Veggie bowl with all the veggies/humus and falafel
    Chantay C.

The veggie bowl here is really great and Omg the pita chips is fried bread that comes out CRUNCHY.. YUM. My bowl consisted of brown rice, lentils, super greens and all the veggies. I like that this place has cucumber lime drink. Service was fast today especially being a Saturday.

My sister and I got the Harissa Avocado Bowl and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken is always cooked perfectly and all the additions are fresh. We also got a side of the pita chips, which are seriously addicting. I love that they're always made fresh! The seating is nice, the space is always clean, and the ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. Every time we visit, it's never too crowded, the service is quick, and the staff is super friendly. CAVA has definitely become one of our go-to spots.

Delicious, healthy, and filling. Very similar to chipotle. My mother and I both really enjoyed own food, would say it's better than the majority of fast food, at least health wise. The ambiance was casual but nice and clean, same as most fast food restaurants in nice areas. Only complaint was the person who served us was rather pissed off, I'm not sure what her problem was but she was not a happy camper. The rest of the people there were nice though.

Wow! Just WOW. If you are in need of a fresh lunch or dinner option, I highly recommend checking out Cava. They are a bit on the pricey end. Two bowls, a small drink, and a large drink set me back about $35. However! Totally worth it. Cava is like the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. They offer pre-made bowls, or create your own. You can choose multiple bases, including salad greens, rice, or pita. Several protein options include flavored chicken, steak, or lamb. Each bowl comes with dips like hummus, baboonish, or tzatziki. And, of course, the endless amount of fresh chopped veggies as toppings. The star of the show was Cava's signature fresh juices. I returned several times to get refills on their cucumber mint juice. I mean, talk about refreshing!

This may be fast food, but it is packed with a flavor explosion. The mix of seasonings in everything is so delicious. The service is fast and very helpful with recommendations. I bought a pita, but the grain bowls looked equally delicious. I can easily see us coming back to try the rest of the menu.

I was not too impressed with my trip to DiPratos, which was disappointing because it had been…read morerecommended to me by several different people, and I was excited to try it out. I came in a few minutes after 10:00 a.m., the time they open, and while I don't expect a restaurant to be in tip-top shape the second they open, they did not seem at all ready for the day or to accept customers. I stood at the front for a few awkward moments before asking one of the hostesses if I was supposed to seat myself, when she replied "oh no, I'll seat you", and then led me to one of the nearby tables. Somewhat grossly, the tablecloth on the table I was seated at was covered with coffee stains from previous guests, which was kind of unsettling. I then asked for a cup of coffee, and was told that there wasn't any ready, and that I would need to wait a few minutes. Again, not a huge deal, but I would expect a breakfast restaurant to have some coffee ready by the time that they open. Second, when perusing the menu, I was not particularly impressed by their "limited breakfast" options, nor anything on their regular menu. I decided to go with a simple hot dog, and substituted the offered sides with an order of French fries, which ridiculously cost me almost $4 extra. In addition, my hot dog was fine, but nothing exceptional, and definitely not better than one I could've gotten at Costco for a markedly cheaper price. The one (1) bright spot was that the fries were very good, and of higher quality than most other fries I've gotten at similar restaurants. Finally, my server was nice enough, but a little rough around the edges and not overly attentive. In addition, the ambiance was pretty basic, with nothing about it that really stuck out. All-in-all, I wouldn't be adverse to returning to DiPratos on a Saturday or Sunday to try their breakfast menu, but I won't be coming back during the week, and wouldn't really recommend that anybody else do so either.

I've only tasted their pimento cheese at the festival and the original is phenomenal! I'd purchase…read moreagain. Friendly staff! I'd definitely check out their restaurant/deli soon!

From the moment we stepped inside we were treated like family or close friends of the owner. The owner works in the kitchen but greeted us at the counter and helped answer all of our questions. He is extremely passionate about his food and you can tell he takes great pride in it through every delicious bite. Due to covid , they have limited staff and no servers but their dining room is still open. We thought we would be picking our food up at the counter. Nope, the owner graciously served us and would not accept anything less. The owner apologized for the way covid has impacted how they do business (which he did not need to do) and he was overall just a very genuine and pleasant guy. He even offered us complimentary damascus bread and baklava. Here's what we tried: -Damascus bread and hummus - the damascus bread was light and crisp with sesame seeds sprinkled on top and drizzled with olive oil. It was a perfect pairing with the hummus. The hummus was some of the best I have ever had. Creamy , with a hint of paprika. -Chicken, kufta and veggies special over yellow rice with a Greek salad. Flavorful, tender and delicious!! It was so good. The owner also brought us some tzatziki sauce and a spicy tobasco based sauce. Both sauces complimented the meats well . The owner asked us how we liked the spicy sauce to which we replied how great it was and he then brought us some to take home. It's delicious so definitely order some on the side! -Baklava - this heavenly Baklava combined honey-soaked layers of flaky phyllo pastry with chopped nuts. It was very good. You gotta try this place - you will not regret it. Everything about our dining experience was perfect and I will be back every time I am in Columbia!!

I think one of the best Mediterranean restaurants Columbia has to offer. I've been a frequent diner…read moreof this place for years while I resided downtown, but now that I'm a little ways out, it's a treat to dine here, but still really enjoy their food nonetheless. I've always gone with and recommend the chicken kebab. It comes with about 4-5 pieces of grilled chicken, yellow rice, vegetables, and side of tzatziki sauce. The grilled flavor of the chicken just mixes so well with the rice, so having that clean "chicken & rice" meal while maintaining the awesome flavors. The menu is pretty diverse, despite Mediterranean being their speciality. They offer other American dishes like burgers or even pizza; never tried them though, but options are there to diversify. Right now due to Ramadan, their hours are adjusted for dining in, so they stop seating people around 7:30pm. To go orders are the only option; not a big deal for me though. I highly recommend people to try this place out if they haven't; seriously a solid 4 star dining establishment!
