They are not consistent. I order the same thing and it's always different. It's decent pizza, but it's expensive. Service is basic, and it's a take out joint. It is what it is. To go pizza shop read more

Pizza was pretty good. Hard to find decent pizza around here but this wasn't bad. Will most likely stop again if in the area.

In honor of National Pizza Month, we have a tradition of trying local pizza spots every Friday of the month of October. This place came highly recommended by our friends, and they were all spot on. When I first looked at the menu, I was surprised at how many choices they have! You can choose wheat, or a gluten free cauliflower crust for many of the pizzas. You also have the option to CYO (create your own) and build a pizza from crust, to sauce, to toppings. There are so many options- and the hubs is pretty traditional, so we chose one off the menu. We went with the "No Nitrate" which is essentially a meat lovers type of pie, except this one had onions-- which was really nice! We carried out, and the place was packed. The service was still excellent and the staff were super friendly and asked that I check to make sure everything looked ok before I left with our order-- which I thought was really nice! This place will definitely be in the rotation. I can't wait to come back and try some of the more unique options they have! read more

Staff and aesthetic were very nice but a tiny panini the size of my iphone for $12 was not. You could get so much more in many places for 12. Would not recommend the paninis for that price. read more

Knead Pizza - The size of the panini compared to the small box it is placed in - Pizza Near Me - Lexington, South Carolina

The staff at knead are always extremely friendly and go out of their way to speak in a get to know you way. Not just how is everything. The food is always fresh and can tell they put love in to it. Always plenty of seating for the family, and my son appreciates that the tv usually has sports in. Recommend trying the club pizza, trust me it's good! read more

Decent pie, fresh toppings, & attentive staff. Small but very nice craft beer selection. Brightly lit dining area with several teevees to take in the game. Will def return for a takeout when the hunger hits. read more

Knead Pizza - Spinach, broccoli, and chicken w/ red sauce - Pizza Near Me - Lexington, South Carolina

The crust is closest to a ny style versus MOD or Blaze. Sauce is good. Toppings normal. Not bad, definitely worth a try. They seem local. Service was awesome!!! read more

Visited for the first time a few weeks back and boy was this some awesome pizza! They create their signature pizzas or your own creation in a matter of a few minutes. The BBQ pizza was amazing! I'll definitely be back. read more

Had a great dinner with friends at Knead a couple weekends ago. Pizza was delicious, hot, and cooked perfectly! Staff was helpful, the manager was great, and they were super accommodating for our little bit larger crowd. Everyone was wearing masks and doing their best social distancing, staff wore gloves, and washed hands often. They have a really great beer selection, too. They had some Ships Wheel Hard Cider that I had heard about but never gotten a chance to try. I appreciate that about a little hometown place supporting other local businesses! Will definitely be back soon. read more

I like KP for the most part. Flavor is good but the pizzas tend to be dry for me. If I ask for extra sauce online it tends to get overlooked but in person it's ok because I can "tell them when to stop". The normal dough texture seems odd to me compared to other pizza I've had in the past. I don't know how else to explain it... it's a little hard, waxy even... maybe because it's undercooked at times. Not always like that though and not like that lately so much. I love all the options they have. It's super custom and you can honestly get fantastic deals for the amount of pizza & toppings you leave with. Since most places wanna charge you $1.50-2 per dang topping and this place automatically lets you have 3 toppings on the house. Idk. I appreciate that :) read more

Have it your way. Build your own personal pizza. Add three toppings. Always hot and fresh.

I'm a pizza addict... but also on KETO! #StruggleIsReal Insert Knead Pizza's NEW cauliflower crust. Now, I am not going to say that it is better than regular pizza -- that would be daft; HOWEVER, I can tell you it's the best cauliflower crust around... Add the "No Nitrate" toppings (I opt for the white pesto sauce), and a Mich Ultra (again, carbs) and PRESTO! My pizza need on LOCK!!! Great, locally owned restaurant; owner is awesome -- staff is too!!! And my wife loves the local brews on tap!!! read more

Glad to have craft beer and great pizza in lexington! Veteran owned business. Let's keep them going!

