Wait staff is very attentive and friendly, constantly checking to see if everything is good. Dining area is small but reminiscent of our hometown in Upstate New York. Pepsi products at the fountain. One major plus is fresh mushrooms for the pizza, not canned. Met other New Yorkers dining here tonight. Met the owners son who took very good care of us. Pizza looked good, but we never had a chance to try it. Sat for 15 minutes at lunch without even being recognized as being there. Server walked into the dining room three times to work with other patrons ( none of who had any food yet) , and never even looked at us. Could have been a little cleaner too. We love pizza, and finding a place that has GF, and that is not cauliflower, is a huge win. Their menu has many great options, and we were able to order in person, and our food only took a few mins to get. They do have sleighs to go sometimes, and they are greatr amount for a good deal. We had Ferrara Real NY Pizza cater lunch for our monthly office meeting with about 30 people. We ordered 11 XL pizzas with Cheese, Meat Lovers, Philly Cheese, Ferrara's Special, and Margherita, plus plenty of garlic knots for everyone to enjoy. Everything was hot, fresh, and really good. This chicken julien is sooo delicious! The sauce is light and refreshing. I'm loving the fresh garlic. The chicken is ridiculously tender and the artichokes balance nicely with the roasted red peppers and black olives. The pasta is also nicely al dente. I think i'm on a mission to bring the world pictures of every delicious pasta dish! Incredible food at an incredible value. My favorite restaurant for spaghetti with the best ever meatballs! Their pizza is NY style thin crust, add ons are very good. I believe their rolls are made by them and are delicious. We go for their lunch specials which are a very reasonably priced and still have enough for leftovers. Pizza by the slice is also available. Our orders come quickly. Great place! read more

First, we've ordered entrees from here and were pleased so we decided to try a pizza. Well... unfortunately, it was terrible! I'm not sure if the pizza (Philly Cheese) was supposed to come w/o any sauce or not because our pizza had no sauce of any kind on it. It was nothing more than mozzi cheese covered with toppings. During an onsite training at the Criminal Justice academy, we ordered pizza from Ferrara on our last day. I was the only one that needed the gluten free option and it was pretty good. There's no shortage of decent pizza places but lots of people complain about not finding good NY style pizza. It was billed as NY style pizza. I don't think it's quite NY pizza. It's still good pizza and everyone in my family seemed to like it. The pros: Really good toppings The sausage was the chunks instead of the sliced The food was appropriately priced Nice people work there Kind of a cute ambiance The cons: It took forever to get two pizzas and we were the only people in the dining room when we ordered. We frequent here often and have never had bad food or service. I love that they have a deli case with slices of pizza. We almost always get a few slices from that case. The white pizza with ricotta... phenomenal. The margarita ... also phenomenal. The cheese pizza is equally delicious... the sauce is what makes it. Ferraras is generally very good and one of our go-to pizza places but the takeout pizza can be soggy and undercooked at times. This may be because they try and get pizza out the door quickly before completely baked. Staff is friendly and they try hard. Other than soggy pizza the pasta dishes are terrific. read more

Finally tried Ferraras Pizza for the first time and all I can say as someone raised in NY is WOW!! The crust was cooked to perfection. Just the right crispness around the edge, yet foldable like a true NY slice should be. The sauce was slightly tangy yet not acidic. The cheese used is high quality and has just the right amount of pull when you separate the slices. And if you're a pepperoni fan, like the cheese, the pepperoni is of the highest quality I've had. The flavor of the cheese pizza was remarkably close to that of Spaghetti-O's. The crust was pretty good, but no one in my party thought it was much like the NY style pizza we typically enjoy. I also had a Caesar salad, but there was no Parmesan in it, just more dressing than I prefer, but maybe that's just my preference. read more

I had the Stromboli and a taste of the cheese pizza. The pizza was excellent and the Stromboli was very cheesy. The pizza tasted like pizza I've had in New York in the past growing up. Just had lunch here. My first time. It will be my last time. I walk in to take advantage of their lunch special. There's no one to greet me so I go to the counter. I order the lunch special and advise the lady I'm dining in. It must have been her first day on the job because she couldn't figure out how to ring me up on her cash register. I have to ask twice for my drink. She proceeds to hand me a styrofoam cup about 3/4 full with no commentary. So I go to get a table in the dining area. The waitress asks if she can help me. I replied that I'm getting a table. She tells me no, you've got to sit up front. She acquiesced when I told her no body told me that. She ignores me the whole time I'm there. I realize what's going on and was prepared to leave her a nice tip if she once asked how I was doing or offered me a refilled drink. I get nothing. I go up front for the refill and again get about 3/4 of a cup. Now that I know the lay of the land so to speak, I might have gone back but the pizza was absolutely bland. I say to the owner, spend a few more cents and flavor the sauce. An embarrassment to "New York style" pizza. Pizza Hut offers tastier food. read more
