Ordered 2 orders of Mozzarella sticks, 4 drinks, 2 large cheese Pizzas and a Chicken Alfredo pizza (personal size) to go. The first pizza was fine the second pizza was over cooked and doughy. The manager asked what do you want me to do about it? I replied remove it from my bill and he said he would take 5 dollars off the bill. When I went to pay the bill was 93 dollars. We're in town to visit Congaree National Park and Italian sounded good. The place is clean, the staff friendly and prompt. We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer. It was not what I expected...Texas toast with tomato sauce and melted mozzarella on top. I expected something homemade, chunky with olive oil and Italian spices. We ordered spaghetti with salads and garlic bread. Again, it was tomato sauce over pasta, something I think I could've made myself. But the portions were generous, the food hot and we were well served. My husband ordered baklava for dessert. It was not exceptional but it was good. As always the pizza was awesome. Sadly they have a sign that reads please be kind to the employees that showed up. Well we did extend kindness to the only waitress they had. So ready to leave her an awesome tip since the place was empty. Unfortunately the only server didn't care for us and provided the worst service we have ever had there. We go to Tony's Pizzalicious at lease twice a month and get the same pizza every time. The service was always on point. I rarely, if ever, publicly express my dissatisfaction with another business, especially a local business, but my experience today at Tony's Pizzalicious on Knox Abbott Drive was like nothing I've ever experienced. It started 2 nights ago when I picked up an order to go totaling approx $23. I opened the top on my manicotti, took a bite and immediately felt hair in my mouth. I pulled out a hair at least 12" long. (My hair is no more than 2 inches, so it wasn't mine). I took a picture of it. I called up to Tony's and spoke to the manager. I very nicely explained that my husband and I were not going to be eating the meals, would be glad to bring them back, but I wanted a refund. She was very kind and apologetic, but told me she would have the owner call me the next day. I never got a call. So, today I went into the restaurant. The owner told me that the other 2 ladies there would help me, but I told him that I needed to talk to him. He moaned, rolled his eyes and said, "what do you want". I explained what happened and asked for my money to be refunded. He told me that he wouldn't give it back to me because I probably planted the hair to get money and that people do that to him all the time. He said if I had brought the meals back, so he knew that they hadn't been eaten, that he would have given me my money back. I told him that I would go get the meals out of my trash and bring them there. He said okay. When I returned with the uneaten meals, he pushed them back at me, told me that he talked to his "girls" and none of them had spoken with me about this. I told him he could open the containers and see that all the food was there and even see the hair, but he refused to take a look. He called me a scammer. He started using the F word with me. He told me to get off his property or he would call the police. This is the worst business encounter that I have ever dealt with in all of my years. I mean, I don't need the $23, but it was the principle of the thing. Of course, I will never go back there, but beware of this owner's business ethics. Unacceptable. Total fail. read more

If you're looking for a modern, somewhat upscale restaurant. This isn't it. If you want that throwback mom-n-pop experience, this is your place. The staff were all very friendly. We like the old, small town feel to it. The chefs salad was nothing special, but that's ok, we didn't come for salad tasting. The pizza was great. Sometimes my kids won't eat the crust, but they even finished that off. The calzone was good as well, though pizza sauce would've been better for dipping(the sauce tasted more like a light pasta sauce). The lady serving us was very friendly and made sure we always had what we needed. Pros: great pizza, friendly staff, fair price. Cons: calzone sauce, salad was meh, and the ranch in commercially bought packets was a letdown. Definitely still a solid 4/5 overall. read more