Great place! We love the BLT salad, buffalo chicken pizza, and no nitrate pizza. Employees are very nice and helpful, the place is clean, and though we have no young children anymore, the kids who come always look happy in the chalkboard area or playing with dough. read more

Pizza is very good and the sides are very fresh. I like making my own personal pizza.

My kids and I love coming here for pizza dinner. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. The owner is always so friendly and makes sure to come by and say hey each time. If you get the chance to eat here then definitely do so. We come at least twice a month if we make it to this side of town. read more

Superb service!!! Natural ingredients are a plus. Super fast cooking times. Delicious pizza!!

Excellent! We've only ordered one time, but The pizza was priced right and delicious. Highly recommend.

Always looking for great pizza and after checking yelp for nearby restaurants Knead Pizza popped up and the pictures alone made me want to come and try it. The restaurant was very clean and inviting coming in. The two employees there were very polite and helpful and patient with me as it was our first time visiting. They had great recommendations. I decided to try no nitrate but added mushrooms and spinach. It smelled amazing, looked great and tasted amazing. The crust was perfect...not to thin and held all the toppings well without being weighed down and floppy! The flavors were great! I can't wait to come back and try some of the other pizzas that they recommended to me!! read more

Knead Pizza - a pepperoni pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Lexington, South Carolina

This was a good pizza experience. I was leary about trying this place at first, but my wife convinced me to give it a try. As far as Chipotle style assembly line pizza goes, the quality and flavor are better than Mod, in my opinion. May main critique would be this: I think they need to slow their oven down by a minute or so. My traditional crust was right on the acceptable edge of doneness for my taste, but my wifes gluten free crust was definitely under done. We had them refire it for a little longer. Fun selection of brews that they keep mostly local. Will definitely be back. read more

Always fast, fresh and made to order. Staff is friendly as well! Love they support local kids too!

Great pizza!!! Amazing staff! And owned by a veteran!! They offer a good selection of ingredients for a pizza, panini or salad.

Excellent fresh food. A wide array of choices, build your own pizza, salad bar line with lots of options. Staff is very pleasant and always helpful read more

VOTE & FOLLOW ME Visited: 6.30.18 and more visits Food: ***** Best "make your own pizza!!" Drinks: ***** Good selection on tap Service: Excellent! Manager served us and was awesome!! Attire: casual Pro Tip: Pepperoni lovers paradise! Bestest/quality pepperoni than any other pizza joint! For the longest time, I have been craving pizza after doing a fitness show had 10 pizza pies from various pizza locations in 8 days! Knead pizza has been the talk of the town and I have been seeing their ads all over the place that mentioned.. BEER ON TAP!! My wife and I were recommended by the manager, Chris, to have the 10" personal pie each with 3 toppings of our choice but we settled for the Meaty pie and the Tropical Heat which I subbed ham for **pepperoni**. Both pies were outstanding, loaded with fresh veggies/toppings. Homemade sauces, good thin crust thats soft and doughie- whoever said it tastes like cardboard must've ate the paper plate :) They have a good selection for beer on tap and Happy Hour on Thursdays from 4-8PM. The verdict, Knead Pizza is a "make your own pizza" place, same category as Blaze, MOD Pizza, etc. And in my opinion, better than the others coz of quality ingredients and cost. This is not like Little Ceasers which is crap and NOT a NY style pizza lol read more

Great place! Locally owned - Bonus! Fresh and Natural ingredients and friendly service.

