The Panera is unnecessary getting slack here. This place is pretty standard and nice. While there wasn't any one to order, but since Panera has an app and kiosks, it is easy enough to order. The display shows when your order is up in the queue and when it is ready. The layout in the restaurant is quite modern and more open. I enjoyed ordering and picking up. The shopping district in Columbia where they have decided to put all the restaurants for 150000 people at the same place seems unplanned and poor and makes it difficult to get in and out of the place with your car but that's not this restaurants fault obviously, that is on city planners or lack thereof. read more

This location is such a disappointment! They consistently run out of their most popular items and will cancel your order without even calling or texting to let you know it's been canceled so you're left waiting with no food. Ever since their location changed Panera has been such a disappointment and grossly understocked. read more

Ordered a bowl of the broccoli cheddar soup today. It was maybe 100-105 degrees. I went back up to the counter and asked if they would heat it up and they said no. Did not offer me a different soup that might be hotter. Horrible customer service and horrible food handling . I have a food handlers license and this is a violation. Soups must be heated to 165 degrees and held no less than 140 degrees for no more than 4 hrs or bacteria that can cause food born illness can occur. I can't believe the lack of management and customer service here to fix a problem that is panera bread's fault. Haven't been to a panera in atleast 10 yrs and will never set foot in one again. read more

Well that didn't take long. This Panera is following closely in the footsteps of its predecessor on Bower Parkway. It shouldn't surprise me that it is. It's the same poor franchise owner that has let all the other Columbia market Paneras go down in flames. Missing recipe components. Slow service. Bottom of the barrel personnel and managers. People should learn to use the Panera mobile ordering app. If you plan on ordering your food in the drive-through line for a family of six, please go inside and do not hold up the drive-through line. Additionally, if the staff is working on the order for the family of six, maybe ask them to park in a spot! read more

Do not dine in. If you are coming to this Panera and you want your food faster then 30 minutes after you place your order then go through the drive thru or place a carry out order on the app. They prioritize the drive thru over all of the customers in the very very tiny dine in area. I know Panera is not fast food but it is so annoying to have them call name after name of people who are not here just to get your food cold. After 25 minutes we went up to see what was wrong but only one person was expediting while another guy was texting on their phone like they didn't have people waiting for food. If this is the new direction for Panera I think they will go under. The food is not that good for the price you pay or the 30 minutes you wait. Also no one is cleaning the dining room or bathrooms (no toilet paper). Another small note this restaurant is not very wheelchair friendly. Very narrow isles in the dining room hard to open doors and a small bathroom. All in all when they moved locations they ruined the local Panera. read more

I ordered on the app on location and waited in my car for about 7 min before going in and it took about 15-20 min for the food to be made. They seemed very busy and lots of people were waiting. One girl said she missed her whole lunch hour. The food slapped and was made fresh so I was happy about that but I think the service speed could have been better.....then again it was lunch rush time. Staff was nice enough to check in on me a couple of times so that was good. If you plan on eating here either order ahead if you're in a rush and use the app before leaving your last destination or make sure you have plenty of time to hang around. read more

10/23/2024 I placed an order through the app, then waited in line at the drive through approximately 25 minutes, only to be told that my order had to be cancelled due to Panera being "out of bread". I asked about the soup that I also ordered, and I was told that they were also "out of soup". If they were out of everything, they should have told me when I first arrived at the drive through instead of letting me wait in line. Since I already had paid online, I requested a receipt showing a refund, but I was told they couldn't do that. I was given a regular receipt showing the order that I placed, and I was told that I would have to wait to receive a credit to my debit card "in several days". I received a Birthday reward from Panera, I placed an order on the app the night before so I could just run and grab it before I go to work. I stood by the rapid pickup line and after almost 7minutes of waiting I asked an associate if they knew where my order was because I received an email it was ready for pickup. Dominick told me they sold out he can just cancel the order . I informed him I used my reward to which he replied there's nothing we can do about that. My issue is not them selling out it's just the nonchalant attitude he had. He didn't even offer me anything else and when I asked for a manager he said I am the shift leader. Went to the drive through for 1 regular coffee and 1 half decaf. Handed us both coffees and said "I don't know which is which". We told her we needed to know so could she remake them. One my of favorite I love that 10 vegetable soup it is to die for ! It's like a bowl of magic the way it tingles your taste buds . I have to admit I'm seriously addicted to Panera bread . It is pricey but everything is good . I had a apple cinnamon scone seriously it was drizzled with what tasted like fairy dust felt like I was literally in heaven. Try it guys and the sandwiches ok don't get me started on those all of them are great. The other soups are great as well the chicken noodle, I tell you the noodles are special can't explain it, they just are. It's a secret-their own little secret. That's why they can get away with charging almost $10 for a bowl of soup and sandwich because it's worth it . My grandma always said, you get what you pay for and they live up to it 100 percent. Not only was my order missing pieces... I received quite the attitude when I addressed the missing items to the girl behind the counter. Yes, I understand you're stressed and your management must hate you since there are 4 workers staffing the busy lunch rush... but I don't deserve a snappy response. The food was mediocre at best. My husband and I both ordered Green Goddess Cobb salads. Green goddess dressing was not available. My husband decided on balsamic vinaigrette. Mine was supposed to come plain but it also had balsamic vinaigrette. In addition, they must have forgotten the bacon. On both salads. Our son (who is 9) ordered a small Mac n cheese. It was $6. A large was $10. For noodles with cheese on them... The person at the register said a small was 1.5 cups. What we received was much smaller. Just went in for lunch. Ordered a bowl of the autumn Squash soup. Could not eat. Got a cup of soup. Soup was like water and had no taste. Manager's solution was to give a refund. No apologies, did not seem surprised that the soup was an issue. It wasn't even at the mobile order stand, i had to go and ask for it at the counter, it was just sitting there. No rush from the staff at all. As if they have a big thick rough splintered stick up their asses.