I ate today at Tonypizzalicious in Cayce for the first time in about 15 years. Before that I ate many years ago at their predecessor, Tony's Pizza, which had extremely good Spaghetti and fantastic home cooked Roast beef sandwiches with their special sauce they called bbq sauce. Today I got the famous spaghetti with meatsauce and a salad for a little over $10. Not a bad deal and the spaghetti was good. I gave it a 4 star because it was heavy on pasta and the meat sauce was good but not fantastic. It was hot, as you can see the steam in the picture. I came in to come eat with my family. I had my little niece with me, we sat down and ordered our food and my niece started to get upset and crying. We were trying to calm her down and we were told by an older male worker that my niece was being too loud and that they had other customers. My family and I felt uncomfortable by the way we were treated so we left. Six of us went here for lunch today. First time for all of us. My friend had recommended it, saying you go here for the spaghetti, not the pizza. Arrived at 11:30 and there was plenty of booths. Two of our friends got there first and had a table set up for six. They had on waitress working and she immediately took our drink orders and came back for our entrees. I asked her what she preferred, spaghetti or pizza, and she said they were both good but liked the pizza better. It seems that most of the Yelp reviewers have had the pizza over the spaghetti. I really wanted to try the spaghetti, but the pizza did look good, so two of us decided to split a small pizza and a spaghetti and meatball entree. We ordered a small pizza (all meat) and an order of spaghetti with meatballs. The spaghetti came with a side salad. We ordered a side house salad also. The salad was fresh and good. Pizza came out on a hot metal plate and looked great. It was very good. Nice cheese pull, lots of meat, and the crust was just right. Not real thin or thick, but nicely done so it was crispy and the crust was also done right. Two of the guys ordered Hawaiian pizzas and said they were good also. One ordered a curatta spaghetti (or something like that). It had cheese baked on top of it and really looked good. It had onions, green peppers, italian sausage (no meatballs). This guy has never said anything was good...it's always "Oh, it was okay". This was the first time I've heard him say an item was "Good". I thought the spaghetti and meatballs was just "okay". Meatballs were good, tender, and the sauce was good. Nothing special about it...and realized after I saw the Curatta that they did have a "Baked Spaghetti" on the menu. I think I should've ordered that. I'd like to give this four stars...I think it may deserve four stars. The service was good, waitress very good, but I have a feeling that when it's crowded things could be possibly slow. We had plans to go to another restaurant, but it was closed so we decided with Tony's. Recently moved to the area and trying to find my go to restaurants. We sat down at a booth and the waitress was very attentive. We ordered the meatlovers and Dimi pizzas. While we waited we sipped on our drinks enjoyed the complimentary coloring pictures and crayons, my son especially enjoyed the coloring. Pizza soon came out hot and fresh just the way I like it. There was a Mediterranean explosion in my mouth. The sauce had a very good balance of seasonings, vegetables, cheese, and meat was not burned, but deliciousness. We all ate in silence as we each ate 4 slices. Normally, I just eat two slices, but that day i couldn't help myself. It was so good that I ordered another meatlovers to go. It was just okay, nothing special really. I liked the appearance of the place, some may call it dated, but for me it was kind of like going back in time. Everything was clean. Starting in the 1970's, I use to eat here with my family and I kept going as the years went along. One of the things I liked about it was that it never changed. When you went to Tony's, you knew what you were going to get. I always ordered the sandwich plate with two sides. You could choose: ham, roast beef or turkey and two sides from: spaghetti, tossed salad, congealed salad or chips. It was always delicious, but then a few years ago something happened. I don't know what it was, but everything changed and not for the better. Gone were the sandwich plates and the spaghetti sauce we loved. I stopped going and did not return for several years. Rude Owner, Not Family Friendly, Average Food. Our family met up here and our young son and his young cousin were yelled at by the owner who then kicked our large party out. There was only one other couple in the restaurant and he said the 21 month old was being too loud. After attempting to discipline the toddler by coming out of the kitchen aggressively, he told us to leave. The grandmother and mother were in tears at the rudeness of this owner. The food is average at best. We went for the family friendliness and he failed. Do Not Go here. See the other reviews, he is a very rude new owner who insults people. I read the reviews, by figured I'd try it anyway. We got a small Pizza and wings. The wings were actually quite good, not a lot of fat and cooked well. If definitely get those again. I liked the convenience of the drive thru window for pick up, I have an infant, so if I can avoid taking my baby out of the car, it's a plus. The pizza however, was a bust. They cook their Pizza on one of those rotating racks that goes through the oven, kind of like the toaster at a hotel. The pizza dough was raw inside still. And I don't mind thin crust, but it was inconsistent on the edges. It appeared to have seeped into the grate a bit on the edge and was cracker-ish/dry. I would not get the pizza again. read more

We LOVE pizza and like trying new pizza joints. We drove by and decided to stop in and order a small side salad, garlic cheese bread sticks, and a small Dimi's pizza to go. We left to run a few errands, and we when we came back 30 minutes later to pick up our order, we waited for about 10 minutes before being acknowledged. The salad was the best item, but there was as much cheese as there was lettuce. The bread sticks were made from the bread of a sub sandwich. It was sliced and topped with chewy cheese, and served with, what tasted like canned, red sauce. The pizza was completely burned as the crust and toppings were charred. The crust had a funny sour taste. Frozen pizza is better. Not sure we will give this place a second try. read more