Great pizza, and service, affordable prices, pizza is made fresh right in front of you. I would go back and tell everyone to go hear for exceptional locally owned pizza. read more

We live in Leesville so were excited to hear about a new pizza place about half the distance to where we normally have to go for a decent pizza (Nicky's, 5 Points). But I had grave concerns since it was near the high school. Last time I had pizza near the high school it was clearly designed to appeal to the Domino's crowd. So we were relieved to discover this was actually pretty good pizza. The menu was very interesting, lots of unique specialty pizzas. And for those not as adventurous, you have the option to create your own. They did offer a gluten-free option although this was not a concern of ours. Best of all, they had a great beer selection including some interesting craft beers on tap. The atmosphere was very casual, almost fast food. You walk up and order, then they bring it out to you when it's done. They also have flat screen TVs for you sports fans. Price is comparable any sit-down restaurant (think Mellow Mushroom or Uno's as opposed to a delivery place like Domino's or Little Caesar's). We enjoyed the Mediterranean pizza, substituting red sauce for the white that it came with. The crust was thin like we like it, but could have been more crisp IMO - we like it crispy! But the ingredients were fresh and tasty. We ordered a large which was a 14" I believe and it was just the right size for two hungry adults. No leftovers this time. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Service was fast on a Friday night, probably b/c the local high school had an away game thank god. Notwithstanding the crust crispiness factor, this is probably the best pizza around without me having to travel to downtown Cola or fight the traffic on 378. We like Angelo's pizza also but Knead has a little more modern vibe. We will definitely be back. read more

Well I took my kids there today as a treat both of them are teenagers and both of them love pizza we are a big fan of make your own pizza I have a gluten allergy which makes it hard for us to go out to different restaurants. So we thought we would try this today I have never tasted or more cardboard crappy disgusting pizza ever I cannot believe I wasted $30 on this we will never eat there again. Not only was the food disgusting and tasteless but the restaurant was absolutely filthy the pictures on the wall had dust and food gunk on them the floors were dirty the walls were all scratched up and had food particles on them really bad food really gross restaurant this is the reason why I am giving it a one read more

BE ADVISED. Do not order a pizza if you have a gluten allergy. The kitchen is not safe for Celiacs. While they do have gluten free crust, they bake it on the same pans as all the other pizzas. And the sauce is dipped with the same spoon. They DID clean the prep area and change their gloves. Good effort but I'm still sick. my mistake. I should have stopped them and ordered a salad. Everyone else said their pizzas were terrific! The staff need a little more education on prepping for gluten free needs. You can't burn off gluten from a pizza pan. Nice try. read more

I like the pizza we ordered twice but every time we think of ordering again we always pass because of the price. Great service people and local owned and we feel bad giving 2 stars but that's what it is if I'm honest. Not saying it not worth it just not to us. If the specialty pizza and ingredients are for you then go for it. Same reason we don't go to mellow mushroom. read more

Eh. All of the people complaining about the price have lived here their whole lives or something. It's a normal priced speciality pizza when compared to the rest of the US. Now...do you get your money's worth? Barely to no. We will go there randomly still... i mean...it's not bad, just lackluster. The service/staff is always nice and a pleasure dealing with though..which adds a star back on to their 3 star pizza. Edit: ordered again tonight and it was pretty amazing actually. read more

Great food! Friendly and helpful staff! Small cozy local place with a laid-back feel.

Been here a couple times and enjoyed it. Really like the idea of splitting the large with my wife and we can each get whatever we want on our half. The beer selections are good. What else can you say about the pizza I come in hungry and leave satisfied read more

We have been here several times, and it just keeps getting better. The food is delicious and the people are awesome! Thanks for including all of the special request. read more

The pizza was really good but quite expensive. Also, we found out that you go to the front to order it set up like Subway. Also we got the No Nitrate (all meat) but added olives and mushrooms not realizing an extra veggie topping is $2. In the end a 14" pizza and 2 beers was $36. read more

We are big fans of this type of make your own pizza joint (Uncle Maddios) and when we found out about Knead we just had to try it. Think Moe's or Subway but pizza. The service was great and the pizza was really good. My daughter decided to add something after the fact and they were very nice and accommodated her wish and were very patient. The selection was great and it's fun to try new combinations every time you visit. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend you visit! read more
