant, I almost walked out because it smelled horrible. I am not sure how that table ate inside. My food was fresh and delicious. Now I will never visit that location on Gervais Street again.

We're visiting from out of town and the food is excellent! Upon entering there's a good amount of seating with great music, the workers were kind and patient when we were ordering, and there are many choices available to build your own bowl or pita wrap! The food is fresh and tasty, and I'm currently trying to take breaks in between eating so I don't inhale my food right away Definitely would return should I find myself in this area again!

Advice, ditch Chipotle and head over to Cava. Delicious ingredients and decent portion sizes. The pitas are big enough to easily feed two and the pita chips are delicious if you're a salt lover like I am.

After hearing so many great things about Cava I had to try it out for myself. Let's just say it didn't disappoint! Everything from customer service, cleanliness, knowledge of menu, nutritious options and taste! The staff was so welcoming and really nice! The red pepper hummus and the fried pita were spectacular! The lamb meatballs literally melt in your mouth and were full of flavor! I loved everything about Cava and I'll definitely be back!

The seating was comfortable, had tons of cushions so it was definitely a vibe. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. Came to the table the right amount of times and was pleasant as anyone can ever be. The food was on point! The gyro meat was seasoned to perfection. I opted to swap the rice out for their veggies and it was a great call. There were bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and mushrooms in there which complimented the meat perfectly. Their tzatziki is homemade and the perfect contrast to the dish. I'll definitely be back for lunch or dinner soon!

I've always gone with and recommend the chicken kebab. It comes with about 4-5 pieces of grilled chicken, yellow rice, vegetables, and side of tzatziki sauce. The grilled flavor of the chicken just mixes so well with the rice, so having that clean "chicken & rice" meal while maintaining the awesome flavors. The menu is pretty diverse, despite Mediterranean being their speciality. They offer other American dishes like burgers or even pizza; never tried them though, but options are there to diversify. Right now due to Ramadan, their hours are adjusted for dining in, so they stop seating people around 7:30pm. To go orders are the only option; not a big deal for me though. I highly recommend people to try this place out if they haven't; seriously a solid 4 star dining establishment!

I came in a few minutes after 10:00 a.m., the time they open, and while I don't expect a restaurant to be in tip-top shape the second they open, they did not seem at all ready for the day or to accept customers. I stood at the front for a few awkward moments before asking one of the hostesses if I was supposed to seat myself, when she replied "oh no, I'll seat you", and then led me to one of the nearby tables. Somewhat grossly, the tablecloth on the table I was seated at was covered with coffee stains from previous guests, which was kind of unsettling. I then asked for a cup of coffee, and was told that there wasn't any ready, and that I would need to wait a few minutes. Again, not a huge deal, but I would expect a breakfast restaurant to have some coffee ready by the time that they open. Second, when perusing the menu, I was not particularly impressed by their "limited breakfast" options, nor anything on their regular menu. I decided to go with a simple hot dog, and substituted the offered sides with an order of French fries, which ridiculously cost me almost $4 extra. In addition, my hot dog was fine, but nothing exceptional, and definitely not better than one I could've gotten at Costco for a markedly cheaper price. The one (1) bright spot was that the fries were very good, and of higher quality than most other fries I've gotten at similar restaurants. Finally, my server was nice enough, but a little rough around the edges and not overly attentive. In addition, the ambiance was pretty basic, with nothing about it that really stuck out. All-in-all, I wouldn't be adverse to returning to DiPratos on a Saturday or Sunday to try their breakfast menu, but I won't be coming back during the week, and wouldn't really recommend that anybody else do so either.

We tried to enter, but the door was locked. After a few mins. we tried again. Still locked. There is a table with chairs outside, so we sat and proceeded to wait. A few minutes later, the waiter (there was only 1), told us he hadn't bothered to open the door as the chef had not arrived yet. We said it wasn't a problem as we were not in a hurry and we could spend the time having something to drink (iced tea) and perusing the menu. After the chef finally arrived and we could order, we ordered the Dolmadaki to share and two entrees that came with salads. We told the waiter that we would order dessert after dinner. The waiter eventually brought out the salads. Nothing special, but very overdressed. He then brought out the entrees. (In between his service, he spent a lot of time looking at himself and fixing his hair in a mirror on the wall in this small dining room.) My chicken souvlaki was very dry, served in large lumps that were difficult to cut. Potatoes were ok. My husbands beef kabob was flavorless, and his red lentils also lacked flavor. At this point we were still the only patrons and Andrew was the only waiter. He then came over, and asked if we were ready for the check. We informed him that we each wanted to order baklava and that he needed to make sure that our check did not include the Dolmadaki which we never received. He acted surprised that we hadn't received the appetizer, in spite of the fact that we were the only patrons and he was the only waiter. He went back to the kitchen and when he returned he told us that they only had 1 baklava as the chef didn't bake any that day. We requested our check instead. He proceeded to say that the Dolmadaki would be out shortly, at which point we informed him that we did not want them as they were to be our appetizer, not something we wanted to eat after dinner. When he finally brought the check, I needed to ask him to remove the used dinner plates so that I could deal with the check. While I was very tempted not to leave any, left a very meager 12% tip that day. Due to all of the above (and the fact that the only bathroom had an overflowing trash bin, no hand sanitizer in the dispenser, and could have used a good general cleaning) we cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant. It was also interesting to note that when we left there were still no other patrons, but the restaurant next door was booming. Next time we'll try there.
